Comfy right out of the box! Great shock absorption, wide toe good box, lots of wiggle room. Grippy outsole. I bought them half size larger just because that is what i always do for racquet sport shoes.

I just recently started playing tennis and these are my first pair of "real" tennis shoes. I love them. They look so cool (and a little intimidating) and I love the black. They are very comfortable and true to fit. I feel stable on the court in these shoes. I did slip the other day, but there was pollen all over the court so I think that caused it. I totally recommend these.

Great tennis sneaker. Much more comfortable than the New Balance Tennis shoe that I purchased at the same time. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

These shoes are the best if you have wide feet or bunions!

This is a nice looking shoe but the back area dug into my heel making them rather uncomfortable. Maybe after a period of wear this would soften but I like comfort right out of the box. I wear a 10 to 10 1/2 in most shoes. The 11 in these was a little too roomy in the toe but the 10 would have been too small. No half sizes where available.

Feels snug at first, but stretches a lot. Don't be fooled into going a size up. Very comfortable but heavy and a bit wide. Breathable, but black is still hot.

These shoes are a disappointment, not as cushioned as my old Asics gel tennis shoes that I am trying to replace. Feel flat, little arch support, the toe box is nice and wide but not much else to get excited about.

This is my first actual "Tennis" shoe that I've used. I was looking for a shoe to provide stability and support for the supination in both my feet. I got the opportunity to try to Adidas Barricade 7, which is a great shoe, but runs narrow for my feet. So the salesman recommended the T22. Although it wasn't my first choice, I was sold when I tried them on. They are plenty wide, they lace up nice and snug, and really do provide the support for lateral movement on the court without the fear of rolling an ankle. This really is a great shoe; I am very pleased with it!

Simply awesome shoes. Nice wide, round toe box. Thickest, most resilient insoles I've ever seen. Perfect for hard court and paddle tennis. If only they had zero "toe spring" they'd be the perfect shoe.

I got these as replacements for the Scream series that is not being made now. They are a little stiffer but after one wearing are nicely broken in. They have a wide toe box, and great cushioning. I love the color - they comes with two pairs of laces (One fuchsia!) They are very comfortable.

Fun color combo. This shoe is great for my foot. Good cushioning, arch and ankle support. Toe box and width are generous which is very helpful for my foot. Like the mesh rather than all leather. As always, pleased with Zappos.

I finally found a good shoe for when I play tennis. I have plantar fasciitis and with my orthotics inserted, these provide the support I need.

Comfortable. No break in needed. True to size. Didn't think I would like the color but it's fun.

These arrived just in time for an evening match which upon arrival I realized was on clay. These shoes did not disappoint. Super stable yet flexible. They came out of the box feeling like completely natural foot support. No need to break in. I have had foot and ankle problems on the court throughout my life, and not once did I worry about my feet in these. Total security. Awesome investment!

The Prince T22 medium width is as wide as a New Balance D-width, which is perfect for me. It might be a little clunky-looking. It is a little stiff the first couple of times, but breaks in nicely. Stays snug, good support and stability.
I'd also recommend:

Trying to replace my beloved QT Scream Lows which are no longer made. This shoe seems comparable but runs bigger; I am going to try a half size smaller than what I've worn in the older shoe.

I have worn this shoe for two years now for both tennis and platform tennis (paddle). It is comfortable right out of the box. I always order a half size up for the extra toe length. The toe box on this shoe is a little on the wide side which I like as well. It is a bulkier shoe than some tennis shoes out now, but again, I like that and the support it provides.

I play tennis 3 times a week and love this shoe, because it runs wider than most. I like to order a half size bigger than my street shoes, so that I don't crush my toes on short stops on the court.

Got shoes, look great, well constructed but because of nice rounded toe area they run 1/2 size too big. Returned for smaller size.

While I really wanted to like these shoes, my toes hated them! The bottoms of my toes hurt, the sides of my pinky toes hurt, and my toe nails hurt. They were not as comfortable as the Wilsons I have been wearing for the last 3 years. I returned them.

Oh, how I wanted to love these. I've been wearing Adidas Barricades, which have been terrific, but so many of the pals I play tennis with love the Princes and the hype is that they have arch support, are wide enough, and need no breaking in. Just wanted to try them since they inspire so much love. Sadly, disappointed. They were just slightly too large (and I wear a consistent size 9) but when I laced up super tight, I started getting hot spots on my feet. They just felt too heavy (heavier than Adidas) and too sticky (that may have been the weird court I tried them on). Anyway, as a result, I got my little knee torque back again and just didn't want to chance it. The Adidas have been awesome. I should have known not to change a great thing. Sorry, Princes -- I loved your color, cut, design, and hype. But you didn't work for me. Had to return. Thanks once again to Zappos for being so great about shipping both ways. I adore Zappos and will continue to use them forever!
