Happy I found this jacket, I have been looking for a North Face rain jacket for a few weeks and found one worth purchasing. It is a great rain jacket and is super lightweight. In colder temps this jacket will not keep you that warm because it is not insulated but I bought this knowing that. If you are looking for a rain jacket, that is not that expensive and will do its job, buy this one! The only real complaint is that the sleeves are a little bigger than I would want, but i'll get over it.

I LOVE this rain shell. I'm 5' 1", 118lbs and the small is perfect. It gives me enough room to wear a sweatshirt underneath without looking baggy or bulky. I did a lot of research before going with this rain jacket and I'm glad I did. This jacket is a high-quality performance piece that is as flattering as a truly functional rain shell is ever going to be. Well worth the sale price!

Such a dependable rain jacket! Also this is easy to wear and hood-up/down. In terms of size, I'm 5'2" and 110lb. FIT FINDER suggested S, but it was too big. Shoulders were off, arms were too long. XS fits well and comfortable over a sweater.

My daughter is in college where it rains a lot in the winter. She was excited to wear this cute jacket over her clothes and stay dry. This is a great rain jacket!

Exactly what I was looking for. This jacket is super lightweight, making it great for packing. As mentioned, there is no lining. I purchased a medium and feel that there is room to layer. So far I have only worn it in light rain, but it definitely kept me dry. I love the rabbit grey color. It is a bit noisy, but I think that is expected from a wind/waterproof jacket. Highly recommend.

Lightweight and well fitted

I had been on the lookout for a good quality, lightweight rain jacket and I found this one on sale. It rained pretty hard the day after it arrived in the mail, so I immediately tested it out. I am very satisfied with it. I ordered a large, so it is slightly big, but I will be able to layer it on colder days. Lots of good sized pockets and the hood stays up on my head.

I needed a waterproof raincoat that would keep me dry when I am in the rain for extended periods of time. I also wanted to be able to wear a fleece top or sweatshirt underneath it and have room to move. I decided on this raincoat in Cosmic Blue Heather color after trying the North Face Resolve Jacket and the Columbia Splash a Little rain coat. I ordered all three coats in a women's medium. I am 5' 1" and 125 lbs. I liked this coat because of the heavier fabric, the pit zips, adjustable hood and the general style. I could also wear this over a fleece top and be comfortable. The hood can be adjusted by a "hidden" cord and toggle on the back.The hood is not detachable. In comparison, the North Face Resolve jacket is made from a lighter weight fabric and does not have pit-zips.It seemed much less "substantial" than this Venture jacket. The size was ok, I liked this North Face Venture jacket much more. I found the Columbia Splash a Little raincoat was cut much slimmer than previous Columbia coats I had in the same size, and narrower than the other two rain coats. The fabric was thinner and it doesn't seem like I would stay dry in this coat in the rain but I did not try it, so I don't know. This North Face Venture jacket served me very well on a recent trip where I was walking around outside in the rain for an extended period of time.I stayed dry and I could open the pit zips if I started to get too warm. I am very happy with this coat, and I returned the other two coats.

Great quality jacket at a great price. Fits a little bit larger than expected. Love Zappos customer service, a little bit too chatty but always accommodating and will do anything to say yes to the customer.

I like that it is light and I can take even inside my backup.

I really like the fit of this jacket. It is very slenderizing but is comfortable to wear. I hope you will be adding the full figure sizes in more styles and colors.

I've worn it with it windy outside and still kept me warm and I also in the rain and stayed dry the whole time. I truly love it!

I bought this jacket for my daughter for Christmas and she loved it. The sizing is true to your website indications and she loved the color. She tells me it is very comfortable. She likes the adjustable Velcro at the wrists.

I received a similar jacket as a gift years ago. The lining was starting to flake off so I contacted the warranty department and they replaced my jacket. I was thrilled!

I love the color. I do get compliments whenever I wear it. They all just love the color.

I bought this jacket for my daughter. She loves it. She wore the jacket in NYC on a rainy day and simply flipped up the hood and stayed dry as we walked around the city. The jacket dried quickly while inside the stores, and was ready for more showers as we walked outside again. She loves the color (quail) and has gotten many compliments. We used the sizing chart when ordering, and it was the perfect size.

I loved my jacket so for Christmas bought two as gifts for my daughters.... So I could have my jacket back :)

I should have look closer at the reviews and bought this in an X-large and notice that it was not lined, it is strictly a raincoat which wasn't what I was looking for, but I loved the color.

Love this jacket. Light weight and has a great cut!
