Getting the right fit is the key with Mephisto. All sizing is metric and it is hard to size their products correctly. Workmanship and materials are excellent. Once you have your size, the toe box has ample room for a thin to medium weight sock. The insole provides for some cooling effect, but this shoe is not recommended for summer wear. The styling is a bit weak! The price is a bit steep!

Very comfortable shoe, for most people. Soft, nappa leathers, good heel cushioning. I would keep the pair of shoes, BUT, I have neuropathy in my feet (nerve pain) and the shoe has great padding in the heel but much less in the ball of the foot, where my pain is felt most. The cantilever action of the higher heel puts additional pressure on the balls of my feet, so I unfortunately cannot wear these in comfort.

Very comfortable, and very stylish. As long as you get it in the right size. I had to send back two pairs before I got the right fit. If your feet are anything like mine, you'll probably want to order the Mephisto Bonito about half a size small. Once you get it right. It's a nice-looking, really comfortable shoe.

These shoes are comfortable. Where they are lacking is quality of the leather to hold the dye. In < 2 months the leather is showing wear with dye wearing off in a variety of places. Compared to some Ecco's purchased at the same time for a 1/2 to 1/3 the price, the Ecco's are not showing any signs of wear.

Have only tried these on, but they feel fine. I have several other pair of this brand, and my experience has been that they need a little breaking in. Otherwise, they keep getting more comfortable the longer you wear them.

They look amazing, but the dye runs out of them and they scuff really fast. They are not very comfortable when walking on them a lot (3+ miles and my feet are sore and callused.) These should be WAY better for the price.
