I have worn this style for years, as a button up or unbuttoned over a tank top. History of skin cancer requires protecting my skin. This shirt is cool, comfortable and provides a degree of protection. Ideal apparel for S. Texas. I have several white and several different colors. Luv them!

I love the weight of the shirt and the fact you can either wear it long sleeves or wear it with the tabs.

Numerous recent reviews suggested this feminine-cut shirt design runs very small, so I decided to trust that information and ordered a (L) while the rest of my Columbia shirts are (M). What I received is a lovely, way-too-large, feminine-cut shirt ... which suggests to me that many reviewers don't understand that a 'feminine-cut', by design, is more shaped than a generously cut 'relaxed-fit' design! The waist of the (L) PFG TAMIAMI II is practically the same (39") as the waist of my (M) relaxed fit Bahama, Super Bahama and Bonehead II (39.5/40") shirts - but with a wider shoulder. Unfortunately layering would not work well with this flowing, lightweight fabric - and - it is not feasible for me to exchange the shirt as we are retired and traveling out of the US.

Love this shirt. Usually wear a small, but ordered a medium which is a great, comfortable fit. Wear it for casual occasions as well as outdoor activities.

Fit is true to size. Super light weight, soft fabric. This shirt is very comfortable and versatile. Good quality. Would highly recommend!

Lightweight and flattering

On a trip met a couple wearing these shirts. They said they are great for hiking ( they were serious hikers ) but also looked great for wearing Day or evening.

I purchased several of these shirts for a fall cruise to the Mediterranean. They worked perfectly in a varying climate. Kept me cool in the higher temps and warm in the lower temps. Easy to rinse out in the sink while travelling and, at home, machine washed and dryed beautifully with no wrinkling. I do find that these run small so I order up a size.

Went birding in Arizona and not only enjoyed the comfort of this shirt but I received many compliments from other ladies on the hike. I love the material, so light but not see through, the snaps instead of buttons are easy and also light, not big heavy things. It kept the sun off and I was entirely comfortable and I loved the color, bright peach. I plan to buy more.

I am very pleased with this product. I hope you continue to add more color selections to the Tamiami II line.

Fit is flattering but not not tight. Material keeps me cool. Easy to launder. Color true to picture.

This is the classiest shirt, especially for sun protection. I get more compliments on the look and feel of it. Thankyou for such a great product

The shirt is quite comfortable and lightweight. I love the pockets. It washes well.

I love this shirt--this is my second. It helps protect my skin from the sun while the white fabric does not absorb the heat and keeps me cool. Although I have not yet washed this one, the prior one was amazing: quick dry in Amazon humidity and washing clean from Huayna Picchu mud.

This shirt fits true to size through the shoulders, chest, and arms however I would have preferred a looser fit through the lower belly. I don't have a flat stomach. The material is soft and smooth, doesn't catch or pinch when I move or stretch and protects me from the sun while hiking. It is also flattering over a shell paired with capris, skirt, or slacks for a casual look. Purchased white and will definitely buy more colors.

I have been a longtime fan of Columbia products and have never been disappointed with any purchase. My recreational family loves their fun in the sun at the lake. Medications require me to stay out of the sun. I hated to miss out on our priceless family activities. Then I discovered the Omni-Shade 40 Sun protection shirt and now have four of my own and have gifted several to friends and family. I stay cool, protected, keep my doctor happy, and have total peace of mind. We all love our Columbia products.

I bought this sleeve shirt in preparation for the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. Delighted to see and feel the quality of the sleeve and it doesn't wrinkle after being washed! The material is cool and love the ventilation too!

My hiking buddies encouraged me to try a long-sleeved sun shirt for our hikes-for sun protection and keeping cooler. I did not believe I could stand long sleeves (I was always wearing tank tops for the hikes) and I did not believe it would keep me cooler. It really DOES keep me cooler (I got a white one) and I got used to the sleeves the first time I wore it. AND I don't have to wear sunscreen! My hiking buddy wanted me to try it so bad that she bought me my first one. I just had to buy another because I use it so much...

I wore this shirt on a recent camping trip and was very pleased with it. I had the sleeves rolled up and the button straps did a great job of keeping the fabric out of the way. I really liked the ventilation on the back of the shirt and the shirt felt very comfortable and fitted enough to be flattering but not sticking to me. I plan on wearing it again for more camping and boating trips.

they have so many uses and always look great

I love Columbia shirts..I live right on the ocean in the Deep South and it's always hot and humid..these shirts are so lightweight and dry so quickly they're perfect for boating, fishing, or riding our utv on the beach..I really like this one because it looks dressy without all the pockets in the front..it's great for getting right off the boat and going into a restaraunt..I have a hard time finding button up shirts that fit me..my arms and shoulders are larger than your average woman..I am extremely busty but have a smaller waist and flat stomach..I usually have to go up a size to fit my chest but then It's so big in the waist it looks dumpy..I still go up a size in the Columbia button up shirts but only because the fabric pulls open over my bust but the cut is much nicer as it nips in a bit at the waist..I don't have to go up a size in any other style Columbia shirts and am happy to have a good fitting shirt that is also functional in the heat.
