Very stiff upper and little cushioning of the footbed. So disappointed in these Rockports. Definitely going back.

Rockports used to be one of my favorite shoe brands but these were so uncomfortable. Very stiff uppers, little cushioning and poor arch support. Cannot recommend them.

I\'ve bought this brand over the years along with Brooks and New Balance. I expected the shoe to be comfortable, fairly cushiony with some decent support. This time I was really disappointed. This shoe is not any more comfortable than a cheaper shoe that is easy to get at one of the discount stores. I have narrow feet and so the fit is important. If it\'s not true narrow it quickly becomes too loose. Sorry to say I wouldn\'t buy this one again. It\'s a nice looking shoe. I wanted to have something besides a typical athletic shoe to wear with jeans and casual slacks. As an alternative, I tried using insoles to improve the feel. It doesn\'t work well with them either.
