I really like these shoes and would highly recommend them. I bought them to take away with me on a trip to the Galapagos Islands. I have a narrow foot and because you can adjust the width somewhat, they fit me perfectly. I risked taking them without breaking them in or wearing them at all before I left and I was very pleased -- they were so comfortable. I also liked that they were less bulky and not as "klutzy" as some of the Keen models other people on the trip were wearing. I bought the light green color - they go well with khakis!

First let me say that I love Keen shoes. I have 8 pairs of shoes, sandals and boots. However, their sizing is annoying. I typically wear a 9M and I have Keens in 9, 9 1/2 & 10. I ordered the Whisper sandal in a 10 and had to send it back for a 9 and that is still generous in length. It seems to have a little less arch support than my other Keen styles but I like the lighter feel on my feet. I know I will enjoy these sandals but how about some consistency in the sizing, Keen?!

I own two other pairs of Keen's hiking shoes and leather sandals which I have enjoyed for the last few years. They offer wonderful arch support and are extremely durable and comfortable. The Whisper style takes them to a new level! They are very light weight and narrower while providing the same support and comfort. They don't feel clunky on my feet. They will be perfect for our summer water adventures.

I ordered these shoes the week before I left for Disney World, they came the next day, they fit perfect. Other Keen shoes had run a little wide for me but these were just right. I wore them all day most days without socks but needed socks some days and they were comfortable both ways since they adjust easily, would have liked a slight more arch support, but otherwise very comfortable. On wet days they were perfect, they dried out very quickly. glad I made the purchase.

Great shoes. Very lightweight and slimmer design than your average Keen sandals. Often Keens look odd because of the huge toe, but these manage to give protection while looking well proportioned. Note: you do lose something with the lightweight design. These are less protective than the other styles, but it hasn’t been a problem for me... and I’ve been hiking on sharp lava rock.

These blow flip-flops outta the water. They are comfy and I could actually hike in them on a hot winter day. The arch support is moderate, but definitely superior to any other totally breathable sandal that I’ve tried before. The look of the Nile/Grey is so neutral that it goes with any outfit.

I bought these Keens for a trip to Hawaii. They are very comfortable and are great for light hiking and kayaking or other water sports. Keens normally fit wide and are slightly smaller. I went with half a size bigger and this style fit more narrowly, so I was very happy with them. I did have to order a bunch of different styles to finally pick out this pair. I do think it’s possible other Keens styles may be even more comfortable, but these are the best looking and best fitting for me.

I ordered these shoes for a trip to the Galapagos Islands. They were perfect for the water and easy to hike in too. They were so comfortable and never rubbed even after hours on my feet. This particular style, Whisper, is more streamlined looking and the toe isn't so bulky which I preferred. Overall, an excellent purchase.

Looking for the right athletic sandal that was breathable, waterproof and secure on my feet. This shoe fits great! I have narrow feet and this hugs them well. (I also tried the Keen Venice H2 but the toe box area was too wide for me.) I have the blue color and it's snappy and fresh. The bungi zip closure is nice and quick to adjust and my feet feel safe with the toe protection. The package says these are machine washable, so that's a bonus. Very comfortable footbed with excellent arch support... not too much or too little, just right. This shoe makes a great first impression! I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 and ordered an 8... perfect fit.

I love my keen whispers! They are so comfortable and sporty looking. I got them to go on vacation. I walked around sightseeing all day and they were great. I have another pair of keens but they are kind of "blocky" looking. These are more feminine and attractive. I highly recommend these shoes.

Love this new style. Very lightweight and very comfortable without any breaking in. The fit was normal, I usually wear a 10, I ordered a 10 and 10.5. The 10 fit perfectly. Used them for the first time fly fishing in Belize, worked great!

These are lightweight which is nice, lighter than the Newport h2.The Newports feel heavier, but my foot feels more secure in the sandal. I have a narrow foot, more toward medium and wear an 8.The right shoe is different than the left. My foot is right at the end of the right. This is not so with the Newports, the right is not as short. I like the color; kind of a strong burgundy.

I ordered the shoes Monday night in Pleasanton, California and they arrived on Wednesday in Los Angeles where I was visiting my parent. Excellent service. A few days later we left for Costa Rica and I wore them almost the whole time. VERY comfortable and versatile. I highly recommend them.

I really like these shoes! I have been looking for a pair of Keens for a couple of years, but kept striking out on finding theright pair. Many Keens are very wide across the front of the shoe, making the foot look odd, and they can also be heavy. These shoes are proportioned well, are extremely comfortable, and are lightweight. I bought them online in a last-ditch Hail, Mary attempt for Keens before a winter vacation to Kauai where we were planning to do some hiking. I didn't want to pack boots and these fit the bill perfectly! My only regret is that my new shoes are now stained with Kauai's famous red mud.

These shoes are perfect! I had originally ordered a different pair, but they were too wide for my feet. These shoes, since they have a women specific fit, were perfect! I wore them on my 2 week honeymoon to Costa Rica. I wore them almost every day, even days when we walked 6 miles (which was several days during the trip). Walking, hiking and in the rain forest they were exactly what I had hoped for. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a pair to wear right away.

These are very comfortable. They fit true to size and are lighter and less clunky than other Keens I have tried. I took them on a cruise and could wear them on the beach, on shore trips and even with smart shorts they looked reasonably dressy. I would like them in more colors.

Got a very slight blister the first day wearing them, but that was probably due to the hot weather in the Caribbean and not because of the shoe itself. Very comfortable, wore them specifically to go hiking and river tubing in the rainforest and they were awesome. Light but never felt like they would fall off in the river.

I am on my feet constantly in mostly warm temperature and suffer from chronic foot pain. These have been a life saver. Much less foot discomfort by the end of the day. The ability to adjust the width is a plus as you can loosen as feet swell. Also hold up well when they get wet. While not exactly elegant, they don't look bad with shorts or even jeans.

Keen shoes hold up to everyday wear. My prior Keen shoes lasted two years with heavy use. This pair is just as comfortable. I need a style like this to allow my feet stay cool while maintaining my hospital's dress code requirements of toe and heel being covered. I like the draw string tie, nothing to trip on and it allows getting the shoe on and off quickly.

Never. That\'s how many reviews I\'ve ever written online. My kids bought me some Keen Ellies for my birthday. Since then I\'ve bought hiking boots (jury\'s still out on those), and now these Whispers in the Nile/Neutral Gray. They will go with everything! We\'re going on a 2 week cruise, and these are so comfortable with or without socks that I think I\'ll have no problem with my problem feet on the boat or on shore excursions walking several hours at a time. I\'ve worn them around the house for hours. It\'s rare when I can do that with any shoe I\'ve ever owned. \r\n\r\nOn top of that, the service from Zappos is the best of the best. I truly hope it never changes. Just ordered other products and expect them to arrive tomorrow - overnight. The Whispers ran true to size (9), though my boots ran a size larger, which makes Zappos service doubly valuable. Thank you Zappos, and thank you Keens!

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. The first time I wore them was a long 12 hour day at Disney World. Then I wore them the next day for another 8 hours at Disney Animal Kingdom. Everyone thought I was crazy to wear new shoes I hadn't even broken in for two full days of walking, but my feet felt great afterward. I love the protection of the boxed toe, but the openness and breathability of the shoe.

I bought this shoe for a whitewater rafting trip and it worked out well. Much more secure fit than other sandal types and it stayed on even when I fell out of the raft in the rapids. My only complaint was that the pull-strap which tightens the top of the sandal was pressed down on top of my foot by the raft and was quite uncomfortable by the end of the day, but I think this would be an issue very specific to whitewater rafting.
