Picked this up for an young'un who requested pink shoes for her birthday and the mom wanted velcro closure. Loved the colors and so did the birthday girl. There are laces but the mom was okay with it because the velcro helps keep them tied. I ignored other reviews about these shoes running big so unfortunately birthday girl can't really wear these shoes yet.

I love this brand, shoes are comfortable, very light weight, and easy to clean! My daughter loves these, they are super cute! Order a 1/2 size smaller than you need, if you want them to fit with a little growing room.

This is a great everyday sneaker for my 2 year old daughter. It's cute, it's easy to put on, even for her. It seems comfortable and never left red marks or blisters on her feet. As she has grown, I bought a larger size. I wish they offered more color selections.

Okay, buy these! My daughter (7 years) has loved these sneakers for 3 years -- we just keep buying bigger sizes and occasionally different colors. She really doesn't want to wear any other shoe! My son (3 years) has a similar pair in more boyish colors and loves them too. They are well made, washable, look great and best of all are super comfortable.

Love, Love, Love these sneakers! My daughter has a wide foot and it is very difficult to find shoes that fit her. These sneakers are so lightweight and comfortable, there is no break in time. They are also very easy for my 2 year old to put on and take off all by herself. I had never heard of this brand before and was a little nervous to try them, but these are the only sneakers I will buy from here on out.

I loved these shoes. They fit my 3 year old's feet very well and have worn beautifully. They are incredibly cute, too and can be worn with anything. Like a previous reviewer said, I am not a fan of sparkles or Disney characters on my kid's sneakers. The only thing I don't like is the price, but I don't think that will stop me from buying another pair now that she's outgrown them.

This was the first time ordering from Zappos. I had wonderful service and it was much easier ordering the shoe than driving to the store on the other side of town. The Tsukihoshi Retro I received was just as great as all the previous Tsukihoshi\'s I had bought in the store. Thanks Zappos for an easy and service friendly process!

These fit my 3-year-old's wide and flat feet, and they fit my desire for cute and sporty but not overly done sneakers with flashing lights and Disney characters. The fact that they are washable was a definite selling point--plus not too many other kids have them, either, yet they don't look super expensive or snooty. I also like that the insoles come out easily, making it easy to tell how well they fit. Lightweight and flexible, with decent seeming arch support.

Awesome shoe! I bought this for my 7 year old daughter (almost 8) with the fear it looked a little elementary for her. You know, it's all about the big girl look. Definitely not childish looking. She loved it, put it on, and wore it out the door. I might add, she is very particular! She wore the Tsukihoshi Mayumi Jane last year during the entire school year and it wore very well. They still look new, except with a little wear on the toe. I also purchased the Tsukihoshi Goal shoe for this school year; super cute. I did go 1/2 size smaller. She wears a 12.5 and I purchased a 12. It had plenty of growing room. By the way, after I placed my order (5-7 days, free), Zappos emailed to inform me they gave me rush 2 day shipping free of charge for no reason. That's service.

These shoes are too cute. My three year old picked which color she wanted and gets excited every time she puts them on. They are wide, which is not easy to find in little kids shoes. The dark maroon part is a fuzzy kind of velvet stuff, and it started rubbing off two days after we got them. So the tips of the shoe and on the sides are now half red half Grey. I have no idea how it is rubbing off in the area, since she does not drag her toes or anything. Quite strange. But of course we may end up with another pair of these, since she likes them so much.

I have bought this brand before in a different style. The other style had 1 wide velcro strap that was much easier for the children to get on. Actually, they could put the shoes on by themselves. I have twin grandchildren and they need some assistance getting this style on. I am a fan of this brand and will give it another try the next time they need shoes. The girls keep these shoes on instead of pulling them off any chance they get with other shoes they wear. Whatever makes them happy I say! Thanks Zappos for the quick delivery and awesome service!

These shoes were very cute when we first got them. My daughter loved that they were red. Within two days of wearing them the soft stuff at the toe started rubbing off. I'm not sure how, or why because she doesn't drag her feet. After a month the toe is almost completely gray. The good thing is they are washable, so after washing the car I threw them in the washer and they came out just fine.

I purchased the Pink and White shoes for my 5 year old daughter. She has worn them for a little over a week now and the toe area is black. I have scrubbed them to try and get them clean to no avail. I am very disappointed.

Super cute! They are great and my daughter loves to wear them. We ordered a half size larger and they fit wonderfully. The only problem is they scuff up easily. My daughter plays in them and they are all scuffed on the front.

Very cute shoes, bought them for my 3 year old and jsut loved them at first. But, my only complaint is that the material on the front of the shoe started to rub off almost immediatly after wearing them for only a short time. And now we\'ve had them for about 4 months and the rubber underneath is completely exposed and the shoes look so cheap! Not happy and for the price would not recommend!
