I typically buy the wider footbed Birkenstocks, but wanted this style. It works well for my wife gore foot, high arch. Heel cup and arch support offer good relief from my plantar fasciitis. The ankle strap is comfortable. And they are CUTE!

I normally wear a 6 to 61/2 so that is what I ordered at first. It was way to big. Ordered the 5 to 51/2 and they fit perfectly! This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. They are comfortable and look to be well made. I am hoping they will last a long time!

I'm really impressed with these. I've never been a Birkenstock girl but I liked this style a lot, so I gave em a try. I wear a size 7 in every shoe so I went with a 38, but they are a tad too big. However, I think if I went down a size they would be too small. The ankle strap is a little big; I have to wear it on the last hole, and the one near the toes doesn't have enough strap to actually tighten it. Overall, great arch support, very comfy, and they get lots of compliments!

Shoes are so cute but... my feet ached after 20 minutes terribly. Not sure I have to get used to them but it’s odd feeling. They go back I guess. Bummer for the summer

I love the style and their very comfortable, which I expected since this is my 4th pair of Birks. However, I ordered the Tobacco color and find it unflattering and shows scuffs and scratched. I exchanging them for the brown pair.

I’ve always worn a 40 in Birkenstock, but after reading the reviews that recommended going a size down and after using Zappos’ size estimator, I ordered a 39. I shouldn’t have...returning for a 40. I’d say these run pretty true to Birkenstock sizing if you’ve ever had other pairs. Cute shoe though, I’m excited to get the correct size!

I am disappointed in the amount of time it took to get these. I ordered them on a Tuesday and they didn't get to me until the following Monday. I used to ordered shoes from here and they would be at my house the next day. That's why I ordered from you. If I wanted to wait 7 days for a pair of shoes I could get them anywhere. This has happened the last 2 times I ordered from here. You need to step up your game Zappos!!

Definitely a whole size, if not a size and a half, larger than expected. Also, the ankle strap hits in front of the ankle—not on the outside of the ankle.

I usually where a 6.5 to 7 and size 37 fit perfect. I gave 4 stars on comfort because the leather is stiff and will need to be broken in. After a few wearings I think they will be good.

These shoes have great foot bed support. They feel slightly narrow for my foot, but once broken in, I don’t think this will be an issue.

First, thank you Zappos for another great service! You never disappoint! The sandals? They are half a size larger. I wear size 7.5 and ordered 38. I returned the 38 and ended up getting 37. They are very comfortable as well as stylish. I didn’t have any problems; no blisters and no break in period. They simply look beautiful. Perfect fit, great style, and an incredible comfort!!!

Worth it! All day comfort and SUPER cute. Very little break in, but I've worn birks in the past. I get lots of compliments on them. Confident they'll keep my feet happy & healthy during our 3-week trip to Spain this summer. If you have fat ankles, these will not fit you. I wear them on the second buckle hole to the end, and they fit perfectly. I have avg to skinny ankles.

I returned these for a smaller size. The oiled leather looks lighter in person than in the picture, and I almost wonder if I was sent the tobacco color as it looks more similar to that. I can tell that with the smaller size, these will be quite a comfortable shoe!

I love these. I wore them all last summer and they just got better with time. The bands add a little extra cuteness. I would say that they run true to size maybe slightly large.

I wear a 6 1/2, so normally I would order a size 37. But after reading all the other reviews I decided to go with a 36. They fit perfect! They’re really comfortable and cute too!

I ordered a size down from my usual birks and they fit perfectly (thankfully I read all of the reviews). They do run 1 whole size larger for some reason.

I LOVE birks and these are no different. I normally wear a 42 and that’s fit just like my others so I’m unsure why the reviews say to size up. Super cute style and would highly recommend!

I read the reviews and opted to buy my normal 38 in Birkenstocks...they came within 24 hours-Thanks Zappos! BUT they are definitely an entire size too large. I had about an inch in the heel. Knowing Birks stretch, I called Zappos and they sent me a 37 which I received in less than 24 hours...again...awesome! Long story short, Zappos rocks and this particular style of Birkenstock runs large, super stylish and of course comfortable!
