These sandals are very comfortable. They provide good support and cushioning and they're easy to get on and off. A great summer shoe.

Based on the sheer number of positive reviews (I have never seen a shoe on Zappos with nearly 2000!), I felt confident buying these sandals for kayaking, hiking, and everyday wear. Overall, I have been quite pleased with these sandals: the fit is spot on, the support is excellent, and the durability of the upper is top notch (waterproof). I've only had two minor complaints. A few times, I've gotten a small blister just below the ball of my foot, straight down from the big toe, and the rubbery insole can get a little sweaty feeling when power walking. But then again, I have never had a pair of sandals before that allowed me to power walk for 3+ miles before. Those would be the only reason I'd give these 4 stars instead of 5 in the comfort rating.

My kids have been handed down multiple pairs of Keens from my sister. And I was amazed at how well they held up. So, when I needed a new pair of summer shoes, I looked to Keens first. These are perfect! They are lightweight and do not make the soles of my feet sweaty (like Crocs). I love the toe protection. They are perfect for water play, or just every day. They dry out quickly. Very comfortable. Will be purchasing these again, if this pair ever wears out!

I have to admit that I ordered these shoes doubting that I would keep them. I had never worn this brand or style before, but I was looking for a good, comfortable pair of hiking shoes for my trip to Costa Rica and I knew Keen was a respected product. When I received them and put them on, I was ecstatic! They were a perfect fit (I ordered my true size 8) and were more comfortable than my go-to tennis shoes. The adjustable tie allowed me to customize my fit quickly without the hassle of shoe strings. My foot is a little on the wide side, but I had plenty of room and plenty of support for my high arches. There was ZERO break in time, which was good because I left the next day for Costa Rica. During my trip, I wore them hiking, climbing, zip lining, and even at the beach. They were perfect, dried quickly (it was the rainy season), and never once did I have problems with traction or slipping. I loved them so much that when I returned, I ordered a pair for my mother. She loves hers as much as I love mine. They are still my favorite summer shoes for running errands in comfort!

I'm very fond of these sandals. They needed only minimal adjusting (pulling on the elastic string) to become flawlessly comfortable. I wore them for a long walk right out of the box with no rubbing or blisters. I also like the style: classic Keens with a light touch!

I ordered the Keen Whisper and Newport. I wear a size 11 athletic shoe, but, a size 10 dress shoe. The size 11 Keens are my best fit (tried 10.5 and it was a smidge too small). I am keeping the Whisper because it is a narrower fit which I need. If you don't have narrow feet, you may prefer the Newport. Both have wonderful support and feel quite comfortable. I look forward to taking them on my cruise for zip lining, snorkeling and just plain keeping my feet cool, yet still have the comfort and safety of an athletic shoe.

I love this shoe!. It is such a comfortable all around shoe. I have often just worn it with sporty shorts as a more open summer tennis shoe. Sweat is wicked away by the material and the shoe is sturdy, protects your foot for hiking and is just generally comfortable. I was worried about the shoe rubbing against my heel because you aren't supposed to wear socks with these shoes, but it never bothers my heel. My foot feels cushioned and supported.

I love the Whisper style. The bands are positioned for comfort and contains my little toe which some other models don't. They also run just a little narrower than some of Keen's other water shoes. They fit more like a medium Comfortable with and without socks, wet or dry. Love, love, love the neutral brown.

Most durable shoe I've ever owned. This is my second paid. Bought my first pair (green) 2 years ago and they look like new and I'm not easy on shoes and get wet and muddy more than I like. True to size, cushy and no "break-in" time.

I spend a lot of time hiking on all terrains so I was looking for a wet/dry sandal that would protect my feet. I ordered these after a friend recommended them and boy am I happy I did! The neoprene like lining is so comfortable and protects from rubbing, the toe is a sturdy rubber, and the sole is strong enough to protect my foot but flexible enough to allow for easy movement. I have flat wide feet and often struggle to find something that works for me. Well I have, and I think I need a pair in every color! Highly recommended!

I love these shoes. I bought them to wear to the Asheborro Zoo because I knew I would be walking and it would be hot. They were very comfortable to walk in and I love the color.

I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable, and easy to slip on. They do not really dry that quickly. It took a day and a half after they were submerged in saltwater for them to dry out. Also, I wear a size 6 1/2, but ordered size 7 as Keen usually runs small. They work, but I think the 6 1/2 would have been perfect.

I love my new Keens & wear them almost daily, always to workout on my gym's machines. Very stable & supportive, but also lookin' good! Thanks Zappos for the comfy shoes!

Love them! My first pair of Keens but not my last! Wore them out of the box to job at my gym that has me on my feet for hours at time and traversing the complex which is huge! They are awesome! Plan to wear on trip to Grand Canyon in Spring too! Definitely order half size up as everyone else has said! Thanks Zappos!

These are crazy comfortable. I am a professional gardener and need something cool and water friendly for those long hot days. Haven't tried them out at work yet but will report back. All signs point to perfect.

I wear a 10.5w and ordered a 10.5. Right now they are good length a tiny bit tighter than I would normally wear a sandal but I think they are great overall! And in the past my Keens have stretched out a bit so I anticipate this happening again. Overall a great shoe. I get tons of compliments on the color too!

I've had these for about a month and love them. Very comfortable to walk distance in. I have a wide foot and find them adjustable to that.

I love Keens and bought these for the fun color. They are a perfect fit right out of the box, very soft strapping, no skin irritation. Roomy toe box, soft foot bed. I buy a new pair every summer. My sadness is that I now use an orthotic and can't wear these all the time if I'm doing a lot of walking in the day.

I bought the Keen Whispers before going on a cruise. I wore them all the time except for elegant nights. They were great!

These are awsome. i walked all over disney land for 3 days and my feet did great in these shoes! very comfortable, with lots of support!

Great shoe/sandal. I went up 1/2 size like most people recommended and the sandal fit perfectly. Very comfortable, get lots of compliments.

I have these in the grey/chartreuse and love them! They are comfortable right out of the box and fit my foot perfectly in my standard size. I like the lighter look of the Whisper with its smaller toe bumper, and the zippy color combo can't be beat. I wear them every chance I get, all day long. I'm taking them on vacation for sure.

These are excellent hiking and outdoor shoes! I bought them for hiking in Korea and was able to hike up a 2,600 foot mountain trail and back with no pain! They are seriously comfortable and I didn't have to break them in. They provided excellent support and traction on all kinds or terrain. I did not experience any slippage on wet sidewalks or trails, and I wore them all over Korea with no issues. I first ordered a half-size down, but ended up returning them for my regular size. I am a true 7, and the 7 fit great. Zappos made the entire process easy, as usual!
