This shoe fit well right out of the box, and does exactly what I wanted it to do, make my walking miles more of a workout.I've had two back surgeries and this shoe helps me strengthen my back & keep my posture correct.

Shoe felt true to size and width. The toebox was a little narrow compared with other Earth styles, but is still comfortable. An excellent walking shoe that gives your legs a workout without killing your feet!

These shoes are amazing. I thought it would take me a while to get used to the lower heel, but it took about 10 minutes of walking in them. They are awesome!!!

Great Vegan Sneakers -
These sneakers are great! They are very comfortable and they also look good. They felt like they were already broken in the first time I wore them. You can feel your legs working in a different way because of the negative heel. I think these shoes work better for walking than running. When running, you tend to be tipped up onto your toes more than in a regular running shoe.

Feels different, but good -
These feel a bit strange when you first put them on and I thought I would have to get used to them before working out in them. But they felt pretty good so I ran 2.5 miles on my treadmill the first time I wore them with no issues at all. I like them and especially appreciate that they are vegan in construction.

These shoes are a little clunky but, they make your very nice posture and thus relieve back pain. The arch support is excellent so no orthotic inserts are necessary.

I am a huge fan of Earth shoes of all kinds! This is my third pair of athletic shoes and I even run in them for shorter distances (3-4) miles. This particular pair of shoes seems to have a really high arch and I am having some issues with them as workout shoes or even wearing them for extended amounts of time. I'm thinking they just need to be broken in more. I remain a fan!

I am in love with these shoes. My only requirement for a shoe is that it have such powerfully strong arch support and stability that I can wear them all day at work (where I am on my feet) and I can come home, and still get up and walk about the next day without pain. These, and my other faves, Brooks Walkers, are the only shoes I can rely on. My only complaint: they rub on the outsides of my pinkie toes.

I wanted a pair of Earth walking shoes for the negative heel technology hoping that it would decrease my back pain. I tried every Earth walking shoe in my size that was available through Zappos and rejected all of them except two. The most comfortable pair for me was the Pacific style, but it looked bulky and I didn\'t feel the negative heel, so I bought the Kinetic - Vegan. I have been wearing them for about three weeks on my daily three mile walk and I like them. I definitely stand up straighter when I\'m wearing them and my back pain is significantly reduced. My only dissatisfaction with them is that the shoes feels bulky when I\'m wearing them because soles are very inflexible and hard (in contrast to the sole of Pacific which felt soft and padded). Strangely enough, that hardness does not make the shoes uncomfortable, but the inflexibility does mean that I don\'t wear the shoes except on my morning walks. I have fallen a couple of times in the past few years and want to wear shoes during the day that are softer and more flexible.

I bought these shoes last year and thought they would be like the other Earth shoes, but the heel goes down too far and makes my back hurt, I can only wear them for a short time. I bought them to wear at work but can't put my back in a bind. Love the other styles.

The shoes are awesome, just one thing I don’t like about it is that it looks so big on. My size is 7.5 and it looks like I’m wearing a size 10.

I am a nurse and this is the 3rd style of Earth sneakers that I tried. They are very supportive, however, they creak, even after 2 months of wearing them. Also, they hurt the top of my great toenail and are heavier than my other pairs which makes a big difference after a 13 hour shift. Of the three styles I've tried I am least happy with these. The "Earth" quality is definitely there, my posture can feel it, there are just a few tweaks that bother me.

This shoe was huge. It doesn't run true to size at all. 8s are tiny and 8 1/2 are enormous. Tired of trying to make this brand work for me.

I love this shoe! It saved me from having to give up running. I was having all kinds of problems with my foot "falling asleep" during my runs, and also problems with cramps from bad posture, etc. These took a little getting used to (mostly because of the amazing calf stretch you get with every step) but now, instead of having to quit running, I am getting ready to do my first 10K. I will never wear another running shoe.

This is my second pair of Kalso Earth and they are the most comfortable shoes around. The toe box is a good fit, plenty of room. I only wish they were made in the US.

I love Earth shoes! But unfortunately, these shoes pinch my toes; never wore them anywhere. The front area is very small, so sadly I'm returning them.

Two to three years ago I bought Earth's sandal, their version of the flip flop. Love it, love it, love it. Can walk around 10-11 hours and still be comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis, arthritis in some toe joints and I've been a nurse for over 30 years. Lately I have developed Morton's neuritis in my left foot. Getting my nursing shoes off and putting my Earth sandals would relieve some of the pressure on that nerve, since the heel is negatively balanced and all the weight of my body is tipped back. So I bought the running shoe/sneaker for work thinking my foot will feel better. NOT. Only because the toe box is not as high and roomy as my Saucony's Grid Stable. So the arch is supported, but the toe box of the Earth Kinetic actually presses down on the toes causing even more pain on that inflamed and trapped nerve. Whereas the Earth sandal is open, and there is no pressure on the toes. They make your feet look big too.

I wish this shoe had worked for me. I have constant back and leg pain, and the negative heel really helps with that. I like the design and fit of the shoe. The reason that I had to return them is after a couple of hours my feet were very sore. While the fit and arch support were perfect, the shoe needs way more cushioning (at least for me). When I checked under the insole, the shoe is as hard as concrete. I ordered a pair of Premieres, hopefully they'll be cushier.

I bought these shoes because I am vegan and wanted my new pair of running shoes to be vegan. I was using them to train for a marathon, and unfortunately, they just don’t provide the support I need for running. I don’t mind the negative heel when I am walking, but when I am running it starts to be too much for my Achilles tendon. I would very much recommend these shoes for anyone looking for a comfortable shoe to wear during the day, or if you will use them for walking. I would not recommend them for anyone who is going to be running any distance greater than 2-3 miles.

Overall, great shoes! I have a narrow heel and in these shoes they slip badly. I am trying different methods to fix this. Other Earth shoes fit better, but they do not have laces and are not athletic. However, I stand much straighter. I have a spinal fusion and Earth shoes really help me attain the level of stability I need.

Was thrilled when I found these shoes. Attractive, vegan and they have a fitness benefit. However after multiple attempts at wearing these shoes I've finally given up and contacted Zappos to inquire about a return. Within 45 minutes to an hour of wear, regardless of sock type, I develop huge painful blisters at the achilles tendon area of my foot. I've never experienced this with any other shoe ever. I'm very disappointed that I am unable to wear these shoes as I was very much looking forward to them. If you order these, I recommend wearing them inside for quite a while before you throw the packaging away or wear them on the street.

Could not walk in these - my heel kept slipping and the shoe rubbed badly on the back of my foot. So I returned them. I guess the unusual heel slope is just not for me.
