I love, LOVE my new Birkenstocks! I have several pairs of Birkenstocks but these are my first Arizona's. I was worried that the leather would take some breaking in time, but that was not the case. They were perfect from the very first step. I've got wide feet and a bunion so comfort is everything to me. These did not disappoint!

After several tries, I got the perfect pair of Birks. This pair was stiff, the leather a bit biting at first, but loosening the buckles a notch accommodated light socks and they molded perfectly to my feet in a couple days. The first pair I got was regular width and far too wide. They seemed big all over. I typically wear a wide so this was surprising. I tried the soft footbed version in narrow one size down, but found it not as supportive and a tad short. The next pair was my usual size in narrow, but these were wide from having been worn a lot and the footbed was molded to someone else’s foot. These had softer leather with a nice color variation, less monochrome, but they weren’t going to mold to my foot, having already been broken in around the house by whoever returned them. I love Zappos return policy, but it was annoying to get purportedly new sandals in a generic box, with no markings of size or style. I hung onto them until I got the final pair. Again a generic, unmarked box, but clearly this pair was new, not stretched out and stiff as a board. Same markings on the sandal as the prior pair so I felt confident the final pair were the right size and style, just not broken in. Even if you wear a wide in a woman’s shoe, consider getting the narrow as your first choice. I found I had room to loosen them for wearing socks and after breaking them in, I could notch them down one for a snug, comfortable fit, without putting them on the tightest notch. If they stretch a bit over time, there’s room for adjustment. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase.

This is the pair of Birkenstocks you want to always have around when the weather is decent. The oiled leather is rustic but not too much so, which means you can wear certain skirts with it. Where I live, women of all ages wear these all the time. I would add that the color and tone are flattering to pale skin, not quite the case with black or dark brown.

My first time ordering the unisex version of these shoes. I kept the same size I had ordered in the Women's shoes (37) but went with the narrower footbed and it fit perfectly out of the box. I have the straps buckled tighter than I thought, but they feel great and have been breaking in very, very easily. I agree with the other reviewer that I find adding 30 to my regular shoe size works better for me than adding 31, even though the higher size is technically the equivalent. As usual I love these Birks and can't wait for an excuse to have a few more pairs.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday and he loves them. He usually wore the suede leather version, but he likes these oiled leather ones just as much!

I’m glad that I followed the description and ordered a narrow. My feet are slender so all regulars that I had previously tried on in stores were not comfortable and felt bulky. My new favorite sandals!

bought for my granddaughter b/c hers had been worn to the ground - she loves this style - very clear she wanted another pair just like the old ones.......began to wear them right out of the box. Very happy young lady!

Love these! I've had 3 pair of Birks and loved them all. The support is great, especially for my higher arches and this slip on style is so easy to wear with many different things.

This color, this texture is the one that blends in best with fair-skinned people who like their footing to be a little more subtle. The shading of this particular tone of leather makes discoloring with time irrelevant, unlike with some other tones (mostly monotone).

Love these; will continue to replace as needed forever and ever ??

These fit great! The color is a deep chestnut brown and isn’t black brown but more of a dark, dark red brown. I ordered a half size larger than my normal size and they fit perfectly!

These replaced a pair of Birkenstock Arizonas I wore and loved for over 10 years. I bought the old pair at an authorized Birkenstock dealer, so they were professionally sized. I bought the same size this time around and couldn’t be happier. I wish I could live in these excellent, comfortable sandals year-round.

Fit as expected! I have worn this shoe for years, and they are always comfortable and supportive. They also last forever!

Use the reccomended Brikinstock size chart as is it got my size eaxactly the first time. I am not going to lie, but they will take a couple of wears to break them in. Afterwards they feel like clouds!

I usually wear a 6.5, I ordered a 36, which is a size smaller than what would be the normal. The black leather stained the tops of me feet terribly the first time I wore them for a quick errand, but it seems to improve as I wear them more. Overall, as expected & zappos delivered quick and easy as always.

This is my second pair of Birkenstocks. I purchased the Florida soft footbed last year - thought it would be easier to adjust to and it was. This year I wanted the Arizonas, but wanted to try the traditional footbed. After much trial and error in finding the right size, the 37 regular worked for me (in the Florida I take a size 38). I take a 7.5 wide in shoes. It may be that the Arizona is a unisex sandal that I needed the smaller size or that the softbed takes up some room. I find the traditional footbed to be as comfortable as the soft footbed and I am having no issue in breaking them in. I feel the traditional footbed feels lighter on my feet. The Habana oil leather is gorgeous and I do like leather better than the synthetic material. Loving my Birkentstocks and wish I had tried them a lot sooner. Thanks Zappos for your great service!

I normally wear size 8 or 8.5, but always buy Birkenstocks in a size 38, which they translate to size 7-7.5. I've tried size 39, and could wear them, but 38 is best for me. My feet are narrow at the heel, but wide at the toes, and the adjustable straps make for a perfect fit. Birkenstocks help me tremendously with keeping my posture healthy: if my knees or lower back ever feel cranky, the Birkenstock sole helps straighten me out. I'm so thankful to have discovered this during my first pregnancy when I was on my feet a lot at work. The Arizona Tobacco leather is a lovely color, though I think I'll like them best after they are worn in a bit. They come with a faux-antiquated finish. I may give them a basic shoeshine to subdue the faux finish.

These are the best classic Birkenstock’s. I’ve tried other styles and they don’t compare in comfort — these really do mold to your feet and don’t give you blisters once they’re broken in. For me, the break in period on this style is just a few wears and then they’re good to go.
