Want to add to the reviews that helped me chose this special occasion shoe. I have bunions and this shoe still looks great and more importantly is so comfortable! Can't wait to wear it to my niece's wedding and dance the night away. Also as others recommended I ordered a half size larger and it was a perfect fit. And thanks Zappos for the great service and free return shipping of the 2 other shoes I ordered "just in case" this favorite style didn't work. A great shopping experience!

Love this shoe! I have very difficult feet to fit as I have bunions and my big toes are starting to pronate, but this shoe fits and is extremely comfortable. Looking forward to wearing them for my wedding.

These shoes are super comfortable. I'm 28 years old and was a 4 inch heel kinda girl until I was in a car accident and wrecked my neck and back. So no more big beautiful heels, and that absolutely sucks. I wore these when I was a bridesmaid last month and they got me through the whole day and night. The other bridesmaids had to change their shoes after the ceremony, but I wore mine until the last dance.

The Modesta is such a great sandal. I've had my pair for a couple of years now. The silver is fabulous for spring/summer, goes so well with anything, I end up wearing mine 2-3 days a week. Good heel, not tall but not dowdy either. The sole is leather, so you may want to invest in non-skid protectors. The sandal is comfortable within reason, I would not suggest long walks in them but your feet should hold up quite well throughout the day in them.

These shoes were originally purchased in silver to wear to my son's wedding. After running around all day and dancing all night, I realized I never once thought about my feet. They are simply the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever worn. Since then, I have purchased them in every color available. The wide size seemed to fit better, the kitten heel is perfect height, and the leather sole is luxurious. Best of all my feet look beautiful and feel wonderful while wearing these lovely shoes.

I have these shoes in black patent and gold also. They are very comfortable. I can dance in them and stand all night at a reception with no problem.

I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes. First off, the gold isn't as shiny as pictured (which is a plus in my opinion). They have a simple, modern design. Also, they were incredibly comfortable after wearing all day for a wedding ceremony and pictures, and all night for the party. I would highly recommend.

These shoes are gorgeous and very flattering to my foot. I was able to wear them right out of the box and my feet were fine all night. They fit well and the strap around my heel stayed up with no problem. I love them.

I purchased these shoes for my son's upcoming wedding. Some of the other gold shoes I ordered were a garish and cheap looking. These, however, are elegant looking and comfortable with a not-too-high heel. I plan to dance the night away in them. As always, Zappos delivered great service and was a pleasure to deal with.

I purchased these shoes at the last minute hoping they would fit and be comfortable to wear at my daughter's wedding. I had ordered some shoes from a major department store and they were a big disappointment. Too tight and wrong color! I had walked the malls looking for shoes with no luck. These Vaneli shoes were the best purchase I ever made. They fit beautifully, very comfortable to dance in and very stylish. I never thought about my feet once during the whole evening while all the young bridesmaids were groaning about their feet.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I needed a wide dressy shoe with a sole good for dancing and this shoe is perfect. I have had foot surgery and found this shoe to be comfortable enough to wear for several hours at dressy functions. Highly recommend.

Pretty shoes. Comfortable when I put them on - totally painful at the end of the evening. It took my feet 4 days to recover. Seriously. I have a chubby foot and would have purchased this shoe in a wide but it wasn't available. Still, the material is synthetic and it doesn't give at all. I would have returned them if possible. Have only worn them once. Who knows if I'll wear them again.

These shoes are fabulous. They made my 9 1/2 N sized feet look small! Really a pretty shoe and as far as a heel goes, quite comfortable!

Not as shining gold as pictured...giving them a very tasteful appearance. I did get a half size lager. I took them on a cruise and they looked great day and night. They felt very comfortable as well.

It's hard to find attractive shoes in narrow widths. I had never purchased Vaneli and was happily surprised with the quality. They are comfortable and I like that there is a buckle for making the heel fit well. I usually wear a 9 AAA but ordered a 9 1/2 and that was a good choice.

Purchased these for a cruise and was not disappointed. Color is not bright and in some light even looks silver, that's okay. Very comfortable. They worked fine for my purpose.

This shoe worked beautifully at a wedding and reception. Danced all night and never had to take them off!

I wear a 51/2, shoe was true to size for a small foot. Heels was a little lower than expected. Lovely summer shoe.

Bought these shoes for a September wedding so have only worn them around the house to break them in. They are beautiful! I have great difficulty finding shoes that fit!
