There was just something about the material - feels like it won't breathe, maybe, so sadly, because I LOVED the color, I am returning this item.

I'm 5'2", 105 lbs, and I could only find so many options for this type of shirt in XS (for an upcoming safari). I thought I'd give the white version of this shirt a try. It is comfortable, lightweight, and cool feeling, but ultimately I was underwhelmed with the style. It's kind of plain, and the white plastic snap buttons look a little cheap (hospital-like). I'm returning these.

Sizing is not what you expect. Ordered extra large for a large person and it was still too small.

I own several of these shirts. They are my go-to shirt when I am going to be in the sun for any length of time. Very comfortable and does not wrinkle. Unfortunately, after only one washing one of the snaps came apart and that is why I only gave 3 stars. I will keep the shirt because I love the color and need it for this weekend but was very disappointed.

I originally bought this shirt about 5 years ago and wanted another at this point. However, the sizing changed. I bought the same style, color and size but the new one was smaller through the hips and I had to return it. So, the sizing changed and I was disappointed in my purchase. I couldn't go up one size as that would have been too large.

Just bought and returned this shirt yesterday - I always wear a Medium, but this shirt runs tight. I don't dare buy the Large, for fear it will be long sleeved and baggy.

The shirt is good quality and I like the style. But it runs small and doesn't fit as a result.

I have purchased shirts for hiking in the sun from Columbia for some years now. But I have noticed that over time the quality control is sorely lacking. I have had to return shirt after shirt because the stitching is uneven or crumples or the collar is off balance. What has happened? On this occasion I returned 5 shirts and kept one. And the one I kept does not have the crisp quality I purchased several years ago from Columbia. This is really disappointing.

I have four or five different style button up shirts from Columbia and I wish I could have tested them first because they are all unwearable for the same reason. For some reason all the shirts have a full two inches between buttons. Maybe that works for the mens clothing but if you're a women and you sit down or move your arms or the wind blows you're flashing more than is appropriate. I bought these because I work outside all day in the heat, so having to wear an undershirt defeats the purpose.

Generally, I love Columbia products and have many other items. This shirt just arrived in size Medium and I'm very disappointed to find it's too tight in the hips - weirdly so since the rest of the shirt fits very well. No, my hips are not extra large. I generally wear a Small or Medium top with no issues. This is just poorly designed and will go back. Also, the small Velcro closures at the collar keep opening on their own. A snap or actual button would work better. I do like the feel of the fabric. It allows a good deal of air to flow through and would be very cooling to wear.

I've had this style shirt for years and decided to get another. I ordered one in the color "Atoll", but when the shirt arrived, it looked like a much darker blue. So, I went back online and saw that it looked more like "Ocean Teal". I chatted with an online advisor who looked up the color code (-404) and he said it was "Atoll". So.....I wonder if the "Ocean Teal" shirts are being put into the wrong bags...or the photography is really off.....doesn't seem fair they'll charge for a return.

I really had hope for this shirt but It makes you sweat very easily.

I absolutely love the Columbia UV protection shirts and have several. However, this particular style has velcro tabs to hold the collar in place. My first washing the collar came undone and the loose velcro caused a pull in the shirt. I haven't even worn it yet. Disappointed. Will contact Columbia. Otherwise, I can only highly recommend their shirts but avoid the ones with a velcro secured collar.

FYI, the sizing has changed again on these. I love these shirts and a few years ago I ordered more of them in a size Large because that's the size I was actively wearing. New shirts arrive and are too small, so I reordered in an XL. Now it's the same situation again - wearing an XL in the same style PFG, but new XLs arrive and are too small. I work outside and these are far and away the most comfortable thing to wear, but the inconsistencies on sizing will likely prevent me from reordering.

I got a large like one I bought a few years ago and I could not snap this one closed across the chest. The makers of this shirt do not take into account that women have boobs! Loved the feel of it. So sad

This is my first UV protection shirt. I wore it on a day that probably never hit 80 degrees and was so hot and sweaty that I had to take off the shirt and put on something else. The underarm smell was awful. I washed it and the smell came out but I will only use this in cool weather. Shirt is fitted a little tight on the bottom button.

I ordered the coral color shirt and I would have liked the shirt except the mesh pockets show through the fabric. It just looks strange in my opinion. Other than that, it seemed like it would have been a nice hiking shirt. I returned it, so I can't speak to the quality over time or actual comfort when wearing in hot weather.

I order several shirts but it is too small.the others ran true to size. The color is very nice and the fabric is soft.

To me, the color was more kelly green than lime. Fit-wise, this shirt was snug across the bust (I'm average & usually wear Columbia small). And another reason I returned this shirt is that it has those annoying zippered pockets on the side seams.
