I ordered both the Keen Whisper style and the Keen Retro style -- both in the tie-dye color -- to see the difference between Whisper's big-toe bumper and Retro's full-front bumper. I felt the Retro style looked too bulky on my narrow feet, and I don't plan to be in really rocky environments where I'd need the full-front bumper, so I returned them. I've had a pair of black & gray Whispers for several years (and wear often), and wanted to have a fun, colorful option. This new pair is a little stiff, but it's my first day wearing them, so I'm hoping they'll break in a bit. I'm normally a size 9.5, but my old pair of Whispers are a 10, so I ordered the same this time around. Luckily, my slightly-narrower right foot doesn't slide around too much if I tighten the bungee laces a bit. I'm looking forward to these being my go-to shoes this summer!

Super comfortable, I could wear these all day long!

I tried a number of styles and sizes. I’m usually a 9.5 and needed a closed toe shoe for water to replace another brand that is no longer being made. This style has a slightly smaller toe profile than most Keens which is why I decided to get this model. The 9.5 fit but felt like if my feet were to swell when hot, they’d be too small. The 10 was not too big, had good width for my foot and are comfortable. The shoe has good souls and support, so can really work for water activities and light hikes.

I love these! They fit right out of the box and very comfortable!

I love Keen’s. Once you get one, you know the others will fit. I got these to replace another fording-streams-type Keen sandal, popped them on, went for a 2-mile walk with my dog. No blisters, no discomfort. Also super cute!

This is my fifth pair of Keen Whispers. They are my most loved go-to shoes. Every year or two I get a new color. 2020 was black with dark pink and green rose ribbons on the straps. Love those, and love this year's pair of taupe/coral.

These shoes are a godsend! I’ve had a lot of swelling/pain on the top of my foot. They are the only shoes I’ve been able to wear recently until I see the podiatrist. They will be great for mucking around this summer. I would definitely order up a half size.

They feel comfortable and easy to walk. Best choice I've found, and they are highly recommended by my sandal expert friends.

These are perfect for bad feet and no show toes. Very comfortable to walk distances in. Love the red!

I wear a size 9.5 in Brooks and the 9.5 in these was perfect - I have a normal width foot. Very comfortable!

I really like the looks of this shoe and I've always loved Keen shoes. But I have a low ankle bone and this model rubs the bottom of my ankle bone so I'll return and keep the other one, the Rose model.

I had purchased a pair like this eons ago and have worn them to work, church, and always when walking. They have lasted through it all but I have kinda worn down the left side so ordered this pair as my 'new' pair to wear to church, etc. These shoes are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.

I love my Keen Whisper sandals. This is my fourth pair.

I really need to get out and walk in them (it’s a little cold right now). Then I’ll really know how I feel about them.

I love these shoes but have learned from experience that they run 1/2 size small. I always order 1/2 size up!

I wear these shoes ALL the time! So comfortable and easy to wear all day with my bad back problems. I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes that don’t aggravate my back and these shoes are awesome!!

They look like Keens but, if you like that look and/or if you don’t care about style, these are the best sandals. I wear them to hike and just around town. They are my favorites.

I got an 8-1/2 and it fit fine. I wore an 8-1/2 in my 20’s so it was nice to see something correctly sized. They are very nice sandles. Love the color.

I loved my last pair of Keen Whisper sandals so much, the elastic eventually became stretch out after years of wear. I wore them hiking through creeks, camping, swimming, and golfing. Great shoes!

This is a follow-up from an earlier review. I usually wear an 8.5 women's so I ordered that size first. The length was okay but the ridges on the footbed rubbed against my left toes. I ordered a size 9 and the new size is entirely comfortable. Plus, the larger size is a tad easier to put on. The finger pull on the back of the heel is really helpful.
