Ordered my regular size 9. These fit perfect and live up to their name in comfort! I completely forget I'm wearing them. - Even on my very first wearing for a mile-long dog walk. They have great traction (no sliding on my dusty wood floor!), great lateral support (heel & entire side of foot never slide off footbed, even when the giant dog sees SQUIRREL! and yanks hard on the leash). Only down side is the arch support is only mild to moderate, so I'm not sure if they would be as good as my higher-arched Chacos for an hours-long hike or all-day at a theme park.

I bought these sandals for trips on a sailboat, as they got good reviews from Practical Sailor. Overall they fit pretty well, with moderate arch support, and good grip in the wet. I may add a metatarsal pad to increase stability, but I think they are better than the Tevas I've previously worn, and I like the fact that even though they hold my foot securely they are easy to slip on and off. I did try the Rose model, but I don't think those qualify as stylish despite the attempt, and if I'm going to get a sandal for sailing I'd rather get one that is best suited to it. I didn't buy these for stylishness, but I can live with them. I compared these to the Clearwater CNX and the Whispers felt more substantial with a higher heel drop and better ankle strap placement. The shock cord on the Clearwaters is also thinner and doesn't look like it will last as well. The Coffee Liqueur color on the Whisper is darker than in the photo, so I went with Taupe.

I'm a 7 1/2 and ordered a 7 1/2. they fit great! Love the color.

This is my second pair of Whispers -- the last pair had a good run of about 10 years. I bought them a 1/2 size larger than my normal so that I could wear them with socks if I wanted to (nerd alert) when I'm traveling or hiking and it's a little chilly. I think this iteration of the whisper is even more light-weight, which is a plus.

Quality made shoe that’s great for hiking or walking around town.

purchased a pair of these several years ago and wear them so much i wanted another pair. The purple print is fun and makes it feel more feminine. It felt very similar to the previous pair but don't think it's quite as cushiony as the original pair. Still pretty comfortable and no break in period needed. my first pair are still in good shape so construction was high quality and assume/hope these will be as well.

Am improved design from previous models worn. So comfortable and well built, keeps my feet cool, I use them for walking my dog twice daily. Changed to red from a pretty grey/turquoise pair, love them.

I always buy Keens, usually Newport H2. I buy them for their durable, non-slip, toe-saving goodness. The Whispers are good, right now a little tight across the top, but hopefully they break in well. I try to run em for about 25K mile/pair. They've always been winners. Now I'm gonna take a walk around Mexico in these new ones

I have been trying to find a pair of Keen hiking sandals for some time. Every pair I ordered was so wide I felt like i had duck feet wearing them. After reading reviews of the current Whisper models--which claimed they were not as wide as typical Keens--I ordered my size (9m) and an 8.5. Glad I did because the 9's were about an inch too big . The 8.5's are pretty much perfect, although still roomy. Wore them right away for a 5 mile walk and they felt great, no blisters or backaches the day after. I am delighted to have these now since I find sneakers too hot to wear in the summer. I have high arches and a high instep and the adjustability of these sandals accommodates my anatomy well. Beware that they run BIG in size, so order the next size down for comparison.

Absolutely perfect, comfortable, and strong for the outdoors and in stream.

I am a fan of KEENs, but my old pair is made of leather and takes forever to dry. These are much lighter, the material dries faster, and the openings are wider so it breathes nicely. It runs a bit large, but not so much that I'd return.

These are super functional for things like walking on the beach, white water rafting, waterfall walks, etc.

So happy with these shoes, perfect for heading to the garden directly from my morning walk. Fit is great for my feet, I have a wide front of my foot but a narrow heel and flat arch. Sole does not get smelly like my last gardening shoes. Just throw in the washer when they get dirty, come out looking like new.

I normally wear 11.5-12 but mostly 12 because it's hard to find 11.5. First bought this style in a 12 and they were too wide and too long. I thought the 11 might be too wide and too short but it's perfect!

I love this keen because it is not too heavy a shoe but still a sturdy design. It fits true size.

You just can't go wrong with a Keen sandal. I bought this pair to ride my bicycle with. I did a short 30 mile ride to break them in. NO issues...comfortable and ready to go all day. 5 stars!!!

I have long been a fan of these particular Keens. My last pair came apart within a year. Very unusual. In this style, I needed to get a half size larger. Very comfortable for long and short walks. Easy on and off. Have loved these for many years!

I love keen shoes. I will tell you I have a wide foot. I ordered 10 1/2. They were snug the first few times that I wore them. They stretched some which I expected. I have walked 20 + miles the week after I bought them. They are great..

Bought these before a camping trip where we would be spending lots of time near / on lakes. They fit true to size, and felt comfortable from the moment I tried them on. I ended up wearing them immediately for hikes of ~2-3 miles. They were perfect for the mix of hiking / lake swimming / kayaking that we did. I now understand why these are a cult favorite! Would absolutely recommend & buy again.
