Durability of Reef Fanning 02 -
The comfort of the shoe is great; however the durability of the plastic between the sole and the top of the shoe is not good. The plastic on the left flip flop has 'blown out' while the right one remains in tact. This is the second pair that has done this. The other pair I owned had the flask in the bottom and did the same thing.

Not my favorite Reef -
You'd think the heel on these would be really cushy, but it's very stiff. Everything else is fine, but I really needed the extra 'cush'.

They shoes were incredibly comfortable for the first few weeks. However, they wore down very fast. The hard plastic that support the shoe wore through the foam sole causing them to rub on my foot. Shortly after that, one of the shoes produced a hole in the air cushion. I loved my previous Reef Fanning shoes, but this style is terrible to say the least. I bought a pair of Reef Visions after this incident, and they are still going after two months solid.

I bought these flips for my husband for our recent honeymoon to the Caribbean. He wanted a pair of Reefs because of their reputation as being comfortable. The fit and look were great, but to his and my disappointment the thong cut in between his feet and gave him a blister on the side of his foot. Not worth the cost and definitely not worth the pain on an island vacation.

I really liked these Reef sandals for the first 2 weeks! Great support and really comfortable! On the 3rd week the right air cushion popped. Do not get these sandals!

I bought these because I wanted some new sandals. They fit well, they look good, and I would NEVER buy them again. The air bag on the right one busted the first week I had them. So don't buy them. Go for the old school Fanning's WAY BETTER!
