Shoe runs smaller than expected! But don't let that scare you. Seriously, this is the best pair of sandals/flip flops I've ever owned. I've been wearing the Smoothy for many, many years now and have owned about six identical pairs now over the years. I've had all kinds of sandals, from the cheap-y convenience store kind to the more expensive Chaco kind, and the Reef Smoothy is the one I always come back to. Incredibly comfortable, even for wearing all day long, all year long. Sizing tips: I'm a girl who typically wears an 8 US women's and 6.5 US Men's, regular/medium width. I ordered a Men's size 8 and they fit just fine. If you're a half size, round up to the next larger size. If you're a guy, you're probably going to need to order at least 1, but probably 2 sizes up. My men's size 8 measures just over 10 1/4" from toe to heel. Also, they are a bit narrow, especially the first few times you wear them. The straps will relax just a bit over time and the bed will conform to your foot, but if you have a wide foot then I definitely don't recommend this one without trying it on first.

Reefs are the best flip flop in the world. Zappos makes buying them easy, fast and at the best price! I always get my order within 2 days. You can't beat that. Zappos is the place to shop!

I love this flip-flop. Does run a little small. This is my 3rd pair. Each one lasts about 10 years till I virtually wear holes in the bottom. Also Zappos is the best company I have dealt with ever. Wonderful customer service.

This was my very first purchase from the internet. I was disappointed when the sandals came in the wrong size. I called and was helped and told the replacement pair would arrive by Wednesday. Well, it didn't, so I called again and was told they would be there by Thursday, which they were. When they did arrive I was completely satisfied!

Can't go wrong with Reef Sandals. Durable and tons of selections. I wear a 9 1/2 size usually but I find the 9's fit better with no smacking while you walk. Can't say enough about Zappos quick delivery.

The first Reefs I bought was the Todos at Bass Pro. Soon after I was always looking for replacements until I found a thicker, more softer, real nice to fit the Reefs Smoothy. Unless Reef comes out with a better one, looks like the Reefs Smoothy is the winner.

I'm a woman with really big feet, and I like a flipflop with a little bit of support (even though not much is really possible). I have been wearing reef smoothies for six or seven years -- I like the thick, hardy-but-soft straps. I used to buy the contoured ones, but since those are no longer available, I bought these uncontoured ones most recently and they're pretty much the same. As with all reefs, I buy them a half size larger than I would with any other shoe (normally I wear a men's 10.5/women's 12, but in these I buy the men's 11). The footbed of these is nice and squishy, which gives a bit of support, and the straps are relatively tight (when they're new) which gives a little bit more support. My feet are a little on the narrow side of normal, so if you have wide feet, this may be a bit of a problem for you. They always stretch over time -- my old pair seems much bigger than these since they're all stretched out. Normally reefs last me a couple summers -- better than any other flip flops I've owned in terms of lifespan. My biggest complaint with all the smoothies is that they squeak something terrible when wet, or make other weird noises. If you're planning on wearing these primarily in/near water, you may want to reconsider.

Absolutely lived in these while at university. Can be worn all day and ultra comfortable. I've gone through 5 pairs over the years and I've only tossed them in the bin once the foam topsole wears clean through to the sole (which literally takes a couple of years). The only problem I've found with them is that when they are still new and it's hot outside they squeak rather noisily. Had to take them off a few times walking through the library. Even took them off when I got to school one day and left them in the locker for an exam as I didn't want to walk out of a silent room once I was done with them squeaking. Note guys: I learned taking a chance and going barefoot can score you a coffee date with a nice gal. Wearing Reef flips gives an even better chance. The girls find them cool. The squeak disappears after a month or two once the foam wears in a bit. Then these become indescribably comfy.

Best flip flops ever. I buy a new pair or two every year. They are super comfy, and mold to your foot.

Love these flip-flops for how comfortable they are but the sizing seems to be way off. Maybe this is how their men's flip flops are.

I only ever wear these flip flops going on 20 years, I believe. I love them. I have strayed with other pairs but that never lasts 1 day maybe. Then back to my Smoothies. Thank you Zappos for having them always.

I only wear Reef's because of their quality and the support they provide. The souls will form to your feet after a few weeks of wear and they are the most comfortable flip flops out there.

I buy 2 pairs of these every summer and have done so for at least the past 5 years. They go with everything and always look great. I haven't ever found a more comfortable flip flop. The other reviews are right - they start out a bit tight, but once you wear them in there's nothing better. No complaints here!

Love these - have bought several pairs over the years. I wear a women's 8 and got a size 8 in these even though they're the men's version. And they fit perfectly. So I'd say the run 1-2 sizes small.
