I did not receive the correct shoe that I initially ordered. I will definitively not be purchasing from this site again!

I know they say you have to break them in but the insoles are too hard for me. I have plantar fasciitis and I cannot endure the pain to “break them in”.

Can't beat oiled leather Arizona Birks. Whole family lives in them!

My Arizonas started falling apart after less than 3 weeks of not even consistent wear, the leather began separating from the sole near my big toe on the right shoe and there was noticeable glue at other seams (from the start). Absolutely terrible customer service, some of the worst I have experienced. As a former incredibly loyal customer and avid wearer with 3 pairs in my current rotation, I will never purchase Birkenstocks again. Might I suggest a pair of Tevas instead?

Way too narrow at the heel. Very disappointed.

They are gray!!!!

Tobacco color is very rustic. Does not look as good as the picture.

I, wore Mephisto for a number a years and loved them. I, recently purchased this pair and am sadly disappointed and wish I had returned them. Mephisto's, leather is no longer soft and supple but, thick and uncomfortable. I, thought I could break them in and even used leather conditioning in hopes of softening them but, to no avail. I, had purchased another pair, the Helena but, will return these. If, you prefer a soft, supple leather sandal, I, would not recommend Mephisto; especially, if you have thin skin, neuropathy or, any other foot issues that uncomfortable leather would aggravate..

I just opened the box. These shoes were obviously WORN AND RETURNED! I will not purchase from Zappos again!

we had to exchange size but the new size fit perfect. delivery of new berks was so quick. You have awesome return service. customer service high rated!

I love Birkenstock shoes. I had to return for the next size down even though I ordered my regular size. Zappos handled it professionally. I like that you can return for free, get your money back and then reorder the correct size.

Love the shoes but the color on one shoe was mismatched, it looked like two different shades of black and was obvious as the other shoe was normal without one side and the straps being discolored. May try to reorder another pair. Can't believe these made it out the door. :(

Unfortunately, the left shoe has an excessively high cross arch support (just forward of the arch). It was so painful after just 3 to 4 steps that I had to take them off. I have not had this issue with other Birks. So, I am returning these.

Those are my husband favorites, I ordered for his birthday in another site, was a mistake, everything went wrong. I have to returned. I ordered here and Im in love, received pretty fast. Definitely going to shop more at Zappos.

They looked and size as expected. However, the box did not say, "made in Germany", and the packaging (white stuff wrapped around the sandel) was stained in a brown color, and the suede foot bed is much darker than any other Birkenstock I have purchased. Not yet worn, and uncertain how to proceed. I like the light foot bed color in my other birkenstocks, and wonder why these are an exception. I know that colors are not usually true, but the fact is that my 5 and 10 year old (my 25 year old don't count) do not have the dark foot bed color of the recent deliver. What is the problem. NASA, we have a problem

Also, when I got them, the metal parts of the buckle to put in the hole was bent/broken, so I had to use nail clippers to bend it back straight so it would fit in the hole. The larger strap has scratched into my skin. I Googled why they are so uncomfortable, and according to Birkenstock's website, you have to wear them a lot before they get comfortable. Ummm, okay.

These were not a camel color brown as was pictured but a medium to dark brown and were very stiff. Returned and sticking with Mephisto Helen which I find much more comfortable/easier to break in and better arch support.

This color was completely wrong. Much too light and the color was Tan. Hopefully they fix first. I'm going to go buy these in person in a store now instead. Too expensive to try again when it was the right code. Please fix the picture!

The dye from the black oiled leather Arizona comes off on my feet. I've been wearing Birkenstocks consistently since the 1970's, have owned at least a dozen pair, and have never had this problem before. Otherwise, this is the same great shoe I've been wearing for over 30 years.
