These shoes are very pretty in person, and they look good on, but man oh man, the company should change their name! There was precious little padding in these shoes, and underneath a hard rubber sole. With my feet being swollen a lot of the time, I liked the adjustable front of the shoes, but my steps landed hard on the ground, and these were just not comfortable. The manufacturing also leaves a lot to be desired. At this price point, it was a little expensive to forgive stray "hot glue" lines and sloppy shiny glue marks on the shoe. Had to send them back.

The binding around the edge is stiff and abrasive.

Finding slippers in wide width is not easy. I also don't want anything with fleece lining. I just wanted slippers that would be safe to walk around the house in. These fit the bill. They are sturdy and very warm. It's easy to adjust to accommodate changes in foot size due to swelling. I would not be able to use them in warm weather because they really make my feet feel warm.

This is my fourth pair of the Marla Black Slippers. I am disabled on crutches and need an open toe slipper and the velco on the top to open and close the slippers easy. My daughter found them in a store in Nashua NH and they are perfect for me!!! I just love them. After buying the first pair I wanted a second pair for back up purposes. The only thing that has worn out on this slipper is the bottom and then it gets a little slippery on the wood floors. The rest of the slipper has not worn out on the first two pairs. Then I just got a third pair for Christmas a decided to buy a fourth pair for another back up! Another good feature of these slippers is that they are raised up in the heel and prevent me from falling backwards. I love these slippers.

Beautiful slippers but they were too wide in the heel for me.

The footbed is not soft or spongy at all. The bound edges of the upper pieces are made of a stiff material that irritated my very sensitive feet. I ordered wide because I have Tailor's Bunions on my little toes, but they were too narrow for me and the side of the footbed cut into the sensitive bunion area. Maybe ok for normal feet but if you are trying to deal with any foot issues this is not a soft comfy shoe.

The fit was oversized, would not stay on my foot. The material is stiff, barely bendable. Very uncomfortable.
