Loved the shoe. The sole was too squishy and allowed my already fallen arch to fall farther. No arch support. I need a rigid sole with a good arch.

First I ordered my normal size, 6.5M, but too snug. Returned and ordered a 7M. That "fit", but the heel feels too low, hurting my back. The shoe still fits snugly and by the end of the day my feet are swelling through the cut outs. Heel lift won't stay in because the heel is open. It's ugly too, but all shoes of this style are ugly. I was looking for a cooler walking shoe to wear every day in the hot summer. This isn't the one for me.

I'm a long-time Keen sandal fan. This design is different -- the loops that control how tightly you can cinch the cord are attached near the top, rather than along the outer edges of the foot-bed like in earlier models. As a result, there's much less ability to adjust the width. On the plus side, this design allows you to adjust the heel strap, which the old one didn't. The inability to adjust the width was a deal breaker for me.

Great size and fit for my feet when I go between 8.5 and 9 and have wide feet. Problem is, the material already started ripping at the straps after 2 days of wearing. I was not pulling or being rough with them.

I bought these in size 8 and 7.5 because other reviewers said they had to size down. Actually, my regular size 8 fit best. I've had Keen's in the past that were so supportive and comfortable. These were not. I get the fact that the sole couldn't be all that cushioned because it's a water sandal but these were hard and had absolutely no arch support. My right ankle pronated terribly in these sandals. I had great hopes for these but was sadly disappointed.

I ordered a 9, but they fit my daughter, with narrower feet, who wears an 8.5.

I love Keens, but this one runs tight and high. My instep hurt just wearing them at my desk, and my feet, which admittedly are a bit wide, felt like they had a girdle on. Have to send back :(

I have had two pairs of Keen Whispers in the past. I'll be honest and say that I have never really thought these were stylish shoes, but they were so cool and comfortable that I pretty much wore them every day. The footbed had cushioning almost equivalent to a walking/running sneaker. I went to buy another pair and I am so disappointed to find that the foot bed now feels harder and less flexible than it used to. It does not have the same amount of cushion for me. Also, the shoe feels narrower even though I am wearing the same size shoe that I have had in the past. I tried two different pair hoping that the first one was just off but I'm better off just keeping my old Keen Whispers. I am disappointed because these used to be excellent shoes for me.

I'm a pretty severe overpronator so my review comes with that grain of salt. I liked the enclosed toes and the durability of these sandals. Unfortunately they offer no arch support and it felt like they were making my overpronating even worse. My feet get very sore after wearing these for any extended period of time.

How can anyone think this shoe has arch support. It's cute, true to size and has ZERO arch support. Not good for my plantar fasciitis so back to Zappos they go.

These are by far the stinkiest shoes I have ever owned. The insoles are a supposedly odor-resistant polymer, but they most definitely are not. I love Keens and have had many pairs of them, but these smell horrible even after just a few hours of wearing them. I know. You might think it's just my feet. It's not. I have never EVER had a pair of shoes smell this bad. I have to hose them down on the regular. No joke. I literally have to hose them down. Why do I still wear them? Because they're cute, they fit well and they're all around great shoes. But their anatomic odor resistant insoles don't do their job.

loved these until I wore them in the water and wet after. my heel slipped around so much that it actually made the bottom of my heals sore. Bummed because I likes these.

I purchased two pairs of this shoe, one in agate gray and one in coffee liqueur. Neither pair looked like the color shown on the website, but I liked the gray --which looked more like a taupe color in the picture -- so I am keeping them. I ended up returning the coffee colored ones as the brown color was not very appealing.

The picture that Zappos shows is not what the shoe actually looks like. The sole is a cream white (as shown in the video- not the first image shown). I should’ve scrolled down farther on the page and I would’ve seen the video... my fault. In any case, I thought the sole was grey as shown in the picture, not cream white as shown in the video. I really don’t care for the cream white look, so I’m returning them. They were also a little wide for my feet with little to no arch support.

I bought these becauase I have several pairs of KEEN Whispers from several years ago; they were great and very comfortable. This new pair, not so much. The soles were not as soft and I don't feel like I could wear them all day long like I did my last few pairs. I have a very narrow foot and the previous pairs were great. This new pair seems to be wider (great for all you folks that wanted a wider shoe) and just a stiffer feel all the way around. Sort of disappointed.

Shoe size overall was smaller, more narrow than expected. As well, you can't loosen/tighten as you would think you might be able to based on the style.

Disappointed. This sandal fit fine, but was uncomfortable to wear. I will be returning them.

I went up a size per reviews. That was not needed. My normal size was a good length, but the sandal was too tight. Ended up getting a different style of Keens that worked much better!

I loved these shoes. They fit me well (not small as others experienced). But there is practically no arch support. A deal breaker for me. I returned them.

The sandal looks nice. I have high arches and there is no arch support. The foot bed is hard and nothing special. I am thin and these were also very tight around my ankles until I wore them several times. I am very disappointed with these and the amount of money I spent on them.

usually keen is great for quality, these are not made well and the rubber used is a weird texture. i wear a 5.5 and the 5.5 was true to side. there is no arch support but typical of a water shoe. The grape color, which i got, is a true purple, much brighter than the picture shoes. nice purple color. they also tend to squick when walking a bit. maybe after more ware they'll stop. overall okay shoe. keep looking to find a better one.

Felt super stiff and it felt like there was a bump under my left toe. Cute shoes but I’m returning because of comfort. Boo

I love keen whisper and need to replace a few pairs. The sole of the red is not as shown with light gray/dark gray sole. The color is more like a wierd off white/beigey color like that of grape kiss or safari. Do not like.

I have tried and tried to find Keen sandals that work, but the straps always hit my little toe exactly at the top of the nail. Cannot imagine this would ever cease to bug me, so I have once again sent back a pair of Keen that I could really use if the straps were designed differently.

The shoes fit well and felt true to size. The materials were comfortable on my feet. I felt that the back of the shoe was too low, and I wished it had been a little higher up. While the elastic of the adjustment strap runs all the way down the length of the shoe, I found that tightening it only really puts pressure on the bone at the top of the foot, making it uncomfortable to tighten.
