I was a bit lost on what size to order because a few reviewers said the shoes felt a half size smaller, but I went with my regular size rather than going up. I'm happy that I chose not to size up, although half a size bigger would probably have been just fine. These just came in today, so I haven't given them an outdoor trial, but I did walk around the house in them and they're very comfy. Perfect river shoe as they are lightweight, will drain easily and still have to protection for climbing on the slippery rocks.

I have been wearing these shoes non-stop since October 2013! I live in the tropics and wear them as as everyday shoes/sandals. They can get wet hiking on the beach ans will dry off quickly. They are light weight and easy to get on and off. I am about to get my second pair. I would love to know the difference between these and the other similar water shoes.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Hawaii. I wear and 8 M and these shoes fit just right, true to size, they are very comfortable. I saw a lot of others wearing them too. They are clunky and not very attractive, but oh well!

I rarely review items I purchase (I know, I should pay it forward for all those reviews I depend on)...anyway, I bought these for a trip to Africa during the rainy season and for touring around in cape town etc. and I love these shoes. Right out of the box they were so comfortable I never put my sneakers or other sandals on at night...I especially liked the understated brown because other colorful Keens drew too much attention, I thought, to my size 9 wide foot. Problem feet, I might add; poor arches, bunions, metatarsal surgery...these are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they dried quickly after my drenching visit to Victoria Falls. Great traction on the bottom too so I felt very confident walking over slippery stone paths around the falls. I'd love it if they came out with an all grey pair so it'll go with my black outfits. Buy these sandals, you won't regret it!

Get these water shoes now! Bought a pair for my daughter and myself for water play on an adventure trip. The neoprene on the inside of the straps ensure that you have a smooth, comfortable fit. And the shoe itself is very flexible. Bonus: all the fun colors.

The "Whisper" is a lightweight, good looking, and comfortable shoe except for a slight rubbing on my right ankle which caused a small blister on the first wearing. I normally wear a 7 and had to return the first pair for a half size larger because the 7 was too short.

Great shoe. Fit to a T - I am normally a 7.5 and this was almost too small. Very comfortable.

Super comfy right out of the box. My foot is short, wide and hard to fit. I also have issues with plantar fascists so shoe shopping is no fun. A little clunky looking, but they're for sport/recreation so I'm not really concerned about it. Looking forward to wearing these for upcoming cruise excursion activities!

I ordered these at the last minute for my trip to New Zealand....although I might have looked like a duck, they were most comfortable. Loved them...

I always wear a Women's Size 11 but this shoe runs a tad short so must return it. Absolutely love the style but can't order anything larger since 11 is the maximum size. Have ordered many shoes from Zappos and they are the greatest. They are excellent when it comes to returns, luckily I haven't had to return a lot.

I love these sandals! They support my feet so well that I can wear them all day. I have no problems with rubbing or pinching. The craftsmanship is top-notch.

I love the fit (ordered 1/2 size up like the other reviews said), but I wasn't happy with the color. The Bluestone/Neutral Grey was much much darker in person than in the picture. I'm going to return them and get the jade green instead.

I bought these to replace my Newport Keens. I like these much better. They are lighter & more stylish. I wore them all over the Galapagos Islands for a week. Whether going over lava rocks, grass, cement, shallow water, or climbing onto boats, they were perfect. Now that I'm home, I wear them whenever the weather allows. They feel like comfy bedroom slippers. I'll be buying more!

Great shoes right out of the box! I found these to be more comfortable than athletic shoes and recently wore them almost everyday on a trip to Hawaii and San Diego. They provided good stability and traction on the beach, hiking trails, through the river or just walking around town. Having the toes covered is a plus but my foot did not get hot when I wore them all day. Would highly recommend this sandal.

I loved my brown Whispers so much, I ordered these black ones and then another summer looking pair. Total comfort. Good arch support, but the heel is not built up so much that it throws your weight forward. Love them!

My first pair I bought in 2008, and finally threw them out in 2012! This was my casual shoe during my week long hike to the Inca Ruins in Machu Picchu (dirt, dust, mud, water) and they did not fail me. They run true to size, but since I wear socks with them during winter, I order a half size larger and this time, in the pretty green color! Definitely recommend!

These shoes are the best thing that ever happened to my feet! I've had a lot of spine issues and 2 surgeries. Been troubled with severe foot and toe cramps. these are the best. Only wish I could wear them in the winter too. I would rather wear them than tennis shoes for walking as well. They did seem a half size too short in length so I had to order a 9 when I usually wear a 8.5, but once I got them, I didn't want to wear any other shoe.

Purchased for a rainforest/beach expedition, these shoes proved to be sturdy, comfortable, and perfect. I could even do some wet-conditions hiking in them. Will be good for beach walking. Size runs mostly true, perhaps a bit on the small side, so order accordingly.

I bought these shoes for a trip to the Galapagos. I wore them on wet landings and then on long hikes over lava fields. They were comfortable, held up with no obvious wear, and, I think, look good. I like the cool sandal style and the color. Have not tried other brands, but I am completely happy with these.

My husband and I had to laugh at the service. I just asked for standard delivery, but my shoes arrived the next day! I have no idea how they did that! Also, their stock is great. I wear a 10½, a tough size, but very few styles did they not have in my size. I am very happy with Zappos. The prices seem good. I bought another pair in another color because they feel so good on my feet.

I love them so much, I bought them in 10 colors! They are a GREAT alternative to closed sneakers! The cord allows for excellent support. No matter where I go, I get compliments on them! Color selection is terrific. You will NOT be disappointed with this versatile shoe.

Keen Whisper feel so comfortable on my feet. I am looking forward to next spring to wear them.
