Warning! These socks are pictured as though the entire sock is all black. When they arrived, I was shocked to see a large white label CW-X going up the outside leg on both socks.

As an avid sports competitor. I am training about 6 days a week majority of it requires a great deal of running and cross training. I started feeling a constant tightness in my calves. After week of trying everything I was fed up and sore, and read about compression support socks and figured I would give them a try at one of my training sessions and sure enough after my first use of the CW-X Compression Support Socks the pain in my calves subsided. I swear by them now for soreness and use them while training once or twice a week and have no more problems with soreness.

I purchased these for skiing. The size is true to fit. Feel so comfortable and supportive and they do not fall down.

These socks are well constructed and seem to be holding up well after a few wash/drying cycles. They offer good cushioning in the right spots and wick away moisture so they have the baseline running sock requirements covered. I wouldn’t say they make me run any faster or run longer, but I can tell when I wear these socks during a run and continue wearing for about 20-30 minutes after the run, that my legs feel less fatigued or "banged up". I have noticed a reduction in calf soreness and shin splint related pain. I would say the "lateral support" claims of these socks would be a little bit of a stretch from reality. I didn’t buy into that claim anyway, but all the other advertised benefits seem to be true. Good product and cheaper than C.E.P. brand socks.

Very tight and supportive. I might not sleep in them (a little too tight to be comfortable for more than a couple of hours), but they help during runs and immediately after for recovery.

I must be too short for them (5'2"). I cannot stretch them up completely so they feel better if I fold down the top. Whether folded down or not the top elastic is too tight and hurts, leaving a red, achy mark, after my 12 hour RN shift. Otherwise, I would like them. They have certainly held up after many washings.

A pretty good compression sock. I wear it around the house after long runs. I\'m sure you could run in it as well, but I do not run in compression socks. Fits true to size.

These are great for recovery in working out. However, they are a bit on the tight side. I would go one size up if anything. I wear between a 7.5 and 8 and these were a bit tight for me. However, they really do help in recovery from working out! Awesome!

I must have skinny calves because I do not find these tight at all. Foot bed sizing is fine. Maybe since they are unisex sizing it allows more for a man's calf. Nice socks, but not sure they are going to give me the support I was looking for.

These are interesting, but I do not believe the product does what it claims. I wear medical compression wear and these are the same. I do not think they are properly graduated.

I didn't like these at all. When I put them on, they looked like old-man socks. Not sure the socks made me perform better or ease pain. I run just as well without them.

Great support for tired legs. Most helpful for people spending lot of time standing and/or on their feet. My mother and sister both have varicosities, and I need the support to help prevent my varicose veins from getting any worse or putting off surgery. These socks offer solid support at a price far below that of a competitive compression sock manufacturer. They also offer additional cushioning in the foot. If you hand wash these socks, they should give you support for quite a while. Keep in mind, most manufacturers recommend replacing the compression socks every 6 months. The 2 pair of J_BST I have, I've had for 2 years.

Expensive, but worth it. After pulling my left calf during workouts, my trainer recommend these socks. Wear them for all my workouts.

These compression socks are a Godsend! I am a nurse and I swear by these compression socks...I have five pairs of them! These save my feet and legs on my 13 hour plus days. Before wearing these, my feet would be so sore just after a few hours at work because you are really on your feet all day, but I don't have that problem anymore because I wear these socks! Do you legs a favor and buy these! Seriously, don't wait -- they are so worth it!

Our daughter-in-law LOVES these socks. She's a nurse at a hospital and is on her feet the whole time she's there. The socks keep her legs and feet from being tired after a long day at work.

I love these socks. They are not as extreme compression as certain other styles, however they are thin and do not impact the fit of your shoe. I have worn these in marathons and tri's for 10 hours and at the end of the event, the only part of my body that felt half decent was my calves. Everyone is different, but in my case, I find that the close fit helps prevent blisters. I guess a person who felt otherwise could use the calf sleeves instead. I especially loved these socks in winter time under long pants, they really cover some skin and keep you warm. To that end, I probably would not wear high socks in a running race above about 75f. Very happy customer with these.

So far I've used these for recovery and for this application, they're great. The amount of compression is slightly less than that of the other brands, but I find this comfortable. They are thin enough to fit comfortably in your running shoes so when the weather cools down, I am going to try running with them as well.

Love these socks! Not as tight as my cep compression socks, but I can wear these overnight and feel great in the morning to go run! I have been increasing my miles and was feeling it in my calves and shins, then between these and ice massage I've been feeling great!

Cep makes great tight calf sleeves and socks, very different, but good in own right.

Love them! The color is more pink than raspberry. I have to wear support socks so thought I'd make a fashion statement. They're perfect! just wish there were more wild colors!

CW-X is my favorite brand of compression socks. I've tried lots of brands, but these, overall, always fit good and have good compression.

I have been running for a moderate amount of time and never thought that technical gear such as this would help all that much. After running a half marathon my legs were in agony for days. I started looking into compression gear and decided I would try these socks. I will never go back. These socks do everything they say they do. I never run without them. They keep my legs feeling great no matter how far I run. A must have for serious runners! CW-X makes incredible items. Looking forward to purchasing more soon.

Should've gotten a medium. These are way too big even with size 13 feet. The material is very thin too. I like the 2x-u's better. They almost feel like just stockings. They look cool though.

Received the socks and when the recipient (Xmas gift) opened the package there was a hole about the size of a small finger near the top of one sock. Called Zappos. They were very helpful and as they were now out of stock and I was in Canada and had the sock delivered to a hotel on a visit to the US they credited my credit card without even returning the defective socks. Excellent customer service. Product rating irrelevant as item defective and not worn.
