This is my first Birk, and I am very happy with it. I have worn a number of sandals before, and I really like Birk's solid feel, shape, and comfort. I have worn it for about 2 weeks now, and it's already shaping to fit my feet better!

Wow, I just received my Birkenstock Milanos. I purchased them yesterday and received them today. Now that is service! I put them on and they are just fantastic. I will be wearing them to work and take with me on a trip to Greece this December. They are light and comfortable. With a pair of wool socks, they will even work in winter. Zappos, you are the best. I would not buy shoes from any other vendor! I am sure that I will be back for more.

All I can say is Wow. These are my second pair of these Birk's. I am one of those people that never wore sandals until in my 50's. I can not take them off. Wow, and what customer service...next day delivery, no one else compares.

I've always been happy with my purchases and am marveled by how fast they get here! Keep up the good work. Also your commercials are the best; they make me laugh every time!

This is the 2nd pair of this particular model sandal that I have purchased through Zappos. For their price I think they are excellent value for money. They are considerably cheaper than other Birkenstock models, yet display no difference in wear. Having worn other Birkenstock models in the past, I thoroughly recommend this model sandal.

About a 1/2 size larger than I expected. There are alot of support contours on the sandal, and the contours were a little off. Great sandal if you get the right size. They require a break in period though.

These are what you'd expect from Birkenstock - sturdy, fairly comfy. Consider whether you want the strap in the back though - it is a pain to put on and take off.

The Milano has a heel strap which keeps your sandals in place during a brisk walk. Birkibuc is a soft fake suede that has the advantage over real leather of being soft and flexible on Day One. Keep all three straps loose enough to slip two fingers under the strap. The sandals are designed to stay in place with loose fitting straps. Most people buy the wrong size Birkenstock. To have perfect arch support you must have 1/3 inch open space in front of your big toe and 1/3 inch open space behind the heel. If you already wear Birks four or five days a week, it will only take about a week of wearing for the footbed to conform to your feet for great comfort and support. If you have NEVER worn Birks, limit wear to an hour a day the first week and two hours a day the second week. After your feet have fully adjusted to having great arch support, you will want to wear them every day. To avoid refastening the straps each day, set the rear strap for a very loose fit. Slide your foot into the Milano and pull the heel strap up.

First pair of Birks with a strap. Took a walk wearing socks and very comfortable. Once I got used to the footbed years ago following a knee injury, have stuck with Birkenstocks. They stabilize ankle, knee and hip, not to mention providing a place for each toe, instep and heel. Variety of summer sandals appreciated as clogs and basic sandals for winter wear not lovely. Have a wide foot and usually wear 9.5, 40Reg. in Birks fit well.

My husband LOVES these sandals! These are his 3rd pair in many years - he wears them everywhere, even with a suit now and then!

I like the rear strap that keeps the sandals on when running...classic Berkenstock quality and comfort.

I love these sandals. They're one of three pairs of Birkenstocks in my shoe wardrobe. They look great with jeans and give a boho look to skirts and dresses. I plan to wear these with socks this fall (yes, I'm part German). Birkenstocks' arch support and comfort is amazing. My feet feel better in these than out of them. Great shoes, and l love the color. Very highly recommended!

Birkenstocks are great shoes. Comfortable and well-fitting, and they last forever, and when/if they do wear out it is easy to get them re-soled or repaired.

I did hair style and then went to USPS for work. My feet felt like walking on broken glass. Docter x-rayed and said heel spurs on both feet. Someone told me to get Birkenstock inserts (Blue Footbed) and I held off because of the price. Broke down and tried. OMG, Miracles happened. I have worn Birkenstock inserts and Arizonas for 15 years now. My husband has flat feet and wears the inserts also. Birkenstock anything is worth every penny. There are other good shoes out there, but Birkenstock Arizonas and their Blue Footbed inserts are A-#1.

I bought these to replace an old old pair that had been given to me as a gift. My old ones were leather and took some time to break in but these Birkibucs were soft and comfortable right out of the box. I did have some trouble with the sizing, and ended up returning my first order and getting a size smaller. The footbed runs big so the straps and molded toe area are what you need to fit to. Overall I m very happy with my 1st Zappos purchase. The sandals are great, the return was easy and the price was reasonable.

Great shoe. Third pair of this EXACT style. It lasts a long time- with a lot of wear. Birkenstock's get a bad rap for lack of current styles. It's a classic sandal that is full of quality. The most difficult part is finding the right conversion from your current size to the European sizing.

I bought these for my dad. I had bought the same birki's about a year back and my dad loves them. He used to have some heel pain which he says got better after wearing these sandal because of the arch support it provides.

I have been walking in Birkenstock sandals for many summers, and love their comfort.

I have been a loyal Birkenstock wearer for almost a decade. Because I don't wear sandals year round, one pair usually lasts me about 3 years or more. If you've never worn a pair of Birks before, give them a week. They may be stiff at first, but they soon mold to the shape of your feet and stay that way. The quality construction, clean look and light materials make these sandals not only worth the price, but something you might be able to wear to the office in the summer (depending on where you work, of course).

Initially, the sole feels hard! After just a try-on, I thought of returning it. But I ended up wearing it around for an entire day and fell in love. It was quite comfortable and now I wear it all the time.

Very comfortable but runs large. Zappos has great service, fast shipping and a wide selection at good prices.

Walking seems to transmit more ground feedback to my toes than I was expecting, almost too much. I was planning to wear around the house but since I frequently go barefoot I find the rear strap preventing quick access. Chacos or elastic straps are probably better for frequent removal. Nevertheless these are still good for walking.
