These are not the cutest for someone my age, but they are are comfortable. I tried on all the Tevas and Keens available, but only this one worked for 2 reasons. One, I have a low arch and semi-flat feet and these Keens accommodate that. Two, frequently I need a heel pad to raise my heel so it doesn't rub in the back. Obviously, I couldn't use a heel pad and these were the only ones that were low enough that I didn't have to raise my heel.

Love this shoe. It is my second pair. In the years since I bought the first ones the sizes have changed. I had to buy a half-size larger although that is not something usual for me. It runs narrow, so for those of you with super narrow feet who usually can't wear this type of shoe without is slopping around on your foot, enjoy a treat! They look classy, but fun and are very versatile.

I already knew I'd need a half size larger - so no disappointment there. I am in LOVE with these shoes - easy on and off and really very comfy. We like to trek to see waterfalls here in the Blue Ridge mountains/tri-state area. Lots of lakes and rivers to explore and not too far from Myrtle Beach so these should come in very handy. Been looking for a shoe like this and so glad a friend told us about Keen. You should try a pair - you can't go wrong !!!!

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Have recommended to many friends and seen them on their feet! Recommended by my Podiatrist as well made, good support and overall good shoe. Will buy again

I consider myself to have a hard to fit foot (I'm a 10 1/2, and B-C width) (and why I like Zappos so much), and these shoes are comfortable out of the box. I wanted a pair of sandals that could get wet in the rain, and got them for a trip to Hawaii. I wore these more than hiking shoes because they are comfortable, and were great for hiking.

These are wonderful! I immediately bought another pair in aqua from my beloved Zappos! We went to the coast and I only brought these for everything! Walking, out to dinner, hiking, and beach strolling. They slip on easily, are water proof, and are cute. This is a hard-working shoe, I admit that I like them better than my Tevas. These have the protective toe, they fit great, protective without being heavy, my feet do not sweat as much in them; just feel more balanced, and I think them more stylish. The black ones look like velvet. I love these shoes! I may have to get another pair... red....

Keens are the best shoe in the world. I have several styles. Zappos is my go to online store for Keens as they offer the best selection and always have my size.

I bought this to use as a water shoe for the lake. They work great. I have terrible foot issues and these are awesome. They provide good support on uneven terrain, they float, they are comfortable and an overall great shoe! I wouldn't wear them to the mall as they are not my style but they are a great shoe!

I was really hoping these would be narrower in the toe box, but they're too wide for my feet. I was also hoping they would have more of an arch support. I really like the look of these shoes. They seem to be well-made.

Well worth every penny. I put them on and walked six miles in 100 degree temps, and not one blister or sore area. I'm sold.

These are my first pair of Keen shoes and I can honestly say they are by far the most comfortable casual shoes I have ever worn.

I bought these shoes because I needed some great walking shoes for the dog park; we trudge through sand & wade in the creek on a daily basis, & I have already gone through 3 pairs of sandals this summer. These shoes are absolutely perfect! From the picture I thought they'd have laces that required tying -- nope. They slip right on, are soft & supple right out of the box, & don't require any buckling, tying, or other manipulations to secure them to my feet. I just pop them on & go! They are much sturdier & better for walking than the Merrells & Tevas I'm used to wearing. My feet don't hurt anymore at the end of the 4-mile walk. And they are better than closed sneakers because they allow water & pebbles to flow through -- I don't end up walking around with sloshy water-logged shoes at the end of the day. The only negative feature, if one could even call it negative, is the size. You must order a half to full size larger than your usual shoe size. But I had read the reviews & knew about this in advance, so I didn't have to return them for a larger size. I bought these shoes in blue, & now want to buy another pair or two -- they offer so many great colors! Highly recommended.

These are the most comfortable summer, hot weather, in the barn, in the water, on the blacktop, in general running around shoes! No breaking them in period, just put them on and walk all day long! Extremely comfortable!

I purchased these for a trip to Hawaii and was very pleased with their comfort, active style and versatility. They were great for the beach, but I also hiked several miles in them on a trail that required several river crossings, and they were great. They obviously don't hold your ankle as much as a real hiking boot, but I was pleased with the traction in the tread and the fact that they could get wet/muddy and I could just rinse them off later. They also kept my feet cool under any circumstances. Sometimes when walking, dirt and pebbles can get into the shoe, but they don't come out easily. Not a big deal for me but I can imagine that it could bother others. The one thing that I would change is that they take about half a day (or more) to fully dry once they are wet. I wish they would dry off faster. Even so, I feel that overall, they were truly a great buy!

Loved these shoes. Wore them on my hiking trip to Sedona and they were perfect. Comfortable and adorable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs summer hiking shoes.

I ordered these for hiking and outdoor activities. They are waterproof as well. I normally wear a size 7 but ordered a 7 1/2 and glad I did. They fit perfectly. Like that they are not oversized and clunky.

My Keen Whispers have rapidly become my favorite outdoor play shoes. No more picking my way on the beach front rocks. I march up stony, steep inclines like a teenager. [I'm 76.] I can't do without them.

These shoes fit larger to me than my usual but they are so comfortable! I wore these several times on vacation and were great on sidewalks.

I am sorry I didn't discover Zappos sooner. They carry so many high quality great brands in so many styles; prices are terrific. I find Keens wonderfully comfortable and also stylish. This particular Keen style, I find, has a certain elegance -- somehow a touch of Roman sandal. The color is delightful. Free shipping, lightning fast service. Exchange/return couldn't be easier. I love Zappos. Really. This is my genuine, heart-felt testimonial.

I got these for a summer camping trip where we were going to be tubing in a river, hiking and biking. I needed something versatile so I didn't have to pack multiple pairs of shoes. These are great! They provide great gripping during hiking and on wet surfaces - they clean up great and dry fairly quickly. A great all-around shoe and I'm getting them for my kids, too!

I've owned at least 5 pairs of Whisper (in various colors). They are absolutely my go-to shoe in the summer. They are substantial and comfy enough for a lot of walking. They're also super cute -- and I love the colors. The only issue I've had is that after a summer of continuous use they do breakdown a bit, and need to be replaced. Definitely worth it though!

Really wanted to keep these. Pretty colors, light and comfortable feel, nice style. But toe area runs medium width, too tight for those of us who really need the wide in the forefoot.

Very comfortable, and good to wear to any event! At least in So Cal, these are dressing UP from the usual flipflops. I might buy a size up from your usual because in my usual size, my heel goes to the very end of the shoe in the morning but it doesn't feel wrong. I would love to have 5 pairs of these in many colors, but they are kind of expensive.

I wasn't sure about these as I rarely wear shoes without socks, but I put them on to wear them around the house and just never took them off for the entire day. Extremely comfortable, and like all Keen shoes the roomy toe box and toe protector are great.

I read the other reviews, so ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally do. That turned out to be a mistake for me and they were too long. I then ordered my usual size, and they were perfect. Thank you Zappos for having such a wonderful & easy return policy! I love the sandal. I own a couple other Keens so knew the quality and comfort would be there. I can see why these are pretty popular: they are a less-clunky look but very functional.
