Very narrow opening !!

and by river I mean also stream, ocean and just plain light dry hiking breathable shoe. Supportive, comfortable and attractive!

They fit my narrow feet and good support for high arches. Comfy too.

These sneakers are stylish, comfortable and pretty with all the colors on them. They look great with long pants, capris or shorts. Plus they were on sale. Enjoy yourself if you purchase them.

Good shoes for casual wear and easy hiking.

I have been buying Keens for years! I love the waterproof hiking sandals or used to. Just like every other company, Keen has sold out! Making cheaper quality product for more. The Keen brand was known for wide toe box and these whispers that I ordered are narrow just like other brands of shoes!! No wide toe box, no sizes available in wide width. Shoe width is narrow making it uncomfortable! This brand is way too expensive to be wearing uncomfortable footwear! I have winter boots and previously purchased waterproof sandals that I wear everyday! They are well used hence why I ordered new ones. But this company has decreased quality and fit to charge the same price! So disappointed in the Keen brand! There is no room for my toes. Also the toe cover material hits the nail of my big toe! This is very disappointing! And I regret spending so much!

Attractive and versatile.

I needed something I could wear to walk down the street just under a mile to the beach, and then walk along the beach and into the water (and in some places, rocks). In the past, I've needed to wear one pair of shoes and bring along another, but these are perfect for the entire journey! Keens are so comfortable and sturdy, not to mention attractive.

Exactly what I was looking for in a summer sandal. Comfortable, good for all situations, great style and comfort. Awesome Sandal for all summer occasions.

I put them on and headed out on a canoe camping trip for a few days. They were perfect! No issues. I appreciate that I could cinch them up when I needed to (like on a portage with a boat on my shoulders or when swimming) and loosen them for a lazy paddle or time at camp.

I love these shoes and wear them a lot. They are comfy and cool and go with a lot of outfits. They have quickly become my favorite casual summer shoe. I wish they were easier to slip on, but that won't stop me from buying more styles.

These are my 2nd pair. I wore out my first pair after many years of wearing.

Love my Keens. Great fit, really comfy and don't need to be worn in! Love the neutral colors, will go with anything!

The shoes are wonderful these are not my first pair and wont be my last.

My previous pair of whispers was starting to fall apart after a couple of years wear. I bought this pair as a replacement. At first wear, it felt a bit tight (but to be fair I have been wearing my old pair for several years), but after a while of wearing them, walking around, and going to work in them it got more comfortable. Plus I love the color of these shoes! I've already gotten compliments on them. Overall, it's a great shoe to wear whether you're on the go or just walking around the neighborhood.

Such a great comfortable water sandal. Wore them all weekend at the lake and were perfect.

I love my new summer sandals. They go with everything and most importantly they keep my feet comfortable during long walks.

I love the color and the excellent quality of materials used to manufacture this shoe. Unfortunate for me, I have a wide foot and I struggle to put the shoe on my foot.
