These are super casual. Great "jeans and sweater" boot. Easy slip on design makes these very accessible on the go. They fit great inside with room left over for some cushy insoles. My only problem is the heel. The cone shape isn't really for me. I'm just too wobbly in them. And, the solid wood heel makes that loud clopping noise when walking on hard floors. BUT, they're just so 'every day' in look and comfort (other than the heel) that I've decided to keep them. I plan to have the heel changed out for a quieter one that's also a bit lower, by a shoe repair shop. I think they'll work just fine after that.

I didn't keep these because they felt like I could roll my ankles wearing them. Something about the way that the heel scoops in makes it slightly unstable. Also, they just didn't look very nice on.

I am 5'9" and generally were a size 10. My first thought when I pulled them out of the nice Blowfish packaging was that they were cheaply made. The sole looked very thin, and the glue job on the heel was sloppy. The leather was unevenly colored in certain areas, not as if distressed for a look, but as if tanned/dyed poorly. The heel felt awkward, like it could break off easily. Maybe it was just psychological, as I could see the clear glue holding it to the leather. I'd rather pay more and have a more lasting sole.

While these boots are so cute, I had a problem with the heel. When I tried them on I found it a little hard to walk in them. The heel is a little different than what I'm used to, unfortunately, I returned them.
