I deliberated several months before purchasing because I wanted to be sure before I made the investment. I got my first shipment super fast. Even though I'd measured, I felt the sandals were just a tad too short. It was so simple to process an exchange, and I got the second shipment super fast as well. They are everything I wanted them to be. Great quality and with Zappos, I knew I could trust they weren't dupes. I'm very happy with them!

They are never stylish but Birks help my feet feel better so I will always purchase them. My last pair finally wore out after many miles and quite a few years. I have wide feet so I get the “normal” width and they break in to fit me perfectly.

I am female and a standard 39 in most european shoes, 8.5 Medium width in American, 6.5 in UK and Ireland. I bought a 39 narrow in the mauve oiled leather unisex. These oiled shoes can show uneven color tone. I missed that disclaimer mentioned below main description. See outside of shoe sides in picture. I was sure I was going to send them back. Once you put them on your feet though its a bit like saying no to a puppy! They feel great! They don't wear like boats as the did in the past. A good fit and a comfortable arch support.

Love the color of these sandals!! As always, Birkenstocks have comfort down. It took a day to break in the strap at the toes but they're all good now!

These sandals are as comfortable as I have come to expect from Birkenstock; however, the leather is stiffer than I was expecting. There is a break-in period with these shoes.

My first pair of Birkenstocks - I know it will take some time for them to be broken in and comfortable. We'll see....

Fit and size were perfect. Unfortunately, the arch support didn't work with my own arch. Return process was exceedingly easy.

Fabulous shoes! I have two pairs myself and was so excited to purchase a pair for my kids as well. They are comfortable and are such a step up in looks from regular flip flops. The oiled leather looks rich and lasts much better than the suede ones. Also I like the regular footbed 100x more than the soft footbed. I feel that the soft footbed wears out much faster. You will not regret this purchase!

The size was great and they felt true to size The size was great and as always Birkenstocks fit like a glove but I want a darker color so I am returning these.

This is my third identical pair since 1991. The first two lasted about 15, yes fifteen, years each. These are now four years old and show some dirt, but no wear. The soles are intact. The leather is intact. Not so a competitive look-alike that is only 18 Months old. I recently washed them with saddle soap and applied neatsfoot to them, so the appearance has been renewed. Great sandals. really.
