Finally found a pair of rain boots to fit my wide calves. Took a lot of trial and error but I really like the fit of these boots and they're comfortable to wear. I did add some heel insert support which makes it better. Wish it came in other colors. Bonus that the price is more reasonable than Hunter and the like.

Love these boots. Looked everywhere because other boots just did not quit fit in the calf area, just short of ever being able to tuck in my jeans. But not these...they have the adjustable strap that is actually functional and holds exactly where you want it to. My feet come right out of them, which is a plus, other boots seemed to suction cup to my foot and it was tug of war to get out. If you have been looking forever for that perfect boot, look no more, these are the ones. I'm 5'9", 140 lbs. and wear size 9 shoe and bought so I bought a size 9 boot. They're perfect, just enough room for a sock if I desire. They hit just about 2 inches below below my knee.

These boots went with me to the wilderness of Alaska and slogged easily through rivers, bays, mud, and sludge. The solid construction meant that my feet stayed dry. A slightly soft inner lining helps socks slide in and out easily and the styling was cute. With a bit of soap and water, they return quite easily to their white color after some abuse. They fit true to size and the wide calf fit very well. I can rarely ever find a pair of boots that fit so this was a pleasant surprise.

The boots are lined which keeps your feet warm - but does not make your feet hot in the summer. I have thick calves but thin ankles and it's hard to find rain boots. These boots do not buckle like Hunters do and I am really happy with my purchase.

I have had many pairs of rain boots over the years. These are among the most comfortable I've ever owned. Worn them most days during an exceedingly wet summer in Maine and they have been fantastic, even for all-day wear. Highly recommended.

I am a ballerina so I have both very small feet and large calves. I wear a size five women's regularly and this size five fit perfectly. The boots fit well around my calf as well and are adjustable if necessary. I will order another pair if these ever wear out!

I received these boots just in time for hurricane season, and now I wish it would rain every day! That is just how comfortable and waterproof these boots are. Being a girl of tremendous calves, I despaired of ever finding a cute pair of tall boots. These fit wonderfully - skinny jeans fit in them, but they are also comfy with just thick socks (they do run a little large). I forgot my work shoes during a downpour and ended up having to wear these for my 10 hour shift, and they were great all day! The lining is super soft and warm, which is great for when the rest of you is soaked through. Sexy they really are not, but you will feel like a kid again splashing through all the puddles you can find.

Where to begin. First off, the width of these boots was a wonderful surprise. I have wide calves that usually cannot get rainboots halfway up them and feet that make most slender sandals cringe. And these boots fit perfectly. I will say that my mom tried them on and found the toe box to be too narrow, and she varies between a wide and double wide, whereas my toes had plenty of room and I just run wide. The lining inside the boots is soft, though slightly warm (a bonus for me when I move to Boston in the fall, and a downside for when I'll need them through this Georgia summer). Lastly, I gave these boots 4 out of 5 stars on style because they are straight and functional looking, and while they didn't make my feet look huge or ugly, they definitely did not make my legs any slimmer looking. All around I am so happy to have found such a wonderful pair of rain boots. Oh, and I fluctuate between size 7.5 and 8. I ordered an 8 and they are just roomy enough for thick socks!

I got these because I was going to Shaky Knees Music Festival in ATL and I knew it would be cold and rainy the whole weekend. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a pair of rainboots, but I wanted a good, comfortable pair. These were great! My feet were dry, warm, and as comfortable as they can be at a music festival. I will also be taking these to Ireland in November. And of course, Zappos is the bomb.

They are pretty cool boots and good quality. After buying these, I found some much cheaper deals on rainboots at a site called DHgate.com. The boots at that site are cute but not as high quality as these, so I guess it depends on what is important to you. These are also soft on the inside and I like that.

