This is my second pair of the Alcalas and they are just as great as the first pair. I hardly wear heels at all anymore because they always leave my feet hurting, but I can walk quite a distance in these with no problems at all. I also get compliments on them all of the time. They can be dressed up or down. Great shoes. Only complaint in general is that Born doesn't offer half sizes in many styles, I sized down for these.

I was so disappointed when I tried this on. Unlike other Born shoes, the width of this sandal is not quite generous and my toes were all cramped. From the picture I thought I can controle the width of the front feet buckle, but it is actually fixed. So if you have wide web feet like mine, then this sandal is not for you. I had to return.

I love the look of this cute sandal, but it was very uncomfortable for me. My feet were hurting me after 20 mins of walking in this shoes.

These were my wedding shoes (in silver). I love them, bought them on purpose to be able to wear again after the wedding. Lovely shoe at a easy to wear heel height, comfortable for all day wear, and they fit my narrow foot. Usually Borns are too wide for me.

I was able to dance on a brick patio for 6 hrs. during a wedding reception. One word = AMAZING!

Love these. They are super comfy and so cute. Don't bother my bunion at all. Just enough heel if you just can't do the super high heel anymore. I go between 8 1/2 and 9. In these I took a 9.

As with all Born shoes, these are stylish with a little flair that makes them different and extemely comfortable! Even with the heel they feel almost like slippers! I always wear a 7 in Born shoes and these fit perfectly. I will wear them all summer long.

Kind of freaky wearing a pair of comfortable shoes that are cute. Love them. Goes perfect with jeans (perfect heel height) and cute with shorts (heel not too high, so you look like a lady).

Best sandals ever! So versatile, can wear with jeans, shorts, or a evening dress. More "sparkly" gold than the picture. Very comfortable.

Beautiful shoe. Well made. Nice padded foot cushion. Too loose on my foot. Didn't feel stable. Too bad. I really like the shoe otherwise. If you have really slim feet this isn't the shoe for you.

I love these sandals! This is actually my second pair of Born Alcalas. Last summer I had a brown pair I wore to death, so I was delighted to see them again this season in such a luscious metallic color. The heel is just high enough to look sexy but not so high that it's difficult to walk in. In fact, I've done day-long garden tours in these shoes and had no pain or problems. I tend to be somewhat wide in the forefoot but don't find the strap to be snug or pinchy. I do wear the ankle strap on the tightest hole, so you might need to add a hole or two if you have really narrow ankles. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this shoe!

Very comfortable sandal for when you want to be a little more dressed up, but still need comfort. Good heel height and nice cushiony insole - I can wear these for hours with no sore feet.

These shoes are very comfortable! I have terrible plantar fasciitis and I can walk all day in these. They are super cute, too!

Yes, they are expensive, but really cute. More for spring and summer. I needed a specific color and they fit the bill.

These are so comfortable I\'ve considered getting a second pair for backup. I wear these to work as a bartender and move around quickly in them, they are not slippery at all. My feet thank you Born.

Very comfortable (and cute) shoe! I wore them for the first time to a party that I stood up and danced all night. My feet still felt great at the end of the night. I said that the width was true but my feet are slightly wide and this shoe worked well for me.

This is the perfect Summer Sandal! The first time I wore this sandal I was on my feet walking for several hours. They did not hurt at all! Wonderful foot bed padding, heel not too high and cute too! They look great with skinny jeans, shorts, skirts. I got this shoe in the gold metallic, but it is not glitzy rather the metallic is very, very subtle. It is not flashy at all, so it makes it a perfect casual everyday sandal. I have tons of shoes in my closet but I have worn these repeatedly since I got them.

This is the sexiest, most comfortable healed sandle out there. They do not feel like a high heal, but they look it. I have a guy with a foot fetish, and he thinks these are sexy. I love the comfort, the content of the sole/heal have a spongy give to them.
