These are great shoes. I've always liked New Balance for their cushioning and durability. The style goes with everything. They do run a 1/2 size small, I usually wear an 11 so I ordered 11.5 and they're perfect. Really comfortable and great arch support! I also can't say enough about Zappos! I ordered these shoes at 5:30pm on Monday and had them at 3pm on Tuesday with free shipping!!! Not even 24-hour turnaround!

Great traction!
I bought these shoes for my son. New Balance is always a great bet since he has wide feet. They're extremely durable, and for kids who like to play sports, these shoes really last.

The best running shoe -
I was pleased with the shoes as soon as I opened the package. It's even better in person and the comfort is none like I've ever felt before. I've owned several pairs of running shoes over the years. I have to say that these are the best I've had by far. I couldn't wait to take them for a run. I have wide, flat feet so you can imagine how difficult it is for me to find the right shoe. I'm glad that I finally found the best shoe for me.

My son loves the shoe. However, I got him measured at a store to be sure of a size before ordering. Two stores said he was a 7.5. This shoe was too small and I'm trying the 8. Hope that's big enough! Thank goodness for Zappos free return policy! Love that!

They are what you want -
Good feel, standard/medium width is true to those of us that do not have flipper wide feet, but also do not have the ballerina feet that Nikes and other top names often require. I am recovering from a lower back fusion and these work great with my home and outpatient P.T. demands. Nice support, light feel,and warm enough to wear in moderately cold weather. I stand by this shoe.

For some reason, some name brand shoe makers are making their shoes narrower than normal these days, but New Balance seems to fit no matter what. I did not have to buy a wide width just to make them fit. I'm very pleased.

I use them every day. I wasn't exactly buying these shoes for running, but more of everyday walk here and there that sometimes involves dirt. They're really comfy, fits me well, and sturdy. I will definitely recommend this shoes!

Size was accurate. I\'m on my feet the majority of the day on concrete and they are very comfortable after a short break in period (1 week or so). My wife says that they\'re not the best looking shoes around, but she doesn\'t hate them. Overall I\'m very happy with the shoes.

They are sooooo light and so comfortable but they definitely run a little small, a half size to be safe. But I wear a 14, there is no 14.5, so I have to order a 15 so hopefully it’s not too big. But definitely worth a shot.

I've been buying New Balance shoes for years and have always been pleased w/ the fit. I buy New Balance based on the fact that I have 4E wide feet, and they offer almost all their latest/greatest models in these widths. They always fit me like they were custom made for me, EXCEPT this time. My sure fire, tried and true size was off this time. It was tight in the toe area and my toes felt crammed. Obviously I checked the tongue expecting to find the size marked a 1/2 size smaller than I ordered. No such luck, it was my trust worthy 11 4E that I have sworn by for years. BUMMER! Maybe it’s just this model but if I was to buy another pair I would go up a half size on the length.

I have very wide feet with a high instep. New Balance is the only shoe that really feels comfortable. I had a favorite model, but of course that was discontinued. These are a nice replacement. You might want to consider ordering a size wider than you normally do. These seemed a little bit narrower than what I usually experience in an EE.

Looks are deceiving!
Hey, if you buy this shoe, please be sure to get a half size larger than usual. Normally I purchase size 12 in New Balance running shoes, but this is the first time that a size fit too snug and tight at the toes. I wear regularly a size 11.5 and always get a half size larger to compensate for the friction and movement during running, but this shoe has totally fooled me. It seems that I need a whole size larger than expected for this particular shoe. Overall, New Balance is still me favorite running shoes next to Adidas. I am going to try another style and maybe oil will strike next time!

I need a 4E shoe. New Balance has been my go to brand since I was 17. This pair of MT571's felt very flimsy. The shoe offered little to no support from day1. My older pair of New Balance MT shoes were amazing so this was very disappointing.

Big fan of NB shoes, but these really disappointed. Not true to size at all! Felt about a size smaller than they should have, but I had them mailed to a location where I couldn't ship them back (my fault!) and couldn't return them. Used them for 300 miles anyway and retired them to gardening use only.

Great shoe for the price.
I ordered 2 different sizes of these and found that they seem to feel about 1/2 size too small. I have always been a 7.5, but with this model, my toes were jammed against the front of the shoes. The size 8 fit almost perfectly, but they are wider than they should be in the front half of the shoe. There is no arch support if that is a concern to you. Overall it is a decent sneaker for the price.

Odd fit -
The shoe looks great. As an owner of a pair of New Balance shoes for several years, I thought this purchase would be a "shoe-in." Much to my surprise, the shoe (same size and width as my last pair) cramped my toes painfully. I tried them out twice at the gym, but they just don't fit. In comparing their soles with those of my old pair, it appeared that the shape skewed inwards on the new shoes. I will give them away, hoping they'll fit someone else. Meanwhile, I have purchased a pair of New Balance M992 and am very happy with them--they'll get all 5's.
