I really liked these sandals, but I had to return them because they made and airy squeak/swish when I walked in them. I am wondering if this is by design or if mine were just defective. Other than the noise they made when walking in them, they were very comfortable and stylish. They were dressy enough to wear to work or a night out and also casual enough to wear around the house. Very versatile.

Very comfortable, pretty. I am keeping these sandals, but FYI, they make a puff-of-air sound as you walk. I am hoping that will go away as they get more worn, because my office environment is very quiet! I Googled this sound effect and found 3 other people who reported it on another site. But I still love the shoes and intend to keep them. 4 stars is only because of the puff of air syndrome.

Price is right! For the price, these sandals are great. I only gave 4 stars because there is minimal arch support. I think they do run a tad bit small... As always, Zappos did a tremendous job!

I like these sandals. They are casual, but a little nicer than tennis shoes or flip flops. Only one problem: the right shoe makes a hissing sound when I step. Weird!

Lo-o-o-o-ong Toe Bed! I do have short-ish toes, but these shoes were set up very strangely for my feet. The front strap was way too far from my toes... like at least a half inch before my toes even began! So I felt like I was going to slip straight out the front. Not recommended for narrow feet! Or short toes! Everyone else is super lucky because these are very, very cute.

Not the Same Old Shoe - I have worn these shoes before, and was excited to see them again. They are not the same old shoe, however. They are made of thinner leather, and are just skimpier and less comfortable than they were many years ago.

Think twice before you buy this shoe - I received the shoes on Thursday, April 23. Wore them around the house to make sure they were comfortable. Put them on today to go to work and the back strap came undone while I was sitting on the train! Luckily, I always have an extra pair of shoes at work. For the price, I expected the shoe to last more than four days. It's a very cute shoe, but I can't give it a higher rating considering the shoddy material used. Other stores make a sturdier shoe than this. I'm so angry that I had to lose my money this way.

Unbelievably comfortable and sturdy! SIZING: although my feet are not wide, they are definitely not narrow and I felt these shoes fit perfectly on both width and length. From a styling standpoint, these aren't going to win any fashion awards. This said, I did give these a 4 stars rather than a lower score because my concern when ordering was that these Bass shoes would look too orthopedic - but ultimately it is possible to wear as a more youthful look if you are careful with what you pair them with and have a great pedicure.

The shoes arrived promptly. I haven't had a chance to wear them, but just trying them on, they fit perfectly and felt as soft as butter. I think they will be ok. I have a hammer toe which makes finding a comfortable shoe difficult. After I've worn them several times, I will know better how to rate them.

I had a Bass sandal like this many years ago. I loved them and wore them until they wore out! (took several years) I have a picture of me wearing them and always wishes I could find another pair as good. These remind me of those first ones--very comfy, adjustable straps, go with everything sandal. Love them again and hope they will last as long as the first ones did!

Great pair of everyday sandals. Can wear them to work and events. Definitely would buy them again.

Bass is a reputable brand, and the cushioned sole was exactly what I needed. Zappos offered the style and size I wanted at a reasonable price.

Very comfortable shoe. I find that the tighter you pull the straps the more secure they feel. I'm ordering my mother a pair.

So I've only been wearing these a few hours, but so far they might be the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn -- the pillowy, suede-like insole is my favorite feature of the Bass Sunjun line. I've been wearing the Bass Margie sandal for a few years, and while it's pretty comfortable, I do have to squeeze my toes in and mess with the placement of the straps while I break them in. I don't think that will be a problem with this style. I have very wide toes and a very narrow heel, so finding sandals that fit is almost impossible. I love that I can adjust both the ankle and foot straps, so that I really do have a perfect fit. Also, I live in a city that requires a lot of walking, and it's great to find a cute sandal that works for my lifestyle. So for those of you with "challenging" feet like mine, I would highly recommend giving these a try.

I love these shoes. This style is a forever one. They are comfy and easy on the feet and back. Wish it came in a wider width. Had to go a size larger to get the width I needed to fit.

Our daughter has narrow heels and long feet for her age (now 12). She is now wearing her third pair of these sandals, for the third summer in a row. We have tried many other styles, but have always come back to these sandals. Basic, yes, but also perfect.

The third pair of white sandals I ordered and this one's a keeper. Comfortable, half the price of others. Have ordered also in black and red. You find something good, you've gotta jump on it!

This sandal remains a favorite. Comfortable. Consistent sizing from year to year. I generally wear an 8 WW in a sandal or sling back shoe, but with the Bass Joanne an 8 W fits me better. As usual excellent Zappos service.

I have very wide feet so it's very hard for me to find shoes other than athletic shoes that fit. I bought these in a size 6 the widest size they sold for a cruise we were going on. When they came I was afraid that they wouldn't fit. When I tried them on they felt amazing and the leather was so soft. No pinching or forcing my feet to break them in. They looked great and felt great! Great purchase!

These are comfortable. I have skinny feet and had to get the shoe repair folks to add another hole in the straps.
