I love these shorts. They are super comfortable, flattering, a nice length (I'm 5'8" and the size 8 hits right at the knee like in the picture). I normally wear a 6 or 8 and went with the 8 to make sure they were comfy, I'd recommend a size up if you are between. I have them in black and the grayish/green color which looks more green in person than on the website.

I really like these shorts, the style and the fit is great. Unfortunely after buying these I found them for almost half the price at REI.

These great Bermuda shorts fit my smallish waist and largish thighs perfectly in a size 12. I love the substantial, non wrinkling, quick dry material. I own two pairs of RR Discovery pants and they wash and dry with no shrinkage. The rise is just a tad below the belly button.

Lightweight, super comfortable and relatively stylish. Ordered them in size #10, I am normally #8, but am always worried about buying pants in size 8. Went with #10 - the fit is good (with a bit of room to spare) - keeping them. Now I am thinking of trying another pair in #8, but wish Zappos would offer it off-white (I think they call it 'sandstone') color.

I love the color and fabric! I normally wear a 12, but had to buy a 14. They are cute and comfortable. I don't have a small waist,& these do. That is my only complaint.

Love these shorts. Very flattering fit. I wear them hiking or with a nice top to work. Totally wash and wear. I have them in 3 colors.

I am 5’5” and weigh 130ish pounds with full thighs/pear shape. Size 6 Fits great. I can see why people rave about these.

Love these shorts, perfect length for me, 5'8". They fall just above my knee. The only I would recommend is getting them a little snug as they stretch quite a bit when you are wearing them. I needed to get belt to hold them up.

Size is perfect. Material great. I ordered these shorts for golf because of the longer 12" inseam and will be able to wear them any time, even hiking. I ordered the same pair in black and as I am typing this, I just ordered another pair in the beige. Highly recommend.

Best. Shorts. Ever! I never thought I would be so excited about shorts/bermudas, but these are truly the most comfortable and flattering shorts that I have ever worn. I was hesitant because of the price, and also purchased a similar style by Columbia, but these Royal Robbins Discovery bermudas fit much better and are worth the price! I am 5'6 and they hit right at my knee (perfect length). For reference I bought these in a size 4 (my usual size), whereas the Columbia shorts were a size 6. I had never heard of Royal Robbins before, but their fit is so amazing (can't say that enough!) that I will be trying out their other shorts & pants too.

I love these Bermuda shorts. These are hard to find, so when I do, I buy them. These are very flattering because of the length. The only problem is that the older ones I have are size 10, but the current size 10 is too big. Sizes are not consistent. And I can't find additional colors in size 8....

I have several Royal Robbins skirts and I love them all. The shorts are made from the same durable, comfy fabric. Unfortunately have to return the shorts the crotch seems to short, uncomfortable fit. They fit fine everywhere else.

Super comfy, stylish and they dry really fast. Actually wore them straight from hiking to swimming, washed them and they were dry and ready to wear the next day!

Royal Robbins is a favorite of mine for travel and leisure. This fabric is one of the best. It wears well, comes out of the dryer looking great, packs into a small size and repels water/stains. Zappos gives excellent service every time!

Love the length, lightweight fabric, and pockets. The desert sand color is a little dull but otherwise love the structure.

I have been looking for some Bermuda shorts that FIT for a polished yet funky outfit. These are wonderful for the purpose. I am a hiker as well, so when I have worn them dressy for a while, they will be great for adventure and treks. The fabric is silky. The two zipping pockets in the back are great for keeping essential ID cards or a hanky.

Shorter on this 5'7.5" female, quality is very good, breathable summer material for adventurous pursuits. I paid attention to another reviewer & sized up if in between - good tip!

I love these bermudas. Very easy to wear. Lightweight and comfortable. Look nicer than many fitness/walking shorts.

Perfect shorts, I am 5' 8" and weigh 150 lbs, the hit me right above the knee and are slimming and flattering. No bulky pockets and now I am going to buy a 2 more pairs in other colors.

These are great shorts - I own several pairs in black, charcoal and green. They work great for hiking and just walking about town and are nice enough to be paired with a nice top for dinner in a casual restaurant. I can't imagine the summer without them.

These shorts are very comfortable and wash well. I am between an 8 and a 10 size - so bought the 10's. They are more roomy then I need and I probably could wear the size 8 but will go for no worries comfort.

These shorts were a real discovery. They are the most perfect shorts that I have ever owned: the length, the cut, the fit, the four vertical (rather than side slash) pockets (the two in back close with almost invisible zippers), the workmanship waist both snaps and buttons), the fabric (super lightweight, barely wrinkles and quick-drying, yet soft). I am running out of superlatives. The colors are very good (especially Everglade), and I own a number of them. I just wish they were also available in a darker grey (the light pewter is really light) and a denim or slate blue.

GREAT Bermuda! Fabric has some stretch and is so light you almost feel like you're wearing nothing. Royal Robbins quality shines through, every detail finished off properly. I love that it hits just above the knee because I'm short and Capris always make me look stumpy. And Zappos always amazes me, I had them the next day - and of course shipping was FREE! You guys ROCK!!

The fabric is lightweight and the length is good. But, the snap on the waistband is very hard to unsnap. It feels like it will rip the fabric with continued use so I am sending it back.
