My daughters 4th NorthFace jacket, she loves the jacket. It fits her really well, comfortable.

My women's venture jacket was perfect in color and I loved the natural white "the north face" sign, but it was too big, the sleeves were very long and the chest of the jacket was baggy, but overall it is a very nice and stylish jacket

Nice jacket overall but interior has a thick coating that feels "rubbery" against my skin.

I ordered this jacket for hiking. It is perfect in that it is lightweight, has a hood, and would pack easily in a day pack. I ordered a Medium which turned out to be a bit too loose on me,(I am usually a small, but thought the Medium was best according to size chart) but no fuss returns make this a simple fix. Awesome customer service and product!

This jacket was exactly what we were looking for in terms of weight as well as portability for travel. We needed it right away but could have used an extra small (ordered a small based on measurements and other NorthFace Jackets we have so this one seems to run a little large). Very well made, like all our NorthFace gear!

I looked long and hard for a jacket to check all my boxes and landed on this gem. I bought this for a recent camping trip to Maine and for hiking in the mountains of New Hampshire. I absolutely love the bright color- I plan to use for running as well (I need to be seen!) The jacket is easy to pack although I snagged the mesh pocket liners with the velcro on the first use :( Not a big deal, but a bit of a bummer with new gear. The pit zips are necessary as the jacket doesn't breathe very well, but that is typical of rain jackets. The jacket is a little heavier than the Marmot Precip (which was my second choice, but wasn't bright enough for me).

After 6 great years with my pale yellow rain coat, a TNF rep at their Seattle U-Village store mentioned I could seek a replacement under warranty as my jacket was shedding its lining. I did so and the process was quick - no more than 3 weeks for a new jacket. I opted for budding green and find the color to be lovely (though was disappointed that my first choice, another yellow, was more a highlighter yellow than the pale one pictured on the website). The fit has changed in 6 years though - I previously had a size large and it was very roomy. I selected a side large again and it is very slim fitting without much extra room. It's unfortunate to feel like I need to size up despite staying the same size overall for the past 6 years.

The jacket is very light weight and easy to travel with as it's packable and advertised that way as well. One negative thing about is that it makes a lot of noise.

I love how this rain jacket fits, and how easy it is to carry around. I was a bit disappointed in the difference in color online and in person. It looks like a much softer yellow online.

The jacket is gorgeous. The color is great (I got the grey one). And it stands out from all the black jackets. Nice fit as well.
It is true to size. I usually get a Large, but I got an X-Large in case I wanted to put several layers inside.
Great wind-breaker, really waterproof (I survived next to a huge waterfall), and its breathable.
And when it was extra-cold I used a warmer NorthFace jacket inside (size L).
The only thing I did not like is that the zipper gave some problems,,,

I am really happy with this jacket which is incredibly light and compact! The only con is that the sleeves are way too long; when you wear XS jackets you expect the sleeves to be shorter than usual, but it isn't the case. I have to roll them up and it's not really nice.

I first ordered Small based on the recommendation of the site. But for my 5' 4" and 110 lbs frame, it looked a bit big. I could have still used it but the sleeves were longer than I was comfortable with. I returned and got XS. Fits perfectly. Snug and sleeves are perfect length. I would definitely recommend.

I've worn my jacket once so far, while collecting field data for work. Luckily, it rained while I was out so I got to test it! While my pants were soaking wet, my top half was totally dry. I hope the jacket serves its purpose as well for years to come. I don't love how noisy and stiff it is when I move around, but maybe this will lessen as the jacket is worn in over time. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

I typically wear petite sizes, and this jacket was too big for me even in XS. It's a great jacket and I wish it fit. Note that this is a "relaxed fit" jacket. I would recommend this jacket, so long as you don't need a petite size.

I bring my Venture rain jacket with me every time I go hiking as an emergency rain protection. It's super light weight and folds up small in my backpack. So far I've worn it on three rainy hikes, and it keeps me totally dry. Not warm though, so definitely layer up with a fleece or under-armor type garment. Look forward to wearing it during the summer monsoon season in southwest Utah. I even feel good about wearing it in rough conditions because of the life time warranty!

It has rained here in Washington DC for nearly a month straight in May. This jacket is perfect for the rainy weather and a must have with the zippers under the arm for ventilation. Keeps me from sweating to death on the Metro train commute home and ready to step out into any down pour in my path.

My only problem was it needed to be larger across the hip area for a sweatshirt to be worn under it.

I use it when it's raining and it's very effective! I like that it's lightweight and easy to do every day things in.
