Comfy Loafers - I have the regular Maui before the getting Maui Air for warmer weather. The fit is pretty much the same. The toe box is wide. The shoe weighs like a feather and the insole is very cushy. I wouldn't say that the holes on uppers do a lot of venting...a little, perhaps. The only negative thing, I think, is the insole lining is very slippery with socks on. Forget about the socks when you put them on.

Patagonia Maui Air - Very light. Very comfortable. Good room in the toe box. Has some flex to it. Spent several hours walking around in it and was very pleased. I am thinking about purchasing the other color also.

This is my first time buying this brand and also buying from Zappos, and from online, too. I must say that this product met my high expectation and I feel lucky that it fits just right and I like the design of it.

Extremely lightweight shoe, very comfortable. Sole is a bit softer than I need. Great casual weekend shoe, but not enough support to be an everyday shoe for me. Uppers are very comfortable but have little support so get them a half size smaller, they'll break-in quickly and fit like a glove.

Great looking summer shoe for those in-between occasions. Doesn't breathe terribly well and feet will get hot. Seems well made. Order small. I wear 10.5 in athletic shoe and the 9.5 fits perfect in the Maui Air.

A bit tight. I am hoping they loosen up a bit as I wear them because they are comfy. I have wide feet. Besides the tightness, they are comfortable.

Light weight, comfortable with or without socks. Had to exchange first pair for a half size larger. The shoes are hotter than expected as the 'air vents' are more for show and do nothing in terms of cooling. My feet sweat in these; so if you have foot odor this shoe could pose a problem.

The synthetic lining toasted my feet and the perforations in the upper were useless. The color is more green than brown in contrast to the picture, while true to the name. Overall, the lack of breathability is what killed the shoe's purpose for me.

Had to return. Instep too low, barely got my foot into them. Very cushiony, but the sole looks like it's more of a slipper than a shoe.

You get a feeling of sense and belonging walking down the street with the Maui Airs under your feet. Great feel and look.

I was looking for loafer type shoes to wear when running errands that did not hurt my injured foot still that was recovering. I found these when my Merrell Jungle Mocs started to wear out and were just too warm. They are amazingly light! But not flimsy and have much more stability to them then say a Crocs Santa Cruz or whatever they call them. I put SuperFeet insoles in but found the ones that came with them to have great arch support anyway. They breath even though they are leather and they are so comfortable I forget that I have them on. I even found that I could run in them and that the soles provided pretty good cushioning. I do not mean any great distance but just after my kids in the yard or running in the parking lot in the rain! I will buy another pair when these wear out.

This has become my de facto summer shoe. More protection than sandals, but cooler than sneakers. Slightly smaller and wider fit, which worked in my favor because I have small wide feet.

Shoe fits great and looks good. My only complaint is if you walk too fast the shoe will slip off your foot.

Very light weight. Almost feels like a slipper you can wear anywhere. I found the instep a bit high for me which took some getting used to. Overall, its a great knock around shoe. Also, the foot pad is not as comfortable as the past Mauis that I've ordered in the past.

Bought these for my husband. He finds them very comfortable but just a bit too wide. They are extremely lightweight which is a plus for traveling.

This is a comfortable, but sloppy-fitting shoe. Very loose in the heel, sides buckle out when you walk. Very light, to a fault. No support whatsoever. If I do not walk on the ball of my foot, I come out of the heel. The light design of the shoe ensures that the sides and heel will fold over under my foot when I step back down. Best suited as slippers.

Love these shoes! They are lightweight and super comfy with or without socks. Tried to buy another pair and they are not available. So sad. Hope will be available again soon.

This is my fourth pair so I guess you could say I REALLY like them. I wish they had them in hemp like my first pair. Very comfortable, and they look good. I wear them sock less and they ate great. They are about all I wear now.

My husband has trouble finding shoes to fit his feet comfortably since he has 2 very different arches. He swears nothing fits his feet like Patagonia shoes, and especially these! Very lightweight, very comfortable. You can definitely walk in them all day. He'd wear them year-round if it wasn't for the WI winters we get. Highly recommend!

This is my husband's second pair which he wears as slippers. The first pair were still in good shape but quite soiled, so I got him a second pair which he immediately put on and wears as if they were the ones he has had for years. They are expensive for a pair of slippers, but well worth the cost.

Just buy these, you won't be disappointed. They are light weight and cushy and most comfortable. Time will tell how they hold up, but out of the gate I'm sold on the Maui Air's.

My husband LOVED these shoes the minute they hit his feet! So much so that I ordered him a second pair! They look great with jeans and office wear. He raves about how comfortable & lightweight they are. Definitely recommend buying these!

The air part of the name is definitely appropriate for these shoes. They are super light and breathable. And, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. It is also possible to fold the heal in and then they are like open-heal slippers. I like to wear these around the office because they look close enough to dress shoes, yet are much more comfortable.

These shoes are da bomb if you're looking for something that fits loosely and is super comfortable. It is my second pair. I wear them when I'm strolling around the neighborhood. They breathe well and have surprisingly good support in the sole for a pair of casual slip ons.
