Birks are the favorite of the mommy set in Brooklyn during the summer for good reason--they\'re incredibly comfortable and now that Birkenstock offers some cooler colors and more up-to-date styles, they\'re not just Jerusalem Cruisers (Air Jesus, insert your own Birkenstock joke here...) anymore!

Love my Birks. Was a little concerned the silver metallic might be too shiny and flashy, but the color is a more muted silver. Can wear with almost anything for summer. True to size and very comfortable fit, as always! Also, this was my first purchase from Zappos and will definitely purchase again, great customer service and very quick shipping.

These Birks are very comfy, as usual. They seemed a tiny bit larger than the size marked, and I would call the color closer to olive brown rather than golden brown. However, I\'m happy with them.

I love these shoes! I am a huge fan of Birkenstock shoes, and this style is not only super comfortable, but also stylish and trendy. I love the patent leather look!

I bought these shoes because my regular shoes were becoming a bit tight due to pregnancy. I needed a summer shoe that was comfortable and stylish. These sandals are both. So comfortable I wear them everyday (no break-in period) and they go with everything. Very pleased!

The most wonderful shoe with great support. I have MS and need a stable, flat shoe, but will not give in to orthopedic looking shoes. The silver color is beautiful and goes with anything. Also have the exact pair in hot pink. For me they run a size too large so I buy the 6-6 1/2 size and normally wear a size 7.

I\'m not usually a Birks fan, but I LOVE these!\r\n\r\nThe straps are super adjustable and the arch hits just right. \r\n\r\nWhen I ordered them I thought I was getting a warm brown color but when they arrived they were a bronze-y metallic color. Not super metallic though - just be aware that the pictures don\'t really do the real colors justice.

Ok. Not the sexiest shoe, I know. But if you do a lot of walking to get around the city like I do and engage in a lot of physical activities to begin with, your body will thank you at the end of each day. These are the most comfortable shoes I\'ve ever owned, they give total support so it preserves and protects the health of your back, knees and of course, your feet.

I love Zappos! Zappos made it easy to purchase these shoes. The Birkenstock sandals are the best shoes I have ever worn. Thanks Zappos for having such a wide selection of styles to choose from. I will be back to buy from your site again.

A friend of mine has a pair of these and after admiring them a couple of times, I ordered a pair for myself. I\'ve had Birkenstocks before, so I was familiar with the footbed, but I love the style of the straps on the Mayari! I find that the toe loop makes them very comfortable to wear. My toes don\'t want to curl the way they do when I\'m walking in flip flops. After wearing these almost non-stop I ordered a pair in black because I like them that much! I also get tons of compliments on them! These are the perfect summer sandal I\'ve been looking for!

These sandals are comfortable and very attractive. Look good with shorts, jeans, or skirts! It\'s great finding a pair of sandals that do not need broken in before wearing.

Very comfortable with great arch support. Tend to run large, so you might want to order down a size. Feet feel great even after walking all day long.

I purchased the Mayari Birkenstock sandals before my trip to NYC, and it was the best choice! Very comfortable right out of the box, and the bronze-y color looked more refined. Birkenstocks are what they are - but these look less "orthopedic" than others. I got the regular width (not narrow) because my toes naturally spread out - I don\'t usually wear wide widths, but I avoid styles that have a narrow shoe box, so Birkenstock\'s regular width work well. Zappos is a dream to deal with - fast, free shipping and wonderful customer service.

I love these sandals. I usually wear a 8.5 and bought a pair of 39 Narrow. I have flat narrow feet and have trouble finding a casual sandal that doesn't flop around and feel loose. Although breaking them in at first was a little uncomfortable, I now wear them everyday - to work, out at night and just hanging out on the weekends. Have also received many compliments on the unique antique bronze look. Thinking about getting another pair in silver.

I had bought my first pair of Birkies about 3 years ago then they died...saddened, I went to Zappos and ordered another pair... I didn't really pay attention about the description so I was mildly shocked when they arrived, to see they were silver- after trying them on I totally forgot about them being silver in fact I have been getting compliments, and plan on buying more in different colors...True to size...comfort- incredible! Price? SO worth the money! And the service at Zappos? Un-matched!!! They are wonderful! Only problem is that the ratings only go up to 5 stars...otherwise the rate would be much higher!

First, let me begin as I own 3 dozen pair of Birkenstocks and this is the only summer shoe other than 1 pair of Keens and 1 pair of heels I own. However, this is the only pair of Birks that I wouldn’t wear to the mall. I love the style of the toe loop and the fun look, but it does rub a little bit. I wonder if the leather version or silky suede would have made a difference, but I bought the silver Birko-Flor. I have so many others for long distance walking, it’s fine to have a pair I’d just wear out to dinner or the bar, too. I wanted a thong style, but I cannot wear the Gizeh as the bar going over the top of my foot hurts, but none of the other strap styles going across bother me. If the Gizeh hurt your foot, too, and want to try a thong Birk, this may be the shoe for you.

These sandals are soooo comfortable. I was thrilled with the first pair and came back and bought them in another comfortable. Love the arch support!

These are the first pair of Birks I’ve owned, and I love them. Comfortable from the start, and I have very wide feet. The straps buckle across both the top and near the ankle, so that I could make them looser/tighter as needed. I’ve gotten several compliments on them, and they look great. Thanks Zappos!

This was the first time I had used Zappos service and was impressed with the quick service. I bought these shoes for an outdoor wedding. I was worried about the leather that criss-crosses on the toe, but it is soft and they are just as comfortable as any other pair of Birks!

Same great quality I’d expect from Birkenstock. Just a note - the regular width is actually regular/wide. I usually wear a wide, but the regular width fits me just fine. If your feet run on the narrow side, consider the narrow width shoe.

The golden brown Mayari has a metallic finish. I thought the golden brown meant golden in color, but it actually means golden as in slightly sparkly.

The shoe size runs normal, so don’t order big like I did the first time. I think they are very comfortable. The color is a dark brown mixed with black and has a shimmer to it. I like them.

True to reviews I read before buying, these shoes do run large - so I bought a size down and they fit nicely - adjustable straps. I have narrow feet with VERY little fatty tissue, and therefore my feet hurt and ankles ache as I walk on tiled concrete floors (school administrator). My feet and legs have not hurt since wearing these every day (a black and a brown pair) - and they are cute with my skirts and dresses. Good, flat sole w/ arch support (Birks,Born,Clarks, etc) vs. flex sole shoes were recommended for my mild foot problems by an Emory Univ. physician - these meet my expectations and I’m picky. The Birks provide me the best overall comfort.

These sandals are so comfortable. These are my first Birkenstocks and I love them!!! I wore them the whole time on my vacation and my feet felt wonderful. I have 2 pairs and plan on getting more.
