These are very cute, especially for Birkenstocks. Usually they are quite masculine, but the color and style of these is quite feminine. I love how comfortable Birkenstocks are!

Great looking sandal! My first pair of Birkenstocks = always wanted the comfort but did not like the traditional Birkenstock sandal look. These are adorable - very cute and trendy! I am working on getting used to them but I am VERY happy with them already. I don't usually take a narrow shoe but my foot definitely fit better in the narrow AND I had to order a 1/2 size smaller than I usually take.

I have two pairs of the Madrid...the onyx and the silver. Onyx is good all around color with denim, black, gray, even khaki. I wear silver when I want to jazz it up a bit. I love them. Very comfortable. Nice casual sandal that looks much more feminine that the usual Birkenstock, kind of retro like the Dr. Scholl's exercise sandal from the '70s. Runs a bit large, had to size down from usual 39 to a 38.

Sleek and comfy! Runs big - First, I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered (duh!) because these do run a size too big. I always wear a 7.5 wide or even an 8 wide, and the 38 was way too big. The 37 is a great fit, with room for my feet and toes spread out a little. And, I've received a lot of compliments on these already. Several people have said, "THOSE are Birkenstocks?" The black patent really spiffs them up.

I have always thought Birkenstocks were ugly until I saw these and had to have them. They are super cute and comfortable! I am a 7.5 and ordered the 7. They were too big, so I exchanged for a 6 and they fit perfectly!

These are very cute especially paired with maxi skirt. It was a challenge figuring out my correct size in these but Zappos exchange process made it as easy a possible. I used the size guide from Birkenstock website for my initial purchase & ordered a 40 but that didnt go well for me. I returned sized down to 39 and they fit perfectly although I think reg width would be better. I've been breaking them in around my home for 2 weeks now & today I finally wore them out for about 6 hours of light walking. Happy to report that I didnt limp back.

This was my first Birkenstock purchase in 14 years. I had no idea they had updated their styles! These are cute...comfortable and a good price. I had to purchase a size 9 narrow and they ended up fitting just fine (I am normally a 8.5 regular).

I have a narrow foot and these are the best, long-lasting shoes that also come in very cute colors. I live in the Southwest so I wear them most every day. They are well worth it! You should definitely buy a pair!

Completely satisfied with my Birk's! I'm not a 'granola' kind of person and they always looked less than fashionable and cosmopolitan. With the slide look and on nice strap with a buckle, I love the look. Beyond all that, they are the most comfortable shoes I own!

Narrow fits! I usually wear a regular width shoe and the front of my foot is a little wide (but not wide enough to wear a wide shoe). I was worried about trying the narrow width in this sandal but really wanted this style. And the narrow fits and feels fine. It may be slightly narrower than ideal (see close up photo) but it feels fine, no discomfort at all.

I have had a few pair of Birks and I wanted to try the single band style because I thought they would look a little dressier. They are cute and the buckle dresses them up and these felt short! My toes were over the front edge and my heels over the back edge. I don't know if this would change breaking them in, but they seem too short to keep and try. My other more classic Birks in the same size didn't feel short like this. Also the strap seemed a little far back, like too much of my toes were sticking out. Also, these only come in narrow, but I ordered them based on other reviews saying they would fit a medium width foot. I have a medium foot and they felt narrow to me.

Love these shoes...have moved from thong sandals to slip-ons and these are great. Ordered them because I wanted the silver. They exceeded my expectations.

I got it. Just Madrid is perfect for my skinny legs!

I have worn Birkenstocks for years now. I do not wear or buy any other sandal. They might seem pricey but once you put them on your feet you will never want to take them off! They last for years! I walk in mine 5 miles everyday during the spring, summer and fall, winter I must wear sneakers in PA. Don't need sneakers as they have so much more support for your feet than the high price sneakers do. The quality is great; you can't go wrong with Birkenstock. I own 14 pairs, and they are just like new and I wear them everyday. Have most styles they come in. Money well spent on these. Will not buy anything else.

On this site looking for a new pair. Mine have worn out and have a hole in the heel. I will miss them and will have to get a new pair. They have molded to my feet and after a year they feel wonderful. They are the only shoes I can wear for long periods of time with comfort.

Love these slip ons. After a hot summer in Austin wearing flip flops every day, my feet could not handle anything more between my toes. These are heaven...and the grayish, bluish, silveryish color goes with jeans, black pants, or white. The color is kind of metallic without being over the top. Thanks Zappos!

Comfy sandals and great arch support. I never had a flip flop in Birkenstock and they are actually my favorite sandal right now.

These are awesome, but they are a full size bigger than posted. I am a 6½ and I am swimming in the 37. I am ordering a 36 now. The onyx color is gorgeous. And they are not too flip-floppy. It does not smack too much when I walk and is very comfortable.

I am very happy with my Birkenstock Madrid slip-on shoes. They are easy to put on. I have bad knees I can't lift my left knee. They slide on easily and are comfortable to wear.

For me, the Birkenstock Madrid slip-ons weren't very comfortable. The bottoms are really hard and hurt my feet after wearing them for a day. I know they eventually form to your feet, but I couldn't get that far because they were so uncomfortable.
