These are very handsome shoes. I was tired of looking at the cheap and ugly summer shoes my husband always wears. He said it took a bit to get used to the foot bed (duh! They are actually good shoes) but he really likes them now.

These took about 2 weeks to completely break in, but once they did they felt amazing! I ordered the narrow version and they fit me well. I suggest ordering at least one size down from street shoe size. Thanks for the great service Zappos!

Felt and looked like the "42s" that are stretched out and got too big for me. And this is why I am shopping for Birkies!

Cute color, though not as pink as I would have liked. More wine/purple. I was a little hesitant on ordering the narrow size as my feet are wide in the toebox. My old Arizona's are over 15 years old and so worn in and comfie that these felts quite stiff and almost too narrow. But they fit without chafing and I figured they would stretch a bit. took almost a month of wearing with socks to be more comfortable. Almost returned thinking that the narrow may have been too narrow, but so far it's okay, and I decided to keep.

I was hoping that the unisex sizing would work for me, but sadly the sandals are too wide. Birkenstocks are great, but due to sizing issues I clearly need to stick to the styles for women.

Still breaking them in. According to what I've read, it can take a couple of weeks.

We're not as padded in the insole as previous UGGs I've owned.

I ordered a size 40 regular (with the outlined foot logo) with the traditional footbed. I received a 40 narrow (solid foot logo) with the soft footbed. I did not order the soft footbed because I was trying to avoid that extra plastic. They feel fine though, so I’ll keep them so as not to waste resources returning them for what I ordered. This review is a ding on Zappos only. The shoes are good. I wear an 8.5W (US) or 39 in other shoes and had to size up for these.

Iten arrived broken so I have to return. There was a buckle on the left shoe that was broke. Sizing is a bit off on Birkenstock as I took a 36 as a size 6.

I have a fairly narrow foot and this unfortunately did not work for me. Even though I usually wear this regular size in my other style Birkenstocks the straps did not hold my feet enough in these.

This shoe is labeled as being for a men's 6-6.5 foot. I'm a 6.5, and it's almost too long for me--but close enough that I kept them. Otherwise I'm very happy with the purchase.

lost count the number of Birkenstocks i have owned. always get size 39. never have had a chance to pick narrow or normal width ...this was a new situation. apparently normal ...not narrow but boy are they huge. i will wear them, feel i enjoy more room, instead of having the issue of returning and all that headache. love the color. they will stain your feet with pinkish coloring.

Normally I’m a size 7 wide. Size 38 was too big .

I realize I need a narrow width. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks. Exchanging.

My old Arixona Birks were a 38 narrow, soft footbed. I’m a size 8 and I have narrow feet. While the old Birks were pretty comfortable, my toes always hit the edge and the footbed never really lined up in the right places. This time, I first tried the 38N soft footbed, but was the same all over again. I then tried 39N soft footbed which was entirely too long and big. Even on the last hole my feet were sliding through. I then tried the 38N in the regular footbed, which seems to fit the best. Without the layer of foam, there is a little more length and width. Now I’m slowly breaking them in. My last pair lasted for 5 years and I hope these will too. Thanks to Zappo’s for making the process as easy as possible.

The wide straps are stiff and masculine in appearance.

I liked the shoes, but they arrived with no tags and had obviously been worn before. There were dark toe prints already on the left shoe. Ewwww. I've been trying on Birks in many different stores and have never seen that, even on the display ones. It grossed me out, so I am sending them back. What a hassle.
