Made from a neoprene/rubber material its nice and comfy. The only gripe with them is when they get wet your feet seem to slide around a bit while you're walking in them.

Not much to add to the already posted reviews but I did want to make everyone aware of my experiences. I've owned 2 pairs of these Ohanas now and they are the best sandals I've ever owned. With that said, I wear them every single day for 6 months out of the year and I'm relatively rough on them. About a year in on each pair, the toe strap has broken. I e-mailed Olukai support this time to see if they'd replace/fix them because it seems to be a persistent issue for me at least. Overall, I'm really happy with these!

I have worn these daily for approximately a month now. During the first week I developed painful cuts on both feet. For the right foot it was located on the top, in front of the horizontal strap and to the right of the vertical strap (at the base of my #2 toe). On the left foot the cut was located in the identical location (in other words they were symmetrical). I wore them anyways while considering a return. The cuts healed, became callus-like (within 2 weeks of wear) and they are now fine. I have never experienced a problem with flip flops like this before. On the upside, they are very attractive and very comfortable, and I continue to wear them every day. Are they worth the price (the most expensive flip-flop I've every purchased in my 43 year old life)? That verdict is still out and will depend on how long they last.

This is my 4th pair of Olu Kai sandals. Like all the others, the size is much smaller than labeled. I normally wear a 13 in almost all other shoes. But with Olu Kai sandals, I have to order 2 sizes too big to get the correct fit. So 15 fit perfectly in this Ohana model. They have the all rubber soles which are much, much more durable than the 2 pairs of leather with rubber pads that I have reviewed previously. If you are going to wear these on concrete at all, make sure you get the all rubber soles like in this Ohana model. These are great sandals and will be replacing another pair I have that were discontinued but did have this same sole. I wear them all the time and they have lasted multiple years.

This is why I buy all my shoes from Zappos. A strap came loose after one week of use. I was bummed at the idea of having to ship my brand new Ohana's back to OluKai to replace them. I honestly didn't think that Zappos would exchange them since they have already been used, but I called anyway. I was very happy when the representative told me they would send me a replacement pair in exchange for the old ones. Great customer service! It's amazing that I can call at 9am on a Sunday and talk to a real person. I wish that every place I shopped had this level of service. Hopefully this will not be a recurring issue with the Ohana flip flops. They are very comfortable and hope to get many years of use out of them.

The sandals are beautiful, and the cushioning on the bed of the shoe is very soft. The arch support, while seemingly soft, was a bit too rigid after walking in them less than 10 minutes (indoors). It became almost painful.

I was looking for a sandal that has arch support and is comfortable. A few years ago, I was told Chacos are the best and bought. For me, not the best, comfort-wise. The Ohanas are certainly lighter in weight and provide good support. Comfort level? Better than the Chacos, but I still think there's a more comfortable sandal out there.

Very comfortable. I think the arch of the thongs may be a bit high as they feel a bit loose on my boney feet. Maybe better for a fat foot guy, maybe all flip flops are like this. I never owned any of them before. Besides that they are excellent with a really comfortable foot bed and good traction for walking down my back hill on wet grass.

This flip has the best arch support by far. I had tried many others and these are great. Have already ordered a back-up pair as it took me 2 years to find these!

I like leather ones better. Surprisingly, these smelled funky real quick - with me it's usually the other way around! But I still like them!

My husband received a pair of sandals in the wrong size and exchanging them was super easy. The sandel itself runs a little small in width and length.

Nice support for a thong sandal. Order a size up. The overall length seems a bit short.

Skinny feet are hard to fit into flip flops, but these fit perfectly. Great arch support, and they don't seem to need to be broken in much. Will see how they do after 9 days in Maui!

I really like these sandals. I did have to return the first pair to get a larger size. My only complaint on the second pair that I received is that the strap on the right sandal is looser than the left foot. It is a little annoying but I just don\'t feel like returning the sandals again since they are comfortable.

I bought these sandals based on the rave reviews, but although they are nice overall, I was disappointed. After wearing Tevas for years, these seem a little thin and not as sturdy or supportive. They are comfortable enough, but because I have a very flat foot, the tops of my feet don't even touch the strap, which makes it hard to walk. But my biggest concern is that the arch support is not nearly enough. Again, my feet are very flat and atypical, but the sandals feel so flat to me that I might return them.

The left flip flop rubs the top of my foot but the right one fits okay. Probably a “me” issue but it does rub it almost to where it is painful.

Found the length to be just a tad shorter than I remember. I am a true size 13. Hope this does not bode well for future orders.

Not as cushiony as described. Arch support was too focused on one spot for me. Really like the design and look.

Overall these are good quality flip flops, with comfortable toe loop design and sturdy/rugged bottom. They are pretty comfortable for short walks. However, I am used to wearing flip-flops a lot in the summer, and these lack padding to be comfortable on any walk greater than 1 mile. I used to own a pair of Oakley's, back from 2010. There were great to wear all day long. Unfortunately, they have since also changed them to be much less comfortable.

Water Friendly? Ummmm...that's a negative. Keep your feet dry and you'll be fine. I bought these because I can't seem to find my Hurleys in a size 14 any longer. They are pretty comfy, once you get used to the rather broad and long, but not too high, arch support. They seem to be pretty good for wearing around... EXCEPT if you are at a beach, on a boat, at a pool, walking in the rain or anywhere else where your feet will get wet. Hmmmmm... If your feet get wet and you pop these back on, walking in these is like walking on an a slippery wet tile floor with grease on your feet. Kind of defeats the purpose of a flip flop for me. I like the look and feel of them with dry feet, but the lack of traction between my wet, or even damp foot and the surface on these that contacts the plantar surface of my feet makes it a deal breaker for my use...and possibly an ankle breaker too. I am size 13 in every type of footwear, except flip flops. For some reason, I am a 14 in every brand of flip flop. As such, these technically run a full size small, but every other brand I have tried does as well.

Just fit a little big and loose. Look great though.
