I think this is the first time I haven't absolutely loved a North Face product. I got the lavender and the color matched the picture so no issues there. The size was fine too, I ordered my normal small and it fit. But what I didn't like about it was it was so lightweight! Especially (like other reviewers have mentioned) for no lining in it at all. It was paper thin and I like my jackets with a little more to them. So, I returned it. Still on the lookout for a little heavier jacket.

To be very honest...I like the color of the jacket but thats about it. It wasnt what I expected it to be. It is VERY light. It has absolutely no lining and I thought it would. Its a very cute jacket but a lot lighter than I expected for an $100 jacket.

nice rain coat, but that's all it is. No liner or durability for 100.00$

I liked the jacket but I chose to return it because I thought that it would come with the lining but it didn't; Therefore I returned it.

Nice jacket, however, it's pretty much a box. From armpit to waist it's a straight line and most of us girls are wider in the hips than bust. Unfortunately, had to return it.

Sadly we did not read the description well. My daughter picked it by looks. She was looking for a little warmth. I don't like the "noisy" lining. It's like wearing paper and makes so much noise when you move around. I also think it is a lot of money for a wind breaker. But if you were looking for a name brand light weight rain jacket, then this might be for you.

I thought this jacket was much warmer/heavier than it is. Didn't realize it's just a windbreaker......very steep price for this jacket. I definitely will be returning it.

I bought this jacket to wear around campus on rainy days. It protects against rain pretty well but the color is a little darker than pictured. It isn't a bad color though, just different. Also I ordered an Extra Small but it is still too big on me. It is baggy and long. Its nice for wearing with sweatshirts but it looks odd when I wear it with only a t-shirt underneath. Overall its a good jacket, it gets the job done.

This is my second venture jacket. The first one I ordered many years ago and loved. This one I've got nothing but complaints on however they are mainly cosmetic. For starters buyer beware either I got the wrong jacket or the greystone blue looks nothing like the picture on the website. Maybe I'm colorblind but that looks like a greyish purple to me but it is actually a navy blue. This isn't the first time I've had to return something because the color didn't match the picture. Second I based my size on three question size advisor thinking it was a great new feature but the jacket showed up and swallowed me alive. The jacket itself appeared to be good quality but I had no choice but to return mine. I would highly highly recommend go to TNF store before buying the jacket if you have even the slightest concerned on size or color. With all that said I do plan on ordering another just not until I see it in person first.

For the first time, disappointed with something from northface, the jacket is good for wind, but very, very light weight and for my daughter going to school in Boston, it is not warm. Now have to buy her another jacket to wear under it. Overall nice jacket with good fit otherwise.

This jacket is simply okay. I've been wearing it for the early part of spring in NYC (where it's been around 50 - 60 degrees) and it doesn't really keep me warm, especially when the wind is blowing. However, once the temperature goes over 65 degrees, it becomes really warm and the material begins sticking to my skin. It feels like I'm wearing a trash bag. The only really why I bought this jacket was because it was just a plain old regular jacket and for that reason I like it.

Good jacket for wet conditions, but not for high input activity as it has poor breathability. The major problem I had with the two Venture jackets I owned is that they delaminated without having been worn that often, despite cleaning them regularly to remove sweat.

Was very disappointed with this. I bought this jacket in April and have only just got round to using it in proper rain & it does an awful job of keeping me dry! It just gets soaked through & seems to absorb the water making the inside of the jacket wet

The Venture jacket arrived with the quality one would expect from North Face. I purchased according to the online guidelines and my own experience, but the jacket was considerably smaller than expected. Given how small it was, I was reluctant to even try the next size up. I would recommend the jacket with a caution to order sizing larger.

I ordered this jacket online and ended up returning it the day after I received it. I like the style and the bright pink color, the fact that it has a hood, and that it is waterproof. It was extremely thin and hardly wind-resistant at all... I literally felt like I was wearing a plastic bag. The material is crinkly (for lack of a better word) and make a lot of noise when you move around. If you live somewhere where it is usually warm and rainy, it probably would suit your needs but here in Washington I need something a little thicker for the rainy season as it tends to get chilly.

I am 4'10" and 85lb. Even though I used their fit finder which recommended the XS, it was way too big on me. Although fine on the shoulders sleeves are too long and the width is large. It would be ok if wearing over a down jacket but the shape is not very flattering. Returning it asap. I guess need kiddies size.

This is a nice looking jacket. Great just for going for a walk in. The jacket however, doesn't breath and it causes me to freeze because I get soaked in my own sweat.

I ordered it one size larger and I had to return it. I didn't re-order it, though, because it "cracks" when worn. The fabric is thick and has a "carton" consistency, so it makes a cracking sound and the fabric is hard. Difficult to wear.
