I love the style. I just wanted solid leather shoes with a thick sole that come in women's wide width, just like this. I do not need the steel toes, but these shoes were the only ones that I found on Zappos that were solid leather with a thick sole. It turns out that the steel toes are not comfortable, so I returned them. Too bad. I wished they would make these without the steel toes. I would buy them in an instant.

Awesome leather. The steel toe is overkill for my purposes, and makes the shoe heavier than I'd like. Alas, the 7-wide is not wide enough. I'm looking for replacement for my discontinued leather Rockport World Tour size 6.5W -- I've owned several pairs in the past decade. These seemed like a good try. I don't have crazy wide feet, and sometimes I even wear regular width shoes. In these shoes, my foot strained at the sides and were not fully supported by the sole. I'd love them if they were truly wide and had a soft toe.

I wear a 9 in most shoes, and often have trouble with my pinky toes not having enough room, so I ordered the 9W. Perfect fit, wonderful shoe - until I walked around and found they rub my heels. The shoe is stiff, so no amount of breaking in would fix this.

I was so eager to love these in every aspect. The style and color are exactly as pictured. However they are very heavy. By the end of my 10 hr shift of wearing these my legs and feet were seriously fatigued and hurt. Also they have zero breathability so your feet get hot and sweaty.

I feel like I have cinderblocks tied to my feet wearing these. I would not say they are comfortable like a gel like cushion. Being on my feet in these boots in an 11 hour shift will cause more feet cramps.

Alert for new Amazon employees!!!! If this is your first ever warehouse job, please think carefully before getting this shoes. It hurt my feet really bad. This shoes are good for those who are used to walking back and forth 10 hour shift. This is definitely not for newbies like us. This shoes are super heavy. Not a good choice. Get something with memory foam, that will do much better.

The shoe is nice looking, and leather is durable. However I got my normal size and it seemed about a half size too big. Exchanged them. The exchange was seemless! Thank you Zappos!!

I work outside and am on my feet all day. I was wearing hiking shoe/sneakers but the last pair I got weren't very comfortable so I thought i would try something different. The Timberland shoes were comfortable right away but i find them too heavy and my feet and legs get tired in them. I will not buy another pair.

I bought these because I needed safety-toed shoes for work and they cover shoes up to $100. They are good quality construction, but they have no arch support. I have to use inserts, and it is still not enough to be comfortable. Also, they are difficult to tie tightly enough to be secure, but no so tight as to feel uncomfortable. They run a bit big for length, but a bit small for width. They do stretch some, but they are still on the narrow side. Traction is good. Overall, I wish I had been more choosy and returned these.

Ordered this product for my wife as the boot she likes (Women's Waterproof Nellie Chukka Double)is always "out of stock." This boot was uncomfortable for her.

First time trying out timberland work shoes, worst shoe I have ever worn. I work in a factory on my concrete for 10 hours. By the end of the day my feet hurt so bad I can barely walk to my car. I will NEVER by timberland shoes again. I prefer keens any day. I will be going back to keens work shoes.

These were comfortable at first but with the alloy toe we're very heavy. Too heavy for my foot. I would have returned them but a friend asked to buy them and was very happy with them. At least they went to a good home!

If I could give 0 stars I would. These were the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. I work 12 hour shifts at a motor manufacturing facility as a production operator and by the 6th hour my feet were throbbing. It was like I was walking on solid concrete. It was HORRIBLE. I'm thankful I brought my other work shoes. I don't know if I could have stood or walked much longer. I will NEVER buy another pair of shoes from this company.

These were so flat inside that they triggered an ongoing case (talking 2 years later) of plantar fasciitis. I held onto them as a back up pair of work boots, but I hope I never have to wear them again honestly. They were that bad.
I'd also recommend:
Anything but these.

I was so excited for my steel toe shoes. I had to go home half way through my shift because my feet were in so much pain. I had blisters covering my heels. I tried switching out insoles and using heel cushions but it didn't help . I wear a 7.5 which I ordered. The width felt normal but I could push my foot all the way forward and get a finger in behind my heel. Wore thicker socks. It didn't help. Just standing in them was painful. You'll need a new insole.

Feels like you are walking without any insoles. Changed the insoles and still feels the same way.. Tried communicating with Timberland and no response. Will never buy Timberland again

I wear these to work only, they wear out to quick! The stitching on the front popped and now there are two holes at the front lace area on both. The inner heel area, the back mesh wears out, exposing a cardboard support. This all happen within 6-9 months of owning of this pro footwear. After that I started to wear my normal timberland boots to work. IT A DISAPPOINTMENT to the pro timberland line/brand, where it is made for work environment but can't handle it. My regular Timberland street boots, I wear almost everyday can handle the extreme. Timberland has disappoint me, I mostly buy all my footwear from them, now I feels like they have cheapen their product down. Incase you're buying them, they are tight so you have to break them in. It took a month of the shoe to be comfortable.
