I generally wear 8.5 in sandals, but I listened to other reviews and ordered size 8. My heel hung over the back. Sent them back and ordered size 9, which fit better, but I found that me heel was slipping out of the heel cup as I walked. So, I am going back to Sole flip flops.

I wanted to love these flip flops but after standing in them for a few minutes the bottoms of my feet hurt. I think the arch support is great for me it may have been too high. It's a nice looking, solid, flip flop though.

I have a four year old pair of these that fit nicely but look very worn now and so need to be replaced. Unfortunately, the new Ohanas seem to have much looser straps. I've ordered two pairs and they both have the same issue.

This was a nice, simple flip flop. The width was great, and I loved the way the material felt. But, the shoe was too small. I wear an 11 and my heel was barely hanging over the back of the shoe. I've found this brand runs small as I bought 2 other styles of OluKai and they all had the same result. If they started making size 12, we would be in business.

I bought these to replace a pair of Born flip-flops than I had worn into the ground. I liked the look of the Ohana well enough, but the shoe did not fit my foot at all. The top strap was very loose and the shape of the footbed was uncomfortable for my feet. They were also a bit narrow, as my foot was oozing over the side a bit. They would fit better on a foot with a higher arch than mine.

I have several pairs of the OluKai sandals and I LOVE them, but they are a different style. I liked this color, so I decided to try this style. Bad idea. This one did not fit the same at all. It felt cheap (even though it was more expensive than my other pairs) and the support was not as good. The color was beautiful. I would not recommend this style...Stick with the Kulapa Kai

I got my Ohanas about a year ago. As time goes by I have been slipping on carpet and tile. I thought I could rough them up a bit for more traction by walking on streets and sandy sidewalks. This did not work. I did not step in anything greasy or slippery with these shoes. It seems that the bottom soles harden with time. These are the slipperiest shoes I've ever owned and don't want to fall.

Beautiful sandal, well crafted with high-quality materials. Very comfortable.I sent mine back, however, because: 1. they're a little on the heavy side; 2. the strap rubbed the top of my left big toe area and left a red mark while I was trying them on around the house; and 3. they aren't as stylish on my feet as I'd hoped.

I love the comfort of these shoes. I chose them over any other summer shoe I have. The arch is supportive, the bed is comfy but not too bouncy, and the straps are not tight or hard. My only problem with these flops is that the dye from the bed, dyes my soles. My feet are tar black every time I wear these. For this, I have to give it 3 stars.

After all the great reviews I was sorely disappointed - as in the thong part hurts. As a South Floridian I wear flip-flops often. I am really sorry that I spent so much on uncomfortable shoes.

I'm so bummed to be returning these. I had such high hopes. And I love the style. The shoes themselves are very comfortable - great arch support, soft padded sole. I wore them for a couple hours around the house, and by the end I noticed that the straps were really starting to chafe the tops of my feet. They left marks and one of my feet was still sore the next day. I feel like they were slightly too large, perhaps too wide, and maybe weren't firmly fit to my feet. I'll be returning these and getting some cheapo flip flops somewhere.

They are comfortable however with a narrow foot being limited to a B/medium width makes the fit not the best for me. I knew going into the order this might be an issue. Quality and support are good!

Once the straps stretched enough to not rub on the inside edge of my foot, these were quite comfy and great for my plantar fasciitis. However, after only 3 months, I had a worn spot under the ball of my smallest toe on the left shoe - worn straight through the top layer of padding. Very disappointing considering the price.

Love the look and feel of these flip flops, but after a while the footbed of the shoe turned the bottom of my foot black! Has anyone else had this issue? Otherwise they are great.

These Olukais are the most comfortable flip-flops that I have ever owned - they have just the right amount of arch support on both arches. They feel so soft underfoot, they even helped my plantar fasciitis. However, after two months, they are so stretched out that I can barely wear them anymore, and the top sole material seems to be breaking down as well. Too bad. I was hoping that I had found my everyday favorites to live in.

I had high hopes for these after reading the reviews, but the thong pinches the skin between my toes. I guess I need a flip flop with a roomier thong, like in the older style Fit Flops, which were phenomenal shoes. As well, the arch support is too much for my feet. It's awkward to have the shoe pressing up against my normal arches with every step. These will probably go back.

Ordered many pair in different colors & returning most - disappointed as quality and fit are not the same as the two pair I purchased last fall (great shoes) - these are wider, have less arch support and sole not as thick. My very worn older black ones still have more support than these new ones. Too bad - wish I could keep them all!

I was disappointed with these flip flops. Although they are really stylish & the arch support is great, the shoe was heavy and clunky. Not at all as comfortable as I expected for as expensive as they are.

I do love the support of these shoes -- though was disappointed at how quickly they stretched out, reducing the benefit of the support in the foot bed, because your foot slides around.

Wore these around the house for a couple of hours. They felt fine at first, support is great. After an hour or so they were feeling not as comfortable and maybe the part that goes between your toes may start rubbing. I don't think they are worth the money. They look more like a $30 shoe to me. Color was a nice chocolate.

Bought and returned in my usual size -- slightly small, instep strap strangely tight, arch not placed right for my foot. Squishy footbed seemed nice otherwise.

Well, I was looking for an alternative to my ever-ready Orthaheel Tide, and I loved the plum color. Curiously, although they looked good, the sole was shaped in sort of a "comma", and my feet go very straight. I'm back to my old standby supportive flip flop. These go back.

I found that the top of shoe did not give enough leeway to slip on easily. I have a high arch and the V portion of the thong was too flat and did not give me enough movement. Although the shoe is made well, it didn't fit me well. I purchased size 10 which is usually Euro size 41. However, this shoe is Euro size 40 and a size 10. Inconsistent with euro sizing.

Cute sandal, but I found it a bit short -- normally I wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 9, and probably should have gone with a 10. They still would have worked, but the strap between the toes was too short, and it cut into the top of my foot. Maybe for a person with a narrower foot it would have worked, but it just didn't for me. I'm returning them and not going with a larger size, because it might still have the same issues with the toe strap.

So bummed! These are gorgeous and comfortable, but I agree with the previous reviewer. Something is wrong with the fit. I've got almost a full 1/2 inch of sole in front of my toes, yet my heel is almost falling off the back. It's too bad because everything else is great about this shoe. I don't recommend these unless you have VERY LONG TOES.
