Great shoe. We’ve bought two pairs of these sandals now, and my rather particular daughter gives them two thumbs up. We buy this brand/style for several reasons: they are still made in Germany (if labor issues matter to you); you can dress them up or down; they can handle running, jumping, climbing, etc; ours still looked great after a dusty summer and lots of wear.

Fits my extra small adult foot to a T. Comfortable from first wearing, supportive at ankle, plenty of toe room. Adjustable straps are fine. Excellent price and standard exceptional cust serv from Zappos. Now looking for red ones but that's an adult color, I guess, not kids' preference. Oh well.

Very comfortable. Size and width very accurate. Love wearing these sandals. I am an adult but have a very small foot size. The sandals were perfect.

I am happy with these great sandals for my active daughter who happens to have wide feet! It can be hard to find shoes in the store that don't rub her pinky toes. The Birk shoes are shaped perfectly for wide feet. The only negative is that she does not care for the buckling/unbuckling to get the shoes on and off.

These are awesome- my 3 yo son loves them. He wears them every day to preschool and they've gone through water, sweaty feet, mud etc and look like new and don't stink at all like with plastic/rubber sandals. He wears a 10 in Adidas sneakers and the size 28 fits great.

My 6 year old son has a high instep and he walks on his toes these work best for him. The arch support is amazing and it looks so handsome on. At first he didn't like the look of them. His very words were "I am not wearing those to school" He has them on right now and won't take them off. I highly recommend Birkenstock brand. :-)

These are by far, my favorite sandals! They are absolutely comfortable and cute. I am 4'11" and I have tiny feet. The size 33 fit me perfectly and I usually wear size 5 in womens. I have issues with my feet being extremely achy because of my bunions and walking in these all day, I have no pain whatsoever! They are well worth the money!

Very good quality shoe. It's worth the price. They included a nice tip that the shoes can be inexpensively resoled when worn. They do run big.

Excellent quality, my 3 year old toddler loves these!Comfy right out of box, super cute on little feet and go with any outfit. The only pair of shoes my kiddo will wear, they fit his wide footsies perfectly.

I've only had the sandals for a few weeks but so far I've been very pleased. I love the way they look and my son loves the way they feel. My son has a wider foot and it's hard for me to get him to wear anything but crocs, but he wears these with no complaints!

Do not order up a half size in these shoes my 2 year old wears an 8 in Nikes and his toes are right at the end of them, so I ordered a 26 (8.5) and they were way too big and I got a size 25 and they are actually still a little big but the straps are adjustable so they worked out fine with some room to grow.

These are great sandals! My son loves the fact that they stay on his feet and they are easy to slip on and off.

Nice shoes for kids, so far they seem to be made like the adult version only smaller. No overwhelmingly smelly feet like with synthetic sandals, which is why I went with these for my kids this year. Getting them a little wet occasionally won't ruin them, but they are not a "water shoe", extensive prolonged submersion would probably wreck them. The only surprise I had that is the upper is NOT leather, but it seems durable and comfortable. I am hoping the idea is that it will keep looking nice longer than actual leather would.

I bought theses Birkenstocks for my grandson that is 2 and let me tell you that they are true to fit and he loves them. I have bought a lot of shoes from Zappos and I do not have any regrets. The price is right and they have a lot of different styles to choose from. I will recommend Zappos to all of my family and friends.

These are super cute and look great on my 5yo son. He loves them. Classic Birkenstock style and comfort. Perfect for his wide caveman-esque feet! The only thing that kind of disappointed me is that the underside of the leather straps is felt. The staps are not leather throughout like on the adult shoes. I guess this is a comfort thing but I would have liked to know that up front.

I would have kept these, but my toddler is a true size 7 and the 7/7.5 here is much too long, more like an 8/8.5. Note the straps are faux leather with polyester fuzz on the underneath side, I would have preferred real leather and the buckle was a hassle. Will be reordering down the road never the less.

I have to say - these run huge. I ordered the size 8 when my toddler was an 8 in all his other shoes. They were boats on him, and I sent them back. I reordered them in the size 8 again, nine months later, when he's an 8.5 edging onto 9 assuming they would fit now...and they are still boats on him. I'm guessing they are a 9? 9.5? Truly huge.

They ran a little small I usually wear a 5-6 womens and 3-4 kids. I wish Zappos had the next size up because I like that the straps arent as thick as the womens size. Not to mention a lot cheaper.

When I first purchased these shoes for my then 9 year old son, he refused to wear them saying that they were too ugly. When he finally tried them on, he loved them. In fact, he wears them year round (we are in California, practically every day). I have now gone through about 4 pairs. My only complaint about these shoes is that the soles do not last very long at all for us, and it is expensive to resole Birkis. Fit is great, but I finally stopped buying them because I can't get much more than 2 months out of these shoes.

So I love these on my son (he's 5) but it's hard to find a place where they are convenient to wear. Every wood chip and stone get into them. I guess best for city strolling and not for anything like playground, etc. We're keeping them because they are so cute!

I bought two pairs of this sandal just a few weeks ago, for each of my sons. Three days ago the rubber sole completely separated from the left shoe on one boy's pair and yesterday the same thing happened to the other boy's pair. Ironically we are traveling in Roma, the shoes' namesake. I spent 10 euros to have the first pair repaired thinking this was anomalous, the cobbler said this should never happen with Birkenstocks. After the second pair broke I got pretty annoyed and will send them all back to Zappos with a complaint when I return from my vacation. I've worn Birkenstocks for years, they last forever, so I'm really surprised by the drop in quality. It makes me think that the reason for their low prices is that Zappos sells factory seconds or ancient models...
