I recently received my black pair of these, and they fit very, very loose at the strap by the shoe. It's hard to even walk in them. I think it is a fluke pair, because I have the same exact ones in brown, same exact size and all (38/7) and they fit amazing; very comfortable & I can wear them an entire day. That is why I bought these. So, just wear them around the house to make sure you got a good pair that fits. I wore them outside the 1st time because I didn't ever imagine they would fit differently than my brown ones, and now I cannot return them. If you get a good pair that doesn't have a crazy loose strap, you might love them.

Yes, my feet did slip forward in these sandals. Just the look I wanted, not the fit for the price! My other Born sandals from last year have the same problem. Also the heel was slippery hard plastic. Otherwise, Born is very good for wide feet.

Click on Zappos and buy a pair in every color! I love wearing 4+ inch heels but frankly sometimes my feet need a break. These sandals are stylish and super comfortable. They might not be the best for wide feet but they fit me perfectly.

I purchased these sandals because I wanted a nice comfortable sandal I could wear with a nice dress and also be able to walk in, since I was going on vacation I did not want to take a pair for every occasion. I was very happy, these sandals look good with anything, dress, shorts and linen pants and they are so comfortable. Worth every penny.

The size 8 is too big for me. I generally wear a 7-1/2 so I wasn't sure which size I would need. The 7 fits well and is very comfortable.

For all of those people with "average" size feet -- good luck with this one. TOO WIDE! as is 90% of the shoes I try to buy. My foot slid right through the lower strap. How about making shoes for normal rather than super large feet!!!!!!!

STRAPS ARE AMPLE WIDTH. NOT GOOD FOR NARROW OR MEDIUM WIDTH FEET. So, I ordered the size 10 and I'm fitting 10 in all the shoes I'm trying on. In this Born sandal the size 10 was almost too short for my toes. But, the strap across the ball of my foot was too roomy as were also the the straps around the ankle. This shoe might be better for PLUS SIZED gals. What I do love about this shoe is the look. It's so pretty, but not super high heel, and the footbed doesn't bend which is a MUST for me. I'm really sad it doesn't work for me because I would have ordered more than one color! The gold one that I tried on from a different retailer is a soft metallic gold I wanted to wear to be in my sister's wedding. This shoe is just classy.

I am surprised by how much I love these shoes - I did not want to, not at this price. But I have to admit, they are just as wonderful as everyone said they were and I do not regret buying them. I am a teacher, on my feet in them all day long, and they are heaven. Now, I just have to try and not buy them in every color.

Love this shoe! Wore it for two years straight, every day to work until it started to fall apart. Then, got it fixed at a shoe repair shop and kept wearing it! Love it so much. Feels sexy like a heel, but yet it's great for all day office play. Excellent arch support, excellent back support and excellent walking support. Doesn't hurt that Zappos is amazing and gets it to you on time!

I love these shoes! They look fantastic with many outfits and are marvelously comfortable. The cushion makes them very pleasant for walking all day, and the heel is not too high. I have some issues with my feet, and these hold my foot firmly in the shoe, which prevents muscle pain. A great combination of style and practicality. They are the perfect summer dress shoe for me.

I have to say I did like this shoe. Just was a little bit too high a heel for me & maybe not enough arch support. I am 58 & comfort is everything.

I bought these shoes in a discount box store. I got the coral ones, though I didn't see that color here. It was the color that made me try them on, but it was the fit that made me rationalize the impulse purchase. The heel isn't as high as it looks because of the small platform, so they're not hard to walk in. They're cushioned like I have never seen a heel cushioned, and they fit like a glove. I'm a true 6.5, in every brand, and I sized down. The leather has some give, so breaking them in wasn't even necessary with the smaller size. I figured that a good pair of dance shoes should be tight enough to conform with use, and these will do just that. But this is the real reason for this review: I have a good collection of shoes. I live in the suburbs and my boyfriend lives in Manhattan. My shoe collection is being tested. Not many have passed the "city test" and I've tried my most comfortable flats! I was down to flip-flops and sneakers, which is heartbreaking when you want to feel like a total girl around your awesome boyfriend in one of the best (and most fashion forward) cities in the world. I tried these shoes in the city the second day I owned them, packed a pair of flip-flops in my shoulder bag for emergencies, and wore them for a day of city walking. They lasted about four hours before I changed. I was astonished. Once I break them in they'll be my go-to shoes for city dates. I could dance all night in them. I'm so excited. The only downfall, and I hate that there is one, is that when I wore them with my indigo skinny jeans the ink came off on the top of the shoe, so there's a bit of blue on the very top of my light coral shoes. So be careful, this leather doesn't block heavy dyes from leaving a mark.

As usual, Born does not disappoint. Cute and very comfortable. I have narrow feet though so I had to put no-slip inserts in which helped. Lots of compliments!

I looked at these shoes for several weeks before deciding to purchase them. Born shoes usually fit me great, but I have had a string of bad luck with their strappy-toed sandals. I'm glad I gave these a try! The heel is a good height, sturdy enough for lots of walking, and the footbed is cushy and comfortable even after a whole workday. The straps have no stitching or folds to irritate sensitive toes or feet. I'm so thrilled with how comfortable and versatile these sandals are that I'm considering purchasing a pair in a different color.

Let me start with stating I love these shoes. I had another pair in patent leather that after three years of constant wearing fell apart. I needed to replace them in a hurry for an upcoming vacation and I didn't want to pay full price through Born. This was my first Zappos purchase and I'm please to say the shoes arrived within days of my purchase - without having to pay extra for shipping - a huge plus for me. For future purchase I will always check with Zappos first!

I love the look of these shoes. The leather is very soft, not stiff at all. Alas, the heel is too high for me and they really put a lot of pressure on the ball of my foot so I will be returning them.

I purchased this shoe to wear to a summer wedding. It was surprisingly comfortable, and cute on my foot. I've lived too long to walk around in painful shoes -- no matter how cute they are -- but this shoe is both attractive and comfortable. I read some reviews that said the toe strap was uncomfortable but I didn't find that at all. The color I purchased is versatile, and can be worn with many dress colors...it looks kind of gold metallic without being too shiny.

I love these shoes in the gold color! They go with everything. I have a more petite ankle, so I did have to go to the shoe doctor and have them punch one more hole in the strap and it fits perfectly now.

This sandal is sexy with high-heel look but really has the comfort of a flat! Shows off your pedicure and can be worn all day since the foot bed is very padded. I bought this in five colors. They go with the dressiest outfit (gold metallic and silver) to beach outing in capris to grocery shopping while feeling pretty. I wear size 10 so have big feet that are neither wide or narrow, and these feel like I have nothing on and girls at office (police department) comment on how attractive they look. If they come out in different colors I'll buy those too. I live in hot climate so have worn many sandals and these are the best for all-around use.

This is my new favorite brand of shoes. Enough height and so comfortable I can wear all day. I'm almost 60 so not a shoe I can be on my feet non-stop all day but I can wear them all day at work and into the evening no problem. I turn to Naot for walking/touring. Buy these.

WOW! I love this shoe! I bought them to be in a wedding and I knew I needed to be comfortable for the day, and wow, these shoes delivered! This is a very, very cute shoe and it works well for many different looks. But beyond anything, these shoes are so so comfortable and so worth the money. I love the shoes, I really, really do! I highly recommend these shoes!

I just received these shoes in black and have ordered them in gold as well. The shoe is incredibly stylish and comfortable. I haven’t worn heels in years and I can go all day in these. Who knew I could have cute, strappy sandals that are also comfortable.
