Zappos recommended 6.5 in Blundstone. Half sizes indicate wide fit, not length. According to Blundstone, these shoes do not stretch lengthwise and if any parts of the boot will rub in the wrong places like the crown, go the next size up for a slip-on vibe. A forefinger should easily fit in the back of the foot for comfort. I wear 6 Women’s in Frye Harness 12R boots, and the 6.5 women’s Blundstones fit like a glove. The leather is soft, but I am concerned that the 6.5 will cut the back of my feet. You can't re-sole these puppies, so be prepared to realize the sustainability of these boots. They are cute. Take good care of them, so they last a long time.

Rubbed my Achilles tendons. Good boot otherwise.

These were just too stiff and rustic for me in person.

Very uncomfortable and bulky feeling

Only 3 starts because they are half size larger, I wear womens size 8, which was the Aus 5 and that was 1/4 to 1/2 in to long and very wide even with real thick socks. I have decided to return them for an Aus size 4.5

I really wanted these to work, but they were way too wide for me. My feet are on the narrow side of medium and they were swimming in these boots. They felt really sloppy. Cute though. If you have wide feet, these are probably perfect.

They hit on on the back of my calf in an annoying way. Maybe they would break in ok, but also one fits tighter than the other (which is not the case in my other shoes/boots - it's not just my feet!).

I wear shoe size 9.5 US. I followed the instructions and ordered a size 8.5. They feel like a size 8.5, not a 9.5. Way too small. I will be returning these boots.

I have been wearing Blundstone and RM Williams Chelsea boots for many years. Unfortunately, RM Williams have gone couture/boutique and are now too expensive and they only make dress boots and Blundstone has sold out and moved everything to Vietnam so the quality is not near as good as it used to be. While the specs above state "Soft leather lining" that is a false understatement and misleading; the heel and areas you can see with the eye are "Soft leather lining", but once you get into the main part of the boot, there is a cloth or felt lining, not leather, that covers the entire upper of the forefoot. This lining can make the boot hot during the summer months and with previous pairs I have owned, the lining eventually begins to separate from the leather and is not easy to remove. I wish they just left it out. I bought another pair because these boots are great for travel. I was just hoping that with the increased price (these are about $30 more expensive than my last pair), that Blundstone finally moved production back to Tasmania like they try to make you think they are and that they improved the quality. However, I have sent numerous emails and posted numerous times on their facebook page hoping to get information on which models are actually made in Tasmania, but, they never reply. I have paid as much as $400 for RM Williams boots and would be willing to pay more for Bluestones; if the quality was better.

Usually go between 10.5-11. Purchased a size 11 and felt it too big, looked bulky on me so I decided to return it.

Decent construction, but really hard to get a high arch into this boot. Rubs on heel and presses on top of foot too much.

They are ok. I thought they'd be more comfortable from reading the comments. The stiffness of the sole make my plantar fascia sore when walking for a while, as well as the top of my foot. I think they used to look better, less work boot like, maybe it's just an impression. Would expect better quality, softer, less pleathery looking leather for a boot that price. Anyways, still hoping that wear will bring them to where I thought they would be.

These are beautiful boots! However very narrow in the heel area for some reason. And I don't have wide feet.

These would have been great if Zappos would’ve sent the right size! They sent a 51/2 (us 81/2) when it should have been a 6(us 9) too bad they are cute boots

While these are beautiful shoes that I was really hoping would work, they were so uncomfortable - my regular size were too small, so I exchanged for 1/2 size larger, and they were still just too narrow and too short. I could probably try the next size up, but I am not sure I will, but instead I will look for a similar style in a brand I know works for me.

OUCH! I am a set decorator and on my feet for 12+ hours a day. I've tried a ton of boots (too heavy, too stiff, too AWFUL). Aside from one doable pair, I usually end up in tennis shoes. Not cool for lifting heavy props, hiking/climbing on location, constructing, or whatever else I'm thrown on set but still more comfortable than most boots. I couldn't wait to get a pair of Blundstones since i've only heard good things. I wear a 7 but went a half size up so I could use insoles and thicker comfort socks. Tried out my 7.5 US (4.5AU) on an easy prep day and 4 hours in I found myself hobbling around looking for small hand craft tasks I could accomplish while sitting on my butt. Thought maybe they had to be broken in so I tried on the next job (brought shoes to change into this time). Still unbearable! I Really wanted these to be my solution so I tried again and then again. Found myself changing into my nikes by lunch both times. When I first received my pair and tried them on I thought maybe I should have ordered a half size down with all the extra space I had but when I wore them for longer than 4 hours they end up feeling 2 sizes to small! Thick socks, thin socks, insoles, no insoles, how do these not work for me?!

Reading through the sizing instructions I made the mistake of not reading through the reviews. The 7.5 truly felt like a 7 in length, but was plenty wide for my wide feet--if my toes hadn't jammed the front of the shoes. I have reordered the next size up, but I fear they will be too big. Fingers crossed. AND these are NOT LEATHER LINED despite the description. There is a tiny bit of leather in the shaft, but the body of the shoe is lined in a fabric. Zappos--let's get that cleaned up, please?

These shoes are so tight. I would not purchase again, they make my feet fall asleep and are way too narrow

The beds of these boots are completely flat. No arch support. They do give you comfort insert to try but . . . really . . . they are super thin, hard, and no arch support. I really wanted to like these and its hard to believe so many peeps think they are comfortable.

So sad...will never work for my wide feet.

Definitely not true to size.

I chose this boot because I have problems with my feet and I believe it was recommended by Podiatrists. It was way too stiff with no arch support and no flexibility. Returning or may exchange for an UGG boot. I will say this boot was very cute with lots of tread!

My 4th pair of Blunnies. All my others were so comfortable, and I could walk miles in them from day 1. Not this pair! I wore them out for a weekend away where I did lots of walking. I was really glad I brought other boots, because these rubbed the back of my ankles so badly. I've never had this issue with any other Blundstone style. Wish I could return them.

I bet these are great boots, but I had a terrible Zappos experience..! Upon glancing into the generic 'clearly not a Blundstone box' I found I received the 550 in Stout Brown, not the 558 in Black (even though I was charged for the 558). I didn't even take them out and could see dog hair inside. This was an expensive purchase for me. I am getting my money back, ordering elsewhere, and will not be using Zappos in the future.

I am really regretting this purchase. My roommate recommended these shoes but they fit horribly and are incredibly uncomfortable. I have been wearing them for a few hours and I already have painful blisters on my heel. I feel like I just wasted money.
