This is a beautiful sandal. Birkenstock sandals make my arches hurt until a “break in” period is over. Sometimes when my tendons are hurting, I am absolutely unable to wear them. If I didn’t have any issues with my arch tendons, I would love these sandals with all my heart.

I bought these in the Habana Oiled Leather color before going to college and I absolutely love them. I wear them literally every single day and they are super comfortable, especially for walking to my classes. I've had them for a little over 3 months now, I wear them almost every day and they're still in really good condition! I did order them in a size up than I usually wear.

I love the Yara! I recently purchased my first pair of Birkenstocks (Florida Soft Footbed) and I wasn't sure about them. Then, I tried the Yara and they are amazing! They are so comfortable, right out of the box, and I had not hesitation on whether or not I wanted to keep them. Turns out I am NOT a big fan of the soft footbed, so the fact that the Yaras have the original footbed makes a huge difference for me. The ankle strap seems a little strange at first, but I buckled mine as loose as they'll go and that helped a lot. Plus, the leather starts to soften up pretty quickly. Also, I'm a size 8 in regular shoes, have a wide(ish) foot, and a high arch, and the 38s fit my foot perfectly. And, this style is super cute to wear with pretty much anything!

4th pair of Birkenstocks and never disappointed. These are all I wear and I think they are the most comfiest shoes out there.

I love these shoes ! I lived in Germany for a long time so Birkenstock is a go to comfort shoe for me. I wear a size 8-US which doesn't really work with the size chart because every pair of Birkenstocks I own is a 38. I have this particular sandal in Black, Dark Brown and Tobacco. Reading the reviews before I ordered seemed to lean towards needing a larger size which I did originally order but I should have kept with what I know and ordered the 38...Returned...Replaced...Happy Customer times 3 :-) Thank you Zappos for great customer service !

I was never a fan of Birkenstock. But these I thought were really feminine and super stylish. Friends would tell me how comfortable Birks were, so I decided to give them a try. At first I thought, they (my friends) were absolutely crazy! They were not comfortable at all and I couldn’t return them because I had worn them outside. Nonetheless, I continued to wear them, and about a week later I was so happy I did! THE MOST COMFORTABLE SANDALS I’VE EVER OWNED! I Just had to break them in.

I was nervous about sizing because I have wide feet and the reviews said to size down. I decided to stick to my normal size. I am a 9.5/ 10 and ordered a 40. I’m a teacher and on my feet all day. We are also required to have a back strap on our shoes. These fit the bill! I did find the ankle strap to be short but it seems like they will stretch. So happy with these sandals!

My favorite Birks yet!! ?? They’re stylish and were the most comfortable ones I have owned right out the box. Loving the ankle strap. Very in style and a nice option to have for all day walking. Of course it takes that extra second but on the plus side you could wear them on a roller coaster ????? Worth Every Penny! GET THEM!

I love Birkenstocks. I am a size 8 and ordered a 38. They fit great. The leather is stiff but will soften with wear.

These are my first pair of Birkenstock sandals and..I'm hooked. I had moderately flat feet made even flatter by a recent pregnancy and none of my shoes fit like they used to. I heard Birkenstocks offered good arch support but that they'd take a while + a lot of pain to break in and while I find the former true, definitely not the latter. I wore them around the house for a few hours before I wore them out and that was enough. I took the advice given by a lot of people here to order several sizes down and that did NOT work for me. I'm typically between a U.S. 7.5-8 and originally ordered these in a 37 and they were too short. I re-ordered in a 38 and they're perfect! My heel fits well in the heel cup and my toes do not touch the front ridge, with the toe bar landing right where it should. I have small ankles and had to add a couple extra holes to the straps, but now they fit perfectly! I also think they're kind of cute with dresses. LOVE these so much I went and bought a pair to wear in the house (Amsterdams) and I'm eyeing the Gizehs. Uh oh, I think I may have developed a problem :S

Amazing shoe. I'm a 6.5 in shoes but wear a 36 in this.

I have tiny feet. I wear a 6 in most shoes. I ordered a 36 regular width and it was too big. I need a 35, which are really hard to find. Or a 36 narrow. The narrow widths run a little smaller. I’ve tried them on in stores and I definitely need a narrow in the 36 or a 35. Loved this style and the color! I will keep looking and hope I find my size.

Love, love, love. Have started having foot problems. Not with this shoe! Ordered another so I could have one for yardwork and one for good.

These are my first pair of Birks! I love them! At first I wasn't sure which size to buy- because the general fit guide indicates that the heel cup should fit flush with your heel. I order a smaller size and my true size- although the smaller size fit my heel cup and length, it was not wide enough for my foot. My true size seemed a little big at first, but after wearing them around the house I could feel the difference between the two sizes dramatically. Order your typical size- and you too will be in love!

The leather is so soft!!! I thought the toe strap would bug me, but it’s comfortable. No rubbing or blisters anywhere!! The cork is stiff but as you break them in they form to your feet and get easier to walk in. These are super cute with capris, shorts, skirts, etc.

Love these, just like I love all of my Birkenstocks! I’m usually a size 7, but always order size 6 (37) in Birks. Very comfortable, the straps didn’t rub at all, even right out of the box.

I am consistently a size 39...I followed the advice of reviewers (tentatively), and they were right...the 38 is fine even though all my other birkenstocks are 39s.

These shoes were fantastic! I ordered many different sandals in preparation for a trip to Italy, and decided on the Birkenstock Yaras. I have a history of plantar fasciitis, and I also over-pronate. I was able to wear these sandals around most days (walking 5-10 miles) and was very happy with these sandals! The strap was very helpful in keeping the shoe on, which kept any plantar fasciitis issues from arising. They look very cute as well, not the typical birkenstocks you see on everybody else. Would highly recommend!

Love these and all of my Birkenstocks! Comfortable right out of the box. As with most Birks that I have, I size down.
