LOVE my Alex shoes. They fit perfectly and are fabulous on. Hot looking and just plain delicious to wear.

Perfect! I've owned these shoes for 6 months now and have not one complaint about them. They are fabulous, so comfortable and go with just about anything! Being a little on the vertically challenged side I am also loving the height these babies give me.

I keep on eyeing this sandals since April, just received it from mail. Thanks Zappos for upgrading me to VIP for overnight shipping! So beautiful and comfortable. I'm not used to wear 5 inch heel height, but not on this sandals. Yes it's expensive but worth the money.

Yes, these are expensive (well for me they were). Yes, they are the most comfortable sandal I own for the height. I ordered both a 6-1/2 and a 7 based on reviews they ran small. I kept the 7 based on the strap length, but to be honest with you there was barely a difference in the length, an 1/8 inch if any. Did I say they were super comfortable? My only complaint is that there isn't more colors available! How about a white or ivory Stuart? If you are on the fence with these, then buy them! You won't be sorry. Did I say they were super comfortable?

I love these shoes! First of all, Zappos was the only store that wasn't back-ordered or sold out. I've been patiently keeping track on a numerous high end department store websites. The size 5.5 was impossible to find or I had to get on a list. Thanks Zappos! These shoes feel amazingly comfortable. The minute you put them on, they feel broken in, and feels like you've been wearing them for years. Fits very true to size, very light in weight, and the suede insole is an added bonus for that extra comfort and softness. The braided straps are not stiff, it is very soft and doesn't rub on your feet. I have nothing bad to say about these shoes. They are perfect! and obviously I am so pleased with them. I am ordering it in a black color as well. It would be a good investment. If you love shoes, you will love these.

Just got these in the mail today and I love them. Great color will go with anything. The fit is true to size. I bought my normal size and it fit perfect. Did not need to size down like other reviews suggested. They are very comfortable despite the height because the platform is high as well. Expensive shoe, but the quality is great.

Perfect Summer Shoe - PERFECT spring/summer shoe! Swamp color is a perfect neutral that goes with absolutely EVERYTHING! Great with jeans, crop boyfriends, shorts, maxi dresses, summer dresses. Just received a week ago and I wear almost everyday!

If only I could rate it with 10 stars! Just another amazing shoe for my collection (and believe me, I am a true shoe freak). To speak truthfully, it does fit half a size bigger than marked (I am usually 7.5 on pumps and wedges), so I ended up getting 7M: great option for the summer: gorgeous look and they are unbelievably comfy (run all over DC for 10 hours - and no complains)!

This shoe is sold out everywhere so I was lucky to find a 7 1/2 here at Zappos. I read many reviews and there seemed to be a constant argument on sizing (either true to size or ran 1/2 size too big). After purchasing these and receiving them today, I can honestly say they are TRUE to size. I wear a 7 1/2 in almost every shoe and these fit perfectly. Overall, a wonderful shoe, great quality, and style. Very happy with them! Zappos is also a great company to buy from. Great customer service and return policy. They upgraded my standard shipping to 2 day at NO cost as well!

Size - This is a great comfortable shoe! It does run a half size larger.

This shoe looks fabulous and feels comfy. I usually wear a 7 but felt that my heel came right to the edge so might go half a size up. Only warning is re the ankle strap - I have narrow ankles and was able to buckle the strap on the last hole. I can't imagine this working on anyone who did not have skinny ankles. Other than that I am excited to wear them this spring/summer!

Many people are saying these shoes are not true to size and order a half size smaller (meaning they run big) not true! I wound up with shoes that are too small! These shoes are true to size. When I re-ordered the size I normally wear they fit perfectly! If you have big ankles, you may have trouble with the straps. My ankles are average, I'd say, and I can barely get the straps hooked.

I ordered and returned this shoe, in ivory and swamp, and while both colors are fabulous neutrals, if you have a small foot (me 6 1/2) and are over 30, 4" is just too high. Comfortable/well made - doesn't matter - there's just no room for incline. The model's foot in the video of this shoe sits entirely different than mine did. One inch lower would've been good for all.

Okay, this is the first time that I am writing a review of a shoe, but after reading the other reviews, I felt that I had to. I have owned many pairs of high heels in the past and have come to realize that, although they just are not going to be as comfortable as sneakers to walk around in, the comfort level really depends on the shoe itself, not just the heel height. True, this shoe is 5 inches (4 inches, really, with the 1 inch platform), but the part that I found uncomfortable was the strap going across my toes. They are lined in leather, but they chafed the top of my toes almost immediately upon wearing. Although I love the look of this sandal - and was really looking forward to receiving this in the mail - I cannot wear it all day, especially if I am going to be on my feet walking around. If so, I have to pack another pair of shoes so I can put those on instead when my feet start screaming. So, why did I keep these? Because they really are super cute, and sometimes beauty hurts! Judging on the other reviews, I am clearly in the minority, and perhaps it really depends on the person; just don't say I didn't warn you!

Color snafu... Was in the market for a casual summer wedge and this one looked to fit the bill. Love the nice high heel, and the best thing of all about this shoe is the big, gold-toned buckle - a great detail and very luxe. However, the thick strap across the ankle cuts off the line of the leg unless it really matches your skin tone. The ivory is too pale for summer legs (and would be dirty very quickly), and the brown color is truly brown, so unless you have lots of color, it will be too dark to match and cut off the leg in an unflattering way. Fine if you plan to wear them with pants, but I was disappointed. Also realized that these are quite overpriced for what they are, especially since they are not even leather (although in fairness, the crocheted portions and footbed are lined with leather). Ran true to size. These are going back, and the hunt for the perfect summer espadrille continues!

So shocked no else has seemed to say this or have this problem but I could not keep these shoes on. My foot kept slipping out (as in my toes would come over the top of the strap) of the toe and almost made me fall and they were totally my size. So weird. I do not recommend these shoes.

Not wide at all. I thought it was great to have the option of a wide width. Not only is it not wide at all, but the strap is not high enough off the sole of the shoe to fit your toes.

Don't even think about this unless you have sparrow ankles. There are 7 holes on this strap and I could just about get them fastened on the first one! Other than that, they were a little narrow across the toes. I personally think the swamp color looks a bit dirty, too.

I very much wanted to keep these but the strap around the ankle did not go all the way around for me so I could not buckle it. That was such a shame since they are so cute!

A beautiful shoe with a sexy wrap and heel. I wore them out to lunch and did very little walking but the the black material of the ankle wrap stained my ankles and my clothes. I didn't think that was a big deal, but then I noticed that the espadrille material in the back heel is coming unraveled. After only one light use! I would love to keep them, but they do not seem up to par with Stuart Weitzman quality and are too expensive to be falling apart after one light use. I am returning.

I love this shoe. I purchased them in black for a trip to Chicago. They are so cute and quite comfortable considering the heel height. I walked all over the city in them as they are pretty sturdy and feel slightly cushioned as well. I know you can find "like" product for less money but Stewart Weitzman shoes have great quality and workmanship. Worth the money in my mind. I'm glad I did not order a smaller size because I found these to be true to size - exactly.