Bought these boots last minute before heading out to a muddy festival. I have a wide calf and these fit fine without having to adjust. If I wanted to tuck pants into the boots, I would have had to adjust the buckle on the side. Didn't need to break them in and they were very comfortable, even though the first times I wore them was for 6 - 9 hours at a time.

Very sturdy boot, wide enough at the top, but not in the middle. I'm just 5' so it might be a better fit on the taller woman with just a little larger calf. The foot was larger than I expected. I wear a 7.5, ordered a 7. Plenty room for a wide width and socks.

I wanted a cool pair of white rain boots to walk my dogs at the park in. I finally found what I was looking for. Something fashionable but not too expensive since they were for the muddy park. I couldn't be happier. These Tretorn boots are wide and comfortable and just perfect for what i need.

Great boot! I have wider calves but these have plenty of room. They are very comfy but definitely run BIG. I am a 7.5 and the size 7 fits with thick socks.

It's great. I followed what other reviewers said and bought a size smaller. I'm debating whether I should have gotten half size or a full size smaller. The only issue is that I'm purchasing from Canada and had to go through the border to pick it up. When purchasing, it never stated when the expected delivery time was until I was given a tracking number. My time is limited because I go to school on the weekends and so couldn't pick it up. This resulted in a fine. If I knew the delivery date, I would have timed my purchase differently so I could pick it up and not be penalized.

Love it, love it, love it, perfect for my wide calf... I have other rain boots and this is that feels roomy.

All the previous reviews are right. These are very nice rubber boots, I have had them now for 3 weeks and wear them everywhere in this end of winter beginning of spring slush and rain. They are spot on for your normal size to wear with medium weight socks. They are well constructed and designed. Other boots I have tried are tight across the bridge of the foot, these are not. The calves have room for tucking in light sweats or jeans. The light lining is enough to keep my feet warm but will not be unbearable in warm weather. Just enough lining to prevent sticking to rubber inside.

I am crazy about these boots - I think I have worn them almost every day for the past month or so! I looked at Hunter Wellies but didn't want to pay that much. I have a bit of a wider calf and these fit great. Very pleased with the fit, look, and quality of these Tretorns. Oh, and they are super comfy!

After trying for months to find the right pair of boots, I wanted to find my Cinderella pair so badly! I read every single review to make sure these were the boots for me. And I'm glad I did. They are an awesome boot. All reviews were accurate; fit slightly large (if you're a seven, get a 7, etc.), wide calf so jeans, pants, even my LuLu's can be tucked in, and look good (I get a lot of compliments on them and asked where I got them). My pair make a slight squeaking noise, not sure if all pairs would, maybe I just got lucky, but despite the squeak, I still love them and get excited when it rains! Great boot!

I've been searching for rain boots for my daughter for months. She has large athletic calves (16.5"). She is 6' tall and wears a size 11. I have ordered many boots. None have fit her calves even if the sizing appears as if it would. These worked! She loves them and uses them often. Her college is in a very rainy area. Yea! Problem solved.

These boots fit great. I don't have large calves but many styles run narrow. Friends have other brands that don't adjust and run very narrow so they are hard to fit over leggings. These are very comfortable and adjustable.

This is a high quality boot made of solid material. If your calves are quite wide, you may wish to find a larger opening for them. My calves are right on the edge of fitting in. No doubt that will keep the rain out.

I bought two pairs of these one for myself and one as a gift for my mother. They are easy to get on and off and not tight on calf. They are more comfortable with thick socks but have worn them with thin too. I always get compliments when I wear them, bought the grey boots. The only con to these is the rubber smell they have when you get them. That rubber smell does go away!

I love these boots! I purchased a size nine and I am usually between a nine and nine and a half, depending on the shoe, these fit great! I love that they dont suffocate my feet. They are nice and warm and I dont have to wear paper thin socks with them. The side strap is also great. I really liked the look of these. I originally wanted a pair of Hunters, but after reading some of the review It seemed like youre just paying top dollar for a name. I am really glad I went with these!
