I love these. They look a little odds, but the first time you don't stub your toe will make you love them too. I find these fit slightly different than the Keen hiking boots.

Recently bought these, looked unique and familiar with the Keen brand. These are awesome flip flops and the toe protection is a nice feature, especially with Summer coming. As the other review, these have been a conversation starter for sure. My daughter loves them and would love a pair, just not available in her size. I hope Keen continues to make these and make available for kiddo's!

These are my all-time favorite sandals. If they ever stop making them I will be in mourning for years.

The Keen Waimea is a great flip flop for hiding my overlapping toes. Keep in mind the D width and also they run a half size long. Very comfortable, love flip flops in San Diego!!

2nd pair, first one lasted 6 years. Best sandals ever.

Fit was smaller than other Keens of same size.

I love these shoes and have ordered multiple pairs over the years. I'm a woman with large feet, and I have ordered both the men's and women's versions depending on what is available at the time. These are great for light hiking and long walks. They dry quickly and have never given me blisters or discomfort. The only downside of these shoes is that the adhesive on the soles eventually dies, separating into a flapping annoyance. In my experience it takes about 2 years of near-everyday wear for this to happen though, so they're still well worth it at the price. I would avoid the ones with black soles, as the color transfers to your feet.

As a charter boat captain, I am on my feet all day long. The sole has great grip for The wet surface of a boat and with the ocean movement.. i love the protection of my toes and the arch support is great.. i have hiked through the jungles of Panama and even framed houses in them. I wear them more than any other pair of shoes i have ever owned. These have been my go to shoes for the past ten years. I own 4 pairs now and have just ordered 4 more pairs.. I'm real happy with the new color options they have and would have ordered the 5th pair if they were available in my size. I highly recommend them for everyone!!!!

Best flip flops/sandals I've ever owned. Very very comfortable, very durable (my 4 or 5 year old pair look like they did on the day I received them from Zappos) and versatile enough to wear around the house or for outdoor activities. The very fist day I wore them, I noticed that there was an odd, sharp texture on the bed of one of the sandals. I was in the middle of a work event and didn't take the time to investigate until I was on my way out of the event. When I finally checked, I realized that I had stepped on a bundle of relatively large staple gun staples. The incredibly dense, comfortable sole of these shoes was thick enough to prevent these staples from doing any damage to my person. Had I been wearing most sandals, I probably would've had a very different story to tell. The toe guard is great on these. You can kick a brick wall and feel no ill effects. Overall, one of the best pairs of shoes I've ever owned.

This is my third pair and I'm still wearing the first pair I bought 15 years ago. Granted they are a little thin but are still holding together. These will also get a lot of "those are cool" comments.

Excellent customer service once again. Zappos is the only place to buy shoes online. Only once did Zappos not have the shoes that I wanted, and that time they found a competing online retailer that carried the shoes I wanted. How is that for customer service?!

This is my third pair of the H2. Need Isay more. Keens make incredible footwear and Zappos makes the whole shopping experience from start to finish an absolute joy. Zappos customer service should be copied verbatim by any company that wants to continue to grow and make "Customers," happy!

I have work these for many years. wore one pair out, dog chewed up another. I always keep an extra, they are great! Non slip bottom, you cannot "stubb" your toe, fits your foot and arch well. will not fold under like other sandals, Best Sandal in the world - too bad they are so ugly - I really do not care!

This is my second pair of these. They are very comfortable and supportive of my flat arches. The toe guard may look weird for a thong but it is comfortable. It has protected my toe in several stubbings and object droppings in its day. It actually kept the slipper usable when the toe strap snapped off which prompted me to replace it. These are also very durable as it lasted me at least five years. Keen is quality. I am a big Keen fan!

I am a big guy (310 lbs) and I suffer from plantar fasciitis! I used to wear Crocs but they would really inflame my problem! I just got these and have worn the last week! Seems they will support my arches better than any other sandal type shoe! But my wife thinks these are the ugliest things she has ever seen!

The toe guards are so great. Thanks Keen for continuing to make a slide, sandal with this feature. Thanks Zappos for stocking half sizes.

Nice fit, comfortable, and I like the toe cover. I would recommend them for anyone worried about stubbing your big toe. It also covers discolored nails on the big toe.

I wear Keen work boots and think they are great so I thought I would give these a try. I like them very much and they are comfortable. I like the fact that it covers your big toe and wished it covered all the toes going across. I'll buy another pair.

These are one of the most comfortable and supportive flip-flops I have ever purchased and I like the toe guard as it is a cool feature and I received a number of compliments because of it and that is always a good thing. Good traction on the sole for wet surfaces, a good safety feature. Bottom line is that the Keen Waimea H2 are a great masculine looking flip-flop for us men.

Depending on your specific needs and shape of feet, these could be the best flip flop you've ever worn. The general shape of the foot pad is very form fitting and together with the unique toe box seems to allow these to move around less than open toe designs adding comfort and longer walk ability distances on varied terrain. The toe box has saved me from stubbed toes many times and also covers up a big portion of my long ugly toes (added bonus). I bought two pair because I no longer see these on the Keen website so assuming they are discontinued. I owned two more bor the last 5 or so years which were of a slightly different design. The older models were narrower which was a better fit for me since I have narrow feet so somewhat disappointed with the new ones in that regard, but for an average foot probably the newer version is a better fit. The old ones had a rubber piece that slid In between the big toe and index toe. This was the point of failure after several years of wear. The new version is fabric, which I'm assuming is at least intended to wear better, but just guessing. The soles are rugged, grip well, and long lasting. While I'm typically one to spend a small amount on a pair of basic flip flops, I have made an exception for these since they're the next best thing to wearing a full on sandal with more straps and harnesses throughout making them more of a shoe than a slipper. Depending on what I'm doing, I can wear these all day while mostly impossible with a basic drug store flip flop. They also look good enough to wear with casual evening clothing at a tropical reception sort of event.

Very comfortable. I particularly like the protection over the big toe. I usually wear a 12 in a dress shoe and a 13 in a tennis shoe. For Keens a 11.5 fits well. Contrary to another review I read, the bar between the toe is a soft nylon, not a hard rubber.

Best summer shoes ever! Being a 250lb Dad living in Chicago, these are perfect for hoofing it around the city, carrying stuff and kids and being my feet a lot, awesome support, totally comfortable, good wet - incredible, everything shoes...and you don't stub your toe!
