Don't get me wrong the jacket was beautiful and well made. Everything you would expect from Northface . It was the color ! I expected a soft pink from the picture on the web site but it arrived as a very BOLD fluorescent melon color. Not at all what I was looking for.

The jacket looks nice and warm from online but I personally think the material isn't warm at all and it's a lot thinner than it appears

New meaning to "light jacket". Ridiculously thin, flimsy, what can I say. Disappointed coming from Northface. Too expensive what it is. Nice features but tooooooo thin.

I returned the jacket because it was a windbreaker. Looking at the picture of it online it looked like it had a liner in it but it doesn't. My daughter wanted a heavier jacket, this one was very light weight and was more like a rain jacket.

I ordered this jacket to throw on over a t-shirt when its a little rainy, but when I put it on the first time I was shocked. I have long arms for my torso length so I thought a medium would be a good size and maybe I would be able to have a light hoodie on underneath. I could wear a parka underneath this thing! You literally cannot see my body its so large. Now I have to send it back & wait for a new one to come. Just praying it doesn't rain for a few weeks, otherwise I'm gonna get really wet.
Also, its very loud. Like, I move my arms and people 50 feet away can hear it...
And why do I need zippers under my armpits? I don't plan on sweating in the rain... and if I do, I wouldn't unzip it so that my sides get all wet. How does that even make sense?
I love the color (frosty blue, it actually looks like the picture!) but I'm disappointed to say the least.

I really like this jacket for being light weight and fits really well. I'm highly disappointed that it is not waterproof as marketed and huge reason why i spent the money on it thinking this was it a stylish rain jacket that fit me really well. Standing in pouring rain last night at a concert I was soaked and cold because this jacket is not totally waterproof. I would rethink how this product is marketed.

I bought this jacket about a year ago. My husband has one and loves it. I really like how lightweight and packable it is, however water gets through and I get wet whenever I wear it in the rain. I purchased it to use as a raincoat, but it just hasn't performed as I thought that it would. Rain just seeps in through the fabric, especially on the sleeves. Considering the price, I would expect to keep dry in the rain, so I'm disappointed with the purchase. I would recommend it as a windbreaker, but not as a raincoat.

I purchased a medium. It's a bit loose and the sleeves are a bit long. I will most likely be using this jacket over a hoodie (or a long sleeve). It's really thin and almost weightless. It's pretty good for rainy weather but not very useful for windy/chilly weather. I'm not sure what the "best (athletic) uses" are since I've only walked around Chicago.

I bought this in 3XL thinking that it would give me extra room, I usually purchase 2XL but when I received it, it felt more like an XL. I couldn't even close the jacket. I was very disappointed because I have been waiting to purchase a northface jacket but could never get one in the right size. I tried on a men's 2XL and it fit just the arms are too long but otherwise comfortable.

I have purchased countless North Face jackets, sweatshirts and pull overs in the past.. this jacket however, I had to return. The length was fine but the jacket itself ran very big/wide. It was loud, stiff, bulky and felt cheap. I am still an avid North Face customer but I would not recommend this particular product.

The heather green windbreaker was a nice color, but it fit poorly and material felt like paper. I returned it.

I am very disappointed in this jacket. My friends and family members have the original Venture Jacket, which I love. I figured the Venture 2 would be fairly similar, but this jacket is completely different. This jacket is twice as short as typical North Face jackets. The longer length of North Face jackets is what I love about them, but sadly this jacket does not have that length. The arms are too long, so if I were to order up a size for a longer length, it would not fit in the arm length or the width. The jacket itself is very stiff, and the material is not that of a typical rain jacket. It is too thin and light-weight, especially compared to the original Venture Jacket. The collar is designed and structured to lay flat/open on the chest, rather than straight up like most jackets. This jacket is more of a light-weight, structured, "for looks" jacket rather than a functional, moveable, and durable rain jacket.

It holds up to light rain ok but not in real heavy rain. I have worn mine on several rainy days and come back indoors soaked. After a handful of uses the lining on the inside starts to peel off and then you have little white things that shed all over your clothes. I'm really sorry I paid so much money for this mediocre "waterproof" jacket.

I love TNF Venture Jackets and ordered this TNF Venture 2 in White, wanting to add something different to my dependable collection. Assuming that "NEW" meant "even better" proved horribly wrong. The jacket in white is practically transparent and is so thin that it showed my coloured t-shirt underneath. I was terribly disappointed and returned it. Save yourself the costly return postage...

I have only used my jacket a handful of times & i've had it for less than a month, yet the metal piece on the jacket broke off!!! There is nothing I can do about this because of the north face's policy, which they should fix given that their products are already expensive.

Bought this jacket 6 months ago have only worn it in the rain 3 times tops since I live in California, have washed it maybe once. Wore it with the storms this week and was soaked underneath and the inside of the jacket was wet as well every time I wore it. Very disappointed.

I typically wear the same size in all of my north face jackets so I selected XL. It seemed like a 2X and was very uncomfortable. It was lightweight like I wanted but wasn't what I was expecting.
