As other reviews have stated, these shoes are AT LEAST a half size larger than you expect. I generally wear a size 7 in sneakers/casual shoes, and I had to return them for a 6.5. With an arch support insert and thin socks, the 6.5 are still a little loose. Thank goodness for the easy exchange process! The style is ridiculously cute, so I didn't mind the hassle. Plus, I should have listened to the other reviewers, and ordered a smaller size from the get-go.

I purchased these shoes in the yellow/black/white with stripes and flowers. They are so adorable. Very fun and cute. But as with most Rocket Dog shoes, very little arch support. I will try to remove the inner sole and purchase a nicer one so that I can wear them for longer stretches of time. I usually only buy high end shoes, but I do like the fun aspect of the Rocket Dog line. Just not the inner comfort. But for about $20 or so, a nicer inner soul will do the trick.

This shoe is very cute, and the width is quite comfortable. Sizes do run big. I am returning this 10, hoping for a 9.5.

These just arrived, so I have only initial remarks, which are that they're very cute! (I got the daisy ones.) I'm writing this review mostly to help others with sizing. I normally wear an 8.5 but sometimes a 9, so I was unsure if I should size down to an 8, even though many people said to size down by a half. I ultimately ordered an 8 and they are perfect. Not at all snug and there's still some room in the toe. They're wider than average sneakers, but good if you have Fred Flintstone feet like me! Hope this helps!

These sneakers are so cute, but run large by a full size or more. I have been a solid size 9 forever. I ordered down 1/2 size and they were still huge. The 8 is better and I will keep them, but I could almost go down to a 7-1/2! My feet are medium width. These have a lot of wiggle room in the toe box which is not a bad thing for sneakers. All that said, these are very fun sneakers!!!!

Bought these for my middle-school-aged daughter. She was so excited about them and was in love with the print. The toe box was slightly wider than she's used to with Converse and Vans-- she really liked that about them. Unfortunately, they were also wide on her heel and slipped too much when she walked. We ordered a second pair in a half size down but that did not solve the issue. In terms of length, she couldn't possibly take a smaller shoe but it still was slipping on her heel. Daughter was super disappointed that we had to return them because they just didn't fit her foot.

These shoes are just adorable and everyone who has seen them compliments me and wants to know where I bought them. I ordered the half size smaller as recommended (I usually wear 6.5 but ordered 6). They do not have much cushioning or support so I put in some gel insoles and they are much more comfy. However, I would not use them for a long walk due to lack of good support.

These shoes are so cute. They make your feet look very tiny. They are about a half size too big. I ordered a 9 but could have got the 8.5. However, since there is zero arch support the extra room is okay if you put different insoles in.

These are comfortable and seem to be well made. This style is made for a wider foot. I have a narrow foot but kept these just because they are a different look from what I usually wear. (Socks will be a must for me).

I usually wear 7.5 in running shoes, and 7 in converse. I decided to order a 7, but I should have ordered a 6.5. I was also a little surprised when I received them because the laces are really long, and have to be tied on the outside, which make the shoes not as cute as the picture. Usually with my converse I tuck the tied laces under the tongue of the shoe, but there is not enough room in these shoes to do that without them sitting incorrectly and uncomfortably on your foot. My old pair of rocket dogs had a different style of lace that did not need to be tied, I simply should have looked at the product more closely. I unfortunately will be returning them.

This shoe is comfortable and cute. It does run large though. The shoe is very wide but it feels comfortable. I thought about getting a half size smaller but wasn't sure if it would then be long enough from heel to toe. There isn't any padding in the bottom but I did wear them all day running errands and they felt fine. Just had to tie them tight since they are larger than normal.

Bummed that they were not canvas! They were very stiff and too large! I am 61, proud owner of over a dozen Rocket Dogs purchased over the years. Will continue to be a Rocket Dog/ Zappos fan. These just did not work for me.

Received mine and wore them immediately. I use an orthodic and it fit in perfectly. May want to add a gel sole to these as the support and "cushiness" is minimal...much like a Converse. I like these because of the wide toe box. I have wide feet and some neuroma issues. Nice to find a cute stylish pair of sneakers that work.

These are so much cuter in person. Darn stinkin' cute. But I think I'll be sending them back because they are really wide and even with the laces snugged up, my foot is all over the place in them. I knew they ran a little long so I ordered a half size down, which made the length perfect. They're really pretty flat -- no arch to speak of -- so definitely more of a casual, fun shoe. So summery and fun! Breaks my heart to let these go, but pretty sure I'd hate myself for the agony wearing these would cause. If you've got wider feet, lucky you!

These are really cute and go with everything because they have every color on them. I've gotten several unsolicited compliments on them for my first few wears. I wish the rocket dog logo weren't quite so ginormous on the heel. I followed others recommendations and ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear. I usually wear a 10 or even 10.5, but I bought a 9.5 and they are roomy and have space for thick socks. The sole seems a little thin, could have better support.

I just got these about a week or two ago. I have been an 8½ all my life, and I ordered a half size down, and they are still large! But not large enough to send back. I know if I get a 7½, they will be too snug, I would rather them be a little too big than too tight! It works out because I have wide feet. These are super cute but there is also not really any support inside. I got expensive supportive insoles and with them, the shoes are too snug, but with cheap Dr. Scholl's, they are nearly perfect. C'est la vie! Despite all the little tweaks, I still like them, and would still recommend getting them. Just make sure you account for all your personal needs!
