Great product

I'm so happy with this shoe! Tend to wear an 8.5, but usually wear a 40 in Naot and Oofos. Tried this one, one by Lifestride, and one by Naot that were black and had a strap. While all covered my bunion, this one won because it looks just a little more modern and versatile. I'll be able to wear it with jeans, capris, and skirts. I'm really happy that there is not metallic detail in the buckle because I can wear whatever jewelry I like with it. Wish they had these in colors like gold, cognac, and nude. I'd buy a few.

Birkenstocks are the best. I love the Madrid style because it's got a more feminine and sleeker design.

I love these little sandals. I have the more classic style of Birkenstocks too but I wanted something a little lighter to wear around the house in the summer in particular. I do wear these out sometimes and they're fine for that, I just prefer them as house shoes. They're easy to slip on and off and super comfortable. They definitely aren't as secure as the more classic style of Birkenstocks with two straps, but if you keep the strap tightened properly they will stay on securely enough (you'll need to tighten it up as the footbeds wear in). They're super cute with long dresses and skirts!

I wear a size 10.5 narrow and these fit perfectly. Couldn’t be happier! Nice to have more styles that run narrow. Love Birks!!

So happy that I ordered these shoes! Simple, classic and look great with pants and dresses. No blisters and were comfortable right out of the box. Was a little worried about the narrow width, but as the strap/buckle is adjustable, the fit was just right.

The shoes fit just fine, but the Madrid is not a soft bed, when searched for softened they had come up, that is the only reason I am returning.

i have a narrow foot so love that this style comes in narrow. I have 4 pair of these and they are my go to sandal. Extremely comfortable and very flattering to the foot. The single strap is much dressier that the usual Birks.

I am a long-time Birkenstock’s devotee and these are as good as ever for fit and comfort, right from the start. The synthetic uppers need a little breaking in but that’s minor.

I bought a 41. There was a note saying the style offered was a narrow but that it fit standard width as well. This was true!

I love these sandals - I usually get these in black patent which can look more dressy in the summertime. However lately it's been impossible to find the Madrid in black patent leather - it's hard to find any black Madrid in a regular width since Zappos only offers it in the narrow width. I hope Zappos brings back the Regular width soon!!

I love these sandals! I can't believe how well they've held up. They're so much more comfortable and supportive than flip-flops, but with the same ease of slipping on and off. Other than athletic sneakers, they're the only shoes I can walk all day in and not feel discomfort in my feet. They're my most complimented shoes.

I always have had extreme lower back pain and wearing these have helped so much. I never thought the pain would go away by just wearing a “supportive” shoe. I’m a believer with the Birkenstock’s now.

Typically I wear a medium width but this shoe was only available in narrow and I wanted to see how it would feel - it feels great! I find this shoe very comfortable for walking on errands, shopping or travel - no fatigue.

Do not size down as other reviews stated. I should have went with my normal size, instead I listened then had to exchange. Otherwise, great shoes!

They could have been wonderful except for the narrow fit. The narrow fits an A possibly B, but not a C width like I have. My foot sat on top of the arch and heel area. I will say this however, I went to their website and found out that this is a unisex shoe. I ordered the men's regular fit size 41. My Birkenstock size is a 41. Within 3 days had the shoes (brown in color). The fit was wonderful!! The shoe is very comfortable with the correct width shoe. Now I love, love them!!! I also own the Mayari in a regula fit and they are heavier but still a worth while purchase as I wear them all day long in the house.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these Birks!!! Had them in my shopping cart for a month before I hit the purchase button. They arrived today and I couldn’t be happier! True to most Birkenstock’s you need to order a size down. I’m a 6.5 in regular shoes and I ordered a 36 (5-5.5). They cradle my foot just perfectly. These also come only in narrow—which fits my B/M foot just fine. I even had to put the buckle on the last hole. These are sooo cute! Not clunky at all and I know they will be my go-to casual for the rest of the summer!

I am usually a 6.5, and after reading reviews suggesting you should order a size down (I ordered 5-5.5 size 36) they are absolutely perfect. I don’t like Birkenstock’s that look too big on people, which is usually the case. These are absolutely snug on me. They take a few days to break in, but they are SO comfortable. I have foot issues after injuries and surgery, and it’s very hard to find a sandal that doesn’t kill my feet. This is the only thing I want to wear in summer time!!!!
